The staff are all super nice and helpful and the whole vibe of Five07 itself is pretty welcoming. I got the Classic Toast and an Iced Latte. The latte was pretty good; I was able to subsitute in Almond Milk and add vanilla syrup. The toast was like your regular nutella toast w/ fruit but I really liked how fresh and ripe the strawberries and banana slices they used were. The strawberries were really juicy and the honey they drizzled on top really brought the whole thing together. It's pretty busy in the mornings and sometimes a bit of a line. However with the noise levels I found it still possible to get work done inside and none of the sound was obnoxious (moreso of the whitenoise type). We got an oat milk white chocolate mocha and a half oat half almond vanilla latte and a pb smoothie bowl. The interior of this place is cute and they have a lot of a selection, however the food was not very flavorful. Both of the lattes did not taste like their advertised flavor and they had some off flavor I can't put a finger on. I think it must be the oat milk brand that they get or make. They had to remake my drink because they gave my iced instead of hot. The smoothie bowl was not worth 10$ seeming that it was very liquidy and the granola was very small and not easy to chew. Such a cute coffee place! My husband and I were in the neighborhood and were looking for a breakfast spot with some healthier options. This place had great reviews and some delicious looking menu items so we decided to check it out. Five07 is located in a shopping mall with plenty of parking. The space itself is super fun. Menus written on a scroll over paper hanging by the register, there's a bar to sit at, or a bunch of different seats. They have regular tables to couches and bean bag chairs. I also noticed some board games you can play if you decide to hang out for a bit. The cashier was super sweet and friendly, and even had an upbeat attitude for it being so early on a Saturday morning. We decided to order the avocado toast, and I added on goat cheese. It was delicious! The avocado had a nice citrusy taste and the red pepper flakes gave it a little kick. My husband also got a weekend warrior smoothie and he said it was delicious. Super green! I Love their creamy mocha and how spacious it is in here. They have open mic nights, come and bring your talent on. You sign up and wait your turn and it's for people of all ages. Call and find out what day of the week it is. I am one of those yelpers that love to try the "signature" dish and I failed miserably at this place. They have this drink called the 07- it is 5 shots of espresso, some maple syrup with oat milk. Sounds good doesn't it? I learned that maybe 5 shots isn't for me and I had to substitute the oat milk for macadamia milk because there is a state shortage on the milk. The owner was so cool, she wanted to know what it was I didn't like about it. If it wasn't 7 bucks I would have just left and not bother asking to sub it out but I'm glad I did, the owner loves feed back and she made me my mocha which I loved. I want to give a 5 star because I love this place - the morning blend is the best thing I've had in a long time. It literally makes me so happy to be eating it. BUT the prices are astronomically high here. The morning blend is fruit, granola, and peanut butter (something from costco is what the girl said) so you know it's not that expensive to make. Then you pay an added $1.50 for a scoop of protein (I buy very high quality expensive protein and I get 71 servings for $85.00) The mark up on protein add on isn't horrendous). The total for the morning blend (not including tip) is $15.50. That's crazy to me but I love it so much I'll continue to come. On to another outrageously expensive item (that will never be purchased again) is the panini. $17.00 for a panini that was not fabulous. The bread is huge and is basically the entire sandwich. There was MAYBE 2-3 slides of lunch meat on it + 1 slice of not-melted cheese. As noted above (something from costco) ... you know they aren't spending that much money on this stuff so WHY are they charging so much. Additionally it took forever to make this panini with not melted cheese and some pesto with a smidge of avocado on it. I get it .. the overhead to run the place + pay the employees but damn talk about price gouging at it's finest. The place is very cute, good atmosphere, friendly staff, etc. I'll definitely be coming back but wanted to make everyone aware of the prices here. If you're on a budget this would totally be a splurge. They need a bigger space for sure --- every single time I come it's packed even on a weekday at odd times. read more

Way to level up, Thousand Oaks! So nice to have an independent coffee shop that I actually want to go to, and--get this--a business in Thousand Oaks that doesn't shut down at 9:00 pm! Whaaaat. Great coffee (I'm told...not a coffee drinker), and love the maple ginger chai made with oat milk and fresh ginger. I don't love to do a ton of dairy but I'm also usually unimpressed by milk substitutes that always seem too thin and insubstantial; the oat milk is great! Five07 has an impressive following, considering the location and that they haven't been open all that long. The place is always full of people working or hanging out (enjoying the couches and board games or the live music). They offer a ton of vegan/non-dairy options, plus all the baked goods are gluten free. The food options (crepes, avocado toast, panini) are substantial enough for a light meal or perfect for a snack. Or choose from their baked goods from Karma Baker. Watch out--they're pretty expensive ($5 for a doughnut). The next time it's late evening and you're looking for something to do in Thousand Oaks...maybe we'll run into each other at Five07! read more

What a cool new local coffee shop in beautiful Thousand Oaks. They have yummy goodies like toasts that they make in house, and they have Karma bakery pastries in front. I think it's really cool they sell Karma treats (doughnuts, muffins, maybe cookies etc) because they're all vegan and GF. I've been to the bakery before and loved it but when I got a blueberry muffin at the coffee shop for some reason my muffin tasted funky, like the blueberries soggy and sour, not sweet. I couldn't figure out exactly but didn't enjoy it so I was a little disappointed. The baristas are extremely nice and helpful and I love that about this place. My first time I got a vanilla latte with oat milk, they make both the milk and syrup in house so I think that is cool. I thought my latte was good. When I went back a second time I wanted to try something else and asked about a hazelnut latte because I like sweet coffee drinks. Even though it wasn't on the board/menu they made it for me and I appreciated that. It's not a syrup/sweetener so it was thick but I asked for it, next time I will stick with the vanilla latte. Five07 is a little gem in Thousand Oaks. There's not another small local coffee shop like it with miles of TO. They have a great cappuccino (beautifully served). I haven't tried the food, but the crepes and the toast sounds like a great breakfast. Finally made it in to try this place and glad that I did. It was super refreshing to see a packed business, with a line to the door, and all within plain site of a SB coffee. Quality wins over quantity every time. I had the daily pour over, and while I can't even remember what it was (look, I love my coffee, but I'm no snob), it was delicious. I paired it with a vegan blueberry muffin and it was absolutely the best combo to kickstart my Saturday morning. I like their vibe, decor, music selection and coffee, so I'll be back.
