Not impressed by the quality of work/attention to detail. Took my car in to get the rear bumper replaced. After picking it up I noticed the paint was peeling away in two spots and took it back the next day. They apologized and "fixed" it in only a day. A month later and the paint is lifting up again... at least it's in a different spot. I had to call frequently to get updates on my car and when they said they'd call back when there were updates, they never would. Didn't know when my car would be done which was frustrating as an owner of one vehicle. Whole process took about two+ weeks. I recently had my Tesla Model 3 repaired at this location. The lift gate had a small dent from a fallen tree branch. It should've been a simple repair. Replacing the lift gate and paint on an otherwise brand new car. Communication was terrible. I was never provided any sort of update unless I called them. No calls, texts, or emails update of any kind otherwise. Waited about 2 months for my scheduled appt. Made sure they preordered the parts to help "expedite" the repair per their suggestion. Dropped off my car on a Wednesday and was estimated the longest it would take is the following Friday. No word from them through the weekend or Monday. I finally called Tuesday for an update and they told me it wouldn't be ready until the following Tuesday. When I asked why they told me that they hadn't received the lift gate until that day and were waiting on other parts to be delivered. I don't understand the reason for allowing me to drop the car off the prior Wed if the parts were not ready and my car would just be sitting there for almost a week without being worked on. Overall if took about 2 weeks to get my car back. The repairs look fine, but when I picked it up, I noticed some paneling on the seat was loose and had to be "popped back into place." Also, I dropped the car off with a 70% charge and when I picked it up they left it with under 25%. It seems like this shop is so busy and overwhelmed that they just aren't able to provide any sort of quality level of work/attention to detail or customer service. Some simple communication would've made the experience 10x better and saved me a week of a rental when my car was just sitting there waiting for parts. read more

When I picked up my car from Fix Auto Burbank earlier this month, I must say, I was quite sad. I love my little 2016 red Elantra GT. My husband just bought it for me back in October as a wedding gift, so to see it get damaged by a drunk driver while parked in a parking lot was disappointing...however, to see it repaired incorrectly was almost equally disheartening, if not more so. I trusted Raffi and his team and I didn't mind waiting an extra day past the promised by date to pick it up to have it done right. All of a sudden, the day they called me to tell me repairs were complete, I was bombarded with automated emails to update me on the repair status -- "70% completed" then "your car is ready" one right after the other. I'm not sure what took longer since they did not stray from the estimated price. When I arrived, I noticed that the bumper was not aligned properly at all to the quarter panel at its seam and was not sitting flush with the rear quarter panel. Fix Auto said this is a factory-genuine Hyundai bumper and they said somehow it didn't fit correctly. My first thought was: how was this possible? Did they start making 2016 Elantra GT bumpers bigger all of a sudden in a matter of months? They initially expressed no interest in repairing it, no matter how much I persisted. The gentleman even threw his hands in the air at one point and said, "That's just how auto repairs go." :( There was even a bead of clear coat on the left side of the bumper/quarter panel seam that was not sealed off properly and fell off, exposing the paint. Long story short, I had nowhere else to turn and contacted my insurance claims adjuster and was referred to a completely different body shop in Monterey Park, at our request. My insurance company contacted Fix Auto to collaborate payment for the the repairs to my car and a rental for this time period for me. Once the bumper was taken off by the other shop in Monterey Park, the real story of why a factory genuine bumper wasn't fitting was quickly explained. There was still damage left un-repaired by Fix Auto! 1 Rear Bumper Impact Bar, 1 Right Rear Upper Bumper Bracket, 1 Left Rear Upper Bumper Bracket, and a dose of of clear coat later, the bumper (magically,) fit and the car was properly restored to its original, pre-collision condition! I went here to get my car fixed after it was dented while parked in the street. I will say that I'm normaly hesitant to go to a place that is recommended by my insurance company (Geico). I just always felt that places recommended by the insurance company do a more rushed job as they try to crank out cars as cheaply as possible. But I couldn't be any more wrong about this place First, I'll start by saying that they were extremely professional throughout the wbole process. They really answered all my questions and kept me posted the whole way through on what was going on. I deal with Wilman Medrano who was great in communicating with me and explaining the whole process. I couldn't be happier with his service. Second, they did a GREAT JOB with the car itself. I was very nervous that they paint would not match the original paint of my car but it looks as if nothing ever happened. Wilman explained to me the type of paint my car has (3 step VS 2 step for most cars) and what they did in order to get it to look as good as it does. Took my car in for an estimate due to an accident. Efficiently enough, I received an email the next day for the results. I did not see any line item about the scratches on the trunk door. I called them up and were told the person who sent me an email no longer with the company. I need to turn in the car again for a supplement work order. How can you miss that? The roughens goes up from the bumper to the trunk. My insurance is very irresponsive, I hope "the person who no longer with the company" email does not haul up the repair. Fixed my car here after the minor crash. Since it was through insurance reimbursement I didn't end up paying anything. Even when the hood and the bumper was disassembled and the shop found more damage, they charged the insurance. The service was amazing! The staff always updated me on the status of the repairs. I had a pleasure working with Allen. I got so excited and happy when I saw the result that I decided to fix my side mirror that was damaged prior the accident. I would recommend anyone to come here. Heads up folks. I brought in my 2007 bmw x3 to get a quote on the damage my wife did on the late aftern oon May 14, 2020. After 5 days, on the 21st of May 2020,I finally got my car back and went to another shop for a quote. During the 5 day period their shop is virtually shut down on account of Covid 19. I could hardly find anyone to talk to. There was no work order, just a quote. They charged me $954,which included $204 for estimate, plus 5 days storage of $750, a total of $954! I went back on the 22nd of May to ask for the estimate paper work and they just told me it was totalled and said they would do whatever they could to help me out. Meanwhile, the other place fixed the car to look like the original for just over $3000. They are professional and do this every day. I wonder why the result is so much different. I'm way overdue writing this review. I brought my car here to be repaired in September 2021 after AAA recommended a few body shops to me after an accident. I called all 3 but from the minute I spoke with Alan I felt at ease. He was super helpful even over the phone, and they made my car repair very easy. It was repaired quickly, and looks great. My car is a 2016 but looked brand new afterward. They worked with Enterprise to make sure I could get to and from the rental car, even told me that I need new tires soon. :-) (Done.) I always like to start with the positives. When I brought my car to Fix Auto my bumper and the frame of my car was all messed up. They did a great job with the body work! Unfortunately, this is where my positive review ends. When I arrived to pick up my car, they immediately had me pay my deductible before looking at the work done to the car. Once I was all paid up and they were ready to have me drive off. my first major issue, was that my parking sensors(half the reason I came in) we're still not fixed. They were ready to have me drive off with my car, without finishing the job, I paid them for. In addition of this, I was appalled with the condition I found my car in there were big white scratches all along the passenger side of my car, that was not there when I drop the car off at FixAuto Burbank. At this point, it was very obvious to me, the body shop solely existing to take checks from insurance companies and car owners, not to fix the car properly. The careless nature in which they treated my car, was unacceptable. If you need extremely basic bodywork, the shop is probably fine, but don't expect your car to be cared for properly during the repair. After 4 additional hours of me waiting at the body shop(and them sending ME off to Tesla Service, to finish THEIR job) finally my parking sensors were working right. The scratches on the other hand, they couldn't have cared less about. Seems like it was common for them to scratch customers cars. They buffed out what they could in front of me(only after I noticed the damage, that they were about to let me drive off with). Most of the remaining deep scratches were ignored, except the most visible one. That one they slapped the most uneven careless coats of touch up paint, clearly don't to get me out of there as quickly as possible(before parking issue was discovered). I frankly wish they at least given me the touch up paint to do myself, cause frankly a toddler finger painting could have done a more even and less messy job than their technician did. He literally had the corner of a cardboard box as his "brush" and just slapped the paint on it, ready for me to drive off, before it was dry, with other problems remaining on the car. I was extremely disheartened with my experience at FixAuto Burbank and Cannot recommend them to anyone, but especially Tesla customers. Your car will not be cared for...I am generously giving them 2 stars as they did do the bare minimum to get my bumper looking good, but there were too many issues at FixAuto Burbank to leave them a better review... read more

The staff was very nice but the time of the repair and the repair itself was disappointing. First I was told it would be ready on a Thursday. Then it actually wasn't ready until Monday afternoon. I went in on Monday and there was still a little more work to be done so I waited. I paid my deductible (I did the Geico express and don't recommend it because Geico never checked in) and when I was handed my keys I saw dried paint drips over the back liftgate of my car. I was told to bring it in so they could fix it but I literally have no time to bring it in and wait more days for them to fix this. It should have been done right the first time. Again, the staff was nice and accommodating but the workmanship was poor. I also got an aftermarket bumper on a vehicle that is only 2 years old. The car was still dirty on the inside too and they made me wait while they wiped it down (only after I mentioned it). Just wish it was done right the first time. I will take it in to get it fixed again because they have a lifetime warranty on their work but very disappointing. read more

Man, I came to these guys like a wet dog that was left out in the cold rain: desolate, hopeless, sad. Was at fault for the accident I got into and was left with an inoperable car, a super high deductible, and no rental. Raffi was my point of contact and wow, what a stand up guy and so efficient. He arranged for tow from the insurance assigned shop that I didn't wanna be at, picked my ass offered to give me a life home. Took care of all the paperwork, dealt with the insurance, called and left me updates on the car as well as the automated updates that the shop provides. Any questions I had, he was right there to answer them and the most formidable part was his demeanor, his personality. Not just him, the whole staff. Gary I think was his name, then there was was another fellow. They all were right there, treated me as an equal and with respect. Raffi reminded me of that uncle or older brother who just comes in and fixes and just takes care of shit. I'm on my own in LA, so to have that feeling of someone handling my car business ethically and efficiently...can't ask for more. It doesn't get better, you think? You don't even know. The initial estimate had it in the shop for 16 days. Once they got in there a bunch of other shit was affected and needed time to be fixed, and instead of getting a call that I would need to wait another week, the call was to pick it up after 16 days. Raffi didn't even wanna worry me, he just quietly put the hustle on the repairs because he knew my ass was rideless and carless. Solid experience. So grateful to these guys. read more

Unfortunately, I have needed their services on two occasions in the last couple years. First, I was hit by someone who then took off in late 2008. Parts of my bumper were about to fall off after that. Acme was one of a couple body shops my insurance told me about. They were the closest so that's where I went. They repaired the damage and I merrily went on my way. Then, in January, I was in a minor accident and needed some repairs done to my car again. Having had a pleasant, easy experience the last time, I went back to Acme. Once again, they repaired the damage and my car is good as new again. But, I'm writing this because not only do they do good work in a reasonable amount of time, but they do a little extra, or what I consider a little extra. I had some paint from a pillar on my car (no where near the area that needed repairs). It had been there for months and I had been working on it little by little. I just don't have the time or the proper equipment to remove paint without damaging the car. I didn't realize it until way after I picked up my car, but they got it off. They washed my car and removed the pillar paint. So this is props to them for doing the job AND that little extra something when other people are taking shortcuts. read more

Their customer service is top notch. The work was done on-time as scheduled. I was really disappointed to see that the bumper was put on wrong and it was just sloppy quality control. However as soon as I pointed it out they corrected the problem immediately. Within about a half an hour the final repair looked great. Had a really bad experience with these guys. As soon as we walked in my wife felt uncomfortable. One of the men sitting at a desk kept wanting her to sit on the chair in front of him. He kept repeating himself "how can I help you" when my wife was all ready speaking to the female receptionist. As soon as we decided we wanted to go else where RAFFI became very nasty. They all started talking in Armenian and charged us for a towing fee of 110$ which the car was picked up 1 mile away. The guy wouldn't let us leave saying if we went some where else the dealer would car fax our leased car and they would give us hell. He said he made a mess for him just because we changed our mind on the shop AAA recommended. These guys seemed "SHADY" and very unprofessional. read more
