Decent pizza, but nothing special. We were in town and wanted delivery pizza. The staff was very friendly and the driver showed up exactly at the scheduled time, but the pizza was fair. I'm from NY originally, so my taste for that style wasn't met. I wasn't really disappointed, but not impressed either. If you need a pizza delivered in Palm Coast; give them a try. It will be on time, friendly service (which is worth a ton to me) but it probably won't be the best pizza you've had. read more

I've been ordering pizzas from Five Star for a few years now and it has always been really good. The ingredients are always fresh and the pizza is always cooked perfectly. That was until recently when quality started to suffer. Overcooked sometimes, lacking on the amount of toppings other times. On November 6th I ordered two pies, one was and everything pizza and the other just cheese. I was told the order would be ready in 35 minutes which was perfect because my wife was picking them up on her way home. When she got there they sat the cheese pizza on the counter and proceeded to tell her that they had not started the other pizza yet and that it would be another 20 minutes and then left the cheese pizza on the counter to get cold. While she was waiting she opened the box to take a peak and the pizza was overcooked. She sent me a pic and I called to complain and was assured as was she that they would comp us a free pizza the next time we ordered. Fast forward to today when we decided to give them another chance. I started my order and then mentioned that we were supposed to be get a free cheese pizza, which he then stated he had no idea what I was talking about. Ironically it was the same guy I had spoken to on the 6th. I don't know if there has been a turnover in staff or management, but they have lost a long time customer. read more

We ended up throwing $28 away so we've had our first and last pizza, wings, and cinnamon bread. The pizza was extremely greasy and just not edibles!! Tried to have the extra grease up; to no avail. The wings were average. Pre frozen just like the pizza. That's not all! The cinnamon buns are actually little freezer biscuits swimming in syrup. We ordered dinner from Five Star tonight and everything was exceptional. Pizza, wings & cinnamon rolls were all better than any other pizza delivery near my area and I really enjoy Hungry Howies. They are a bit more pricey which is understandable. Way to go Five Star!!! read more

I wrote the bottom review then Eric the night manager called and made everything right. So I will not hold it against them for one bad apple. I will strongly recommend them now. Don't want to even leave 1 Star. Last two times order has been wrong and today they said they couldn't find our house when we have gotten delivery multiple times before with no problem. I called and offered to pay difference and the manger on duty was rude and blamed me and tried putting me on hold. I would of expected to make the order right however the manager on duty was argumentative and put me on hold and there was no resolution. Okay so Five Star Pizza is on the level of Dominos or Papa Johns but in my opinion much better. Prices are better, delivery was faster and taste of pizza was much better. Plus you can get a big ass 24" pizza. Friggin huge. In addition to good pizza their wings were solid as well. Be on the lookout for coupons which can get you some really great deals. read more

Most delivered pizza is just pizza in a box, with the flavoring mimicking the cardboard as well. Tonight we decided to give Five Star Pizza a go instead of the franchise cardboard pizza dealers. The special was a large two-topping pie, garlic rolls, and 2 liter soda for $17. The garlic rolls were piping hot with plenty of oily extra-garlicky goodness. The pie was hot with minimal sauce, thick cheese, and ample amounts of pepperoni and sausage. The thin crust was easily folded over for proper oral insertion. Minimal crust with the ingredients placed almost to the edge. 2-liters of Mug rootbeer finished off the feast. With the exception of a couple dine-in pizza joints, this pie was very good for delivery fare. read more

Came into town and wanted something quick and tasty for a late night snack, but wanted to stray away from the usual pizza delivery chains. We ordered the basics, large cheese and pepperoni pizza and garlic knots. The delivery was within the timeframe they quoted me over the phone. The woman who took my order as well as the delivery person were very pleasant and helpful. They also delivered right to our hotel room door! I just had Five Star for the first time last night and it was delicious. We did one of their huge pizza's and made it half cheese and half of their everything. The everything side looked like a mountain range compared to the cheese side. My favorite part is the dough; it worked perfectly with the cheese side(lightly sweetened dough and salty cheese) and was strong enough to hold all the toppings from the everything side. We also had some garlic rolls and cinnamon rolls...again, it's all about the dough. read more

Stopped off here without checking the reviews, something I never do! I'm from out of town and as it was late nothing was open. We ordered a veggie pizza and it was ready in less than 10 minutes for a reasonable price. It was fresh and the crust was perfect for our taste. The employees also seemed very friendly and it was a clean environment. They also had delivery to the hotel I stayed at, and it seemed like they were fast at delivery for the guests I talked to. On a Wednesday after lunchtime, How does it take the longest it has ever taken, Friday and Saturday included, for 1 large pizza that was supposed to be an ex. large per my actual order.? Due to coronavirus everyone is still wearing protective masks except for the pizza workers which I find scary. I Arrived Friday 5-15-2020 around 2 pm to pick up 2 large pizza's order of garlic rolls, and hot wings. I asked for a bag for the 2 litter and completely ticked off the worker. He yelled out you want a bag for what, which was humiliating, and I had to explain I needed it for the 2 litter so I could carry everything out to my car. His yelling at me got the attention of the cook in the back and he started fake coughing, and this made the guy waiting on me start laughing uncontrollable because he knew he was faking just to scare me. Absolutely do not recommend this location. I just moved to the area, I've had five stars many times, I usually love their restaurant, but this was the WORST food and service I've ever had. I got a large pizza and 10 wings, the pizza was edible where as the wings were absolutely under cooked and soggy and just down right disgusting. We ordered pizza and nuggets at 11:00 pm. They were still open and delivering which was awesome because the crappy resort we were staying at had no food available. We were leery because the reviews weren't great but we figured bad pizza was better than no pizza at all. What a pleasant surprise! The pizza was good and the nuggets too. Last year I finally found good, affordable and fresh pizza that is delivered to my area. So I've been ordering from here regularly and not the competition. So I call today and was told there is a minimum $30 charge for delivery to my area. I ask for the manager to confirm. He proceeds to tell me that they lose business by having to send a delivery person to my area. That's complete BS. Needles to say, they have lost a once satisfied customer. I will not give them a red cent, even from my mothers house where I have ordered a few times as well. read more

This is one of the two places I go for pizza, the other being Papa Johns. Their large pizza is larger than Pizza Hut and PapaJ. The first time I ordered about a year ago the pizza was moist and delicious. The last two times it has been dry, my wife commented it tasted like old pizza. Anyhow, their wings and garlic knots are good. I hope the pizza improves on my next order or Papa and PHut will be getting more of my business. read more
