First off, it's called FIVE STAR PIZZA not One star Pizza, people! We've been eating this pizza since we moved here about a year ago. Not every day or week but still pretty frequently. It's consistently good pizza and I've had no issue with their service. Once they did call me late one day after I had picked up my order cus the manager thought the charge hadnt gone through but i checked my bank app and it was pending. Kinda funny but wasnt a problem. We tried this place for the first time tonight. The pizza was extremely greasy and not all that great. My wife had the steak and cheese sub. It got thrown out after the fist bite. Little to no cheese and it was more like a calzone than a sub. She said it was horrible. The 2 women working there acted as if it was a bother to take my order and was NOT very personable. The pizza is very good and about the same price as other pizza stores in the area. My only problem is the fact they offer subs. Well they do not sell subs, they are calzones. I ordered a chicken blt with lettuce , tomato and heavy mayo. I thought I was buying a sub. It came loaded with bacon and chicken and gooey cheese. It had cut Tomatoes and shredded lettuce on the side and about 5 Pat's of mayo. I had to cut my calzone open to put my tomato and lettuce in , then put my mayo on. Now granted it made a good calzone but not what I was expecting. If you are making calzones, then please say they are not subs but calzones. It was very messy to have to cut the calzone and fill it with my veggies. Now as to size.....OMG well worth it. I have enough for another meal. I have also bought the pizza and was very pleased. It is exactly as I like my crust and filled to the edge not an inch from the edge like some places I will definitely go back for more. I have never had a problem with delivery drivers or the store. We ordered a pizza an hour ahead of a work meeting. Sine we are only 3 miles from our office we thought this was plenty of time to have the pizza in time for our meeting. The delivery time was guaranteed for 12:00, we received our cold pizza an hour later after our meeting had ended. Fastest Delivery is printed on their boxes...obviously not true. I love Five Star. They have the best bacon of any pizza restaurant in Ocala. I always get the small pepperoni with bacon and extra cheese. Yum! With a side of pepperoni rolls. OMG - A friend and I order a extra large pizza for pick up. When we got there we asked the pizza be split down the middle and placed in two boxes. While our pizza was out and exposed on the prep table, someone doing construction in the kitchen area drilled a hole in the wall near and over our pizza. Dust and partials from the dry wall including some fiberglass insulation which was behind the wall showered down on our pizza. I left disgusted and told my friend I was not touching any of that food. I've been eating at this location for years, and never had a problem until recently. I ordered on the 1st, ate the food, and that night into the next day became violently ill. Wasn't sure what the culprit was, hadn't had anything else to eat that day, and found it odd that the pizza and wings could have been the problem. Ate the same food, I wanna say two days later and became sick, AGAIN. Today is the 5th, I called after having recuperated from multiple food related illnesses, and was hung up on by the manager Mike after being told there was nothing he could do because no one else complained of being sick, and I didn't call back that day (I ordered at night) or the next. When I called back to ask if there was a manager higher up, whether inside or outside of the store that I could speak to other than Mike, I could hear him shouting at the team lead I was speaking to, telling her to, "HANG UP THAT PHONE RIGHT NOW." etc. I'm not sure why this man is behaving so irrationally, but I honestly can no longer allow myself to dine at his location after his blatant lack of accountability, and volatile leadership. We ordered over $70 dollars worth of food, we always order their everything Piezilla every time we call them. We got wings and 2 large other pizzas and a 2 liter of pop. This time all of are stuff was all on top of are piezilla box beside the pop.
