Liked the coffee until I asked for light ice and they told me that they would have to charge me extra for more coffee or they could give me less coffee to make up for the missing ice. I couldn't believe it!! After paying $7+ for a coffee, you would think requesting light ice wouldn't be a big deal. It's really the principle of it. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!! My friend and I was looking for a coffee shop after a hike nearby, and stumbled upon here. It's such a lovely place! There is plenty of space to do work and catch up with friends :) My friend and I split a crepe, which was delicious! I also ordered a chai latte, and thought it was good but a tad too sweet for my taste. The baristas are all so friendly, and the vibe is a very relaxed feel. My favorite cafe. It's honestly the great place to snack, drink coffee, and work on your hobbies or work. The drinks are a little bit more on the expensive side imo, but the foods are priced alright foe what you get. The tables are also nice and spacious so you can get a lot of room to work and the wifi works well if you need to use the computer. The only major downside for me is that the music is uncomfortably loud. I feel like I couldn't be there for too long cause I was overwhelmed my the noise. The patrons and workers are fine though. I LOVE Five07!! I love supporting local businesses and Five07 is also just so dang good so it is a win win!! Lots of options and a few drinks I love and filter between. One small area for improvement: I am a huge matcha fan and used to drink their matcha all the time, but recently it feels like the baristas are not mixing the matcha all that well so its all been clumpy at the bottom and not tasty. I still come when I want coffee, but if I'm craving matcha I go else where. That said, if this was resolved, I'd much rather buy my matcha at Five07! read more

Five07 is the best coffee shop addition to the Thousand Oaks area since Bean Crazy closed down on Moorpark Rd. It has the perfect variety, reasonable prices, quality espresso, hip lounge areas, outlets, friendly customer service, and parking options galore. The cafe carries everything from smoothies and paninis to GF Vegan pastries, donuts, cupcakes, and more. I tried the Confucius panini on some of the best GF bread I've had, and a cappuccino. Both were more than satisfying and provided me with the a full belly and a caffeinated brain. The espresso they use is a local roast from Ventura and I believe they only have soy, almond, and regular milk for latte options. I believe I spotted about 4 different outlet locations throughout the shop, though there may have been even more. There is bar seating, bean bag chairs, regular tables, and small individual tables - Many great options for working, meeting, eating, and conversing. Would definitely recommend the outdoor patio, as well, for lunch dates in the sun. The staff here were smiley and kind, and got things done in a very timely manner. The wifi is fast and has never pooped out on me. The cafe does open mic night style events every once in a while, so make sure to check out their social media or signs in shop to stay in tuned with those. All in all this is a really cool spot to visit and work at. It's not absolutely mind blowing but it's exactly right for the Thousand Oaks area. read more

The owners are a couple who really CARE about serving great craft coffee. With enlightened owners, their staff is sweet and unpretentious. (I don't know how they can afford to have so many working at a time!?) I also don't know why anyone would go to the other chains in this mall (Starbucks and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf) who serve Frankenstein coffee with corn syrups galore. My macchiatos and cortados and peppermint rose hot teas are always special and perfect, and they offer rotating single origin beans that alternate from citrusy and bright, to dark chocolatey notes. Personally, I skip the citrus roasts, but in a week, my darker roast is back--and their staple house roast is mind-blowing, anyways. They have some vegan food items; I count on their avocado toast (with poached eggs and arugula and tomatoes, and, note, no eggs after 2pm). Spacious indoor seating, that fills up with Cal Lutheran students on weekends, and plenty of outdoor patio tables. A little haven. read more

This is place is 3 months old, but has enough customers keeping it rocking (great music on the sound system, btw). Lots of students, business people, moms building empires between school dropoff/pickup keep this place well-occupied. The staff is really nice, and the menu is very innovative. I've been here twice, and each time I had a bowl, and their vegan maple ginger chai, which is absolutely delicious! My favorite bowl is the "Make It Nasty" with a scoop of chocolate-flavored vegan protein mixed in. I'll be coming back. read more

Unfortunately the latte I had tasted like warm frothy milk so I had to throw it out after the second sip. Being that the addition of flavor is $1 making the coffee almost $7, I had expectations of a quality cup. We just got back from the Del Coronado last week, enjoying salted Carmel latte's that were less expensive on property than the one at Five07, so my expectation was, this should be a quality cup. My sister got a latte and I got a cold brew . My sisters latte was fine according to her and she had no problems. The cold brew had a sour taste so I didn't drink more then a quarter of it and under a half hour I was physically sick and vomited. My sister smelled it and said something was off and that's when I stopped drinking it. I just moved up here so I'm kinda sad this is one less place to go as there aren't a lot of good coffee shops around here read more

FIVE07 Cafe is more than a café. My husband & I both decided to stop here instead of our usual Starbucks run, before heading into work. We wanted something different with more plant based options. WE GOT SO MUCH MORE! This place was PACKED for a Thursday morning. Every table was occupied. The menu was beautiful! They have vegan & GF options for just about every item on the menu. I ordered the chai latte, classic toast which was a slice of toasted French bread with dairy free hazelnut spread, strawberry & banana slices, and your choice of a drizzle of honey, maple or agave syrup. He got the avocado toast served with smashed avocado, flakey salt & chili flakes & Vera Mexico coffee. Pastries from The Karma Baker, in Westlake, CA, are sold here as well. The Karma Baker offers vegan AND gluten-free desserts & pastries, so you never need to ask if they are V or GF ever again! The Chai was the BEST, MOST AMAZING CHAI I HAVE EVER HAD! No joke. It was stronger on the ginger side, but was perfect & palette pleasing for me. It had just the right amount of zing! Five07 Cafe is open until midnight everyday & they have live music. So,they serve up more than just food & drink, they serve up food for the soul. I watched the cashier/order-taker & he had an amazingly happy, upbeat way about him, very warm, friendly, welcoming & eager to educate the clients of the offerings. I can clearly see why this place is packed. WHY DID IT TAKE ME SO LONG TO COME HERE??? Right then & there I felt an obligation to write my review, while sitting at their table. I was there close to 12:00 during the week and I was very surprised how crowded it was! I ended up getting it to go so it wasn't an issue and lots of people were working on their computers or studying. I loved the art in the bathroom and on the door of the inside of the bathroom. We have gone twice so far. The menu is limited and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience! I got the egg and avocado toast on multi grain. I thought the multi grain was going to be sweet and clash with the eggs and avocado but they all went so well together. I also got the maple ginger chai and it was delicious -- rich with just the right level of kick. The chai was so good it made us go back a second time. On the second time I even got the seasonal snickerdoodle and I loved that too. Service was great, everyone was friendly. There are some seats inside but it's also nice to sit outside as well (even if it's a parking lot view). read more

I used to love this place a lot before I took a break from fast food to become a healthier, more centered Macy. Then I came back and they changed to a new app! Ugh! It is hard to navigate, doesn't tell you if an item is vegan, and doesn't support ApplePay. It doesn't tell you when your order is ready, either. Please fix the app. The avocado toast is very expensive, especially for the size and if you want gluten free and extra toppings! I like the pesto, tomato, and the beyond meat patties. Yum! I love the maple ginger chai, the ahlia tea, and the hot apple cider. The crepes are a decent size and you can get them vegan and add toppings. To my memory they are also gluten free. There is also a muffin that is pretty good. There are a lot of options for gluten free and vegan people. The app just needs to be clearer on what is what. read more

Been coming here for a few years and I'm glad something like this exists in T.O. I love how they emphasize community and seek to serve their customers well, as well as serve specialty coffee. Their coffee is pretty good for something you would expect in T.O. and they have great variety on the menu. I got an iced chai with oat milk which was decent; not my favorite of theirs. This was my first time trying The Gibran which was also good, but not my favorite on the menu. The prices are way too high for what you get. I paid $15 or so for a breakfast sandwich that had arugula that had seen better days, maybe 2 eggs, and a piece of cheese. The smoothies have also gone up in price considerably but the size remained the same. The new app was easy to use, but they forgot my cookie and I ordered 16 ounce latte and received 12 ounce. Although, I can appreciate how busy they are and how hard it is to find staff, but wanted to provide feedback. I'm new to this area and always looking for gluten free and healthy coffee. One recommendation would be to offer chaga mushroom, cinnamon, etc options to add to coffee. Also would love a spicy mocha with chaga mushroom! While this is still a very cute and trendy shop, the prices and crowds make a difference for me. Now that I live just down the street, I visited Five07 for the first time in a year, ordering (and loving) the goat cheese, lavender, and honey toast again; I also ordered the sparkling lemonade again despite not really liking it the first time, and it still wasn't my favorite. I also got a donut to go this time, and it looked absolutely delicious--I understand that their baked goods are all gluten free, which is nice. But this donut, despite how good it looked, ended up not even really tasting like a donut... Not sure if it's the gluten-free aspect of it or what, but the cake part itself tasted like cornmeal: not very sweet and not a great texture. Never thought I'd come across a donut that I don't like, but wow. I couldn't even finish this one. It was kind of awful. It also cost me $10 for the toast and lemonade, which isn't fantastic pricing considering the portion sizes of these two items, and the donut alone was $5. We also got stuck sitting in the sun outside on an 85-degree morning due to how crowded it was inside and out, on a Friday! The ladies whose sunny table we nabbed once they stood up to leave also told us not to order the coffee at Five07 because "it's disgusting." I'm not a coffee person, but my cousin agreed with them. That same cousin had to spend $11 on a somewhat small açaí smoothie bowl, and she commented that she'd rather spend that exorbitant amount at SunLife. I may go in again at off-peak hours, but honestly, aside from the toast, I don't know if it's worth it for me. This shop feels more like an aesthetic choice than a logical one now. Great staff and ambiance, though. Since it's close, I'm sure I'll be in again at some point. But honestly, Starbucks tea and snacks are slightly cheaper and much better. read more
