    Bumper with missing bracket sagging

Update. First repair went fine good dent pull and paint. Went in for second repair for a different collision, brought vehicle in had a rental for about two weeks. Picked up my car, everything looked fine the bumper was lined up and flush, paint looked great. Drove is 2 days later, I noticed my day time running light on pass side was also off, me being a mechanic I went in to check why my headlight was inop. Found issue in less than 2 minutes, (+) cable from headlight disconnected. Then I looked bit closer and realized my headlight support panel is broken, I was like wtf. You cannot miss this part being broken, you mount the fender to this panel. At this point I rules the situation is just straight negligence, I understand vehicle is 01 but it's not rocket science. So I took it upon myself to check everything else, the front fog lights were not mounted flush like they were before. The plastic trim I supposed to be held on by two screws only one on both sides were installed., then I got curious how they "repaired" the bumper when I told them it's not repairable anymore. The bumper ear where a riveted bumper bracket goes can't be installed because it's broken, I tried explaining this to them, nonetheless I trusted them since the first time repairs were good. Anyways the bumper was held on by a damn self tapper, no wonder it was sagging and not flush. A new bumper should have been orders like I said initially, I have gone to the shop to meditate the issue twice. I'm greeted by short Asian guy I let him know I need warranty repairs, he tells me they need to order a bracket. They need to call ford and find the correct part needed... I work at ford 1/4 down the street. My job deals with fix auto often, I asked parts manager if anyone from fix auto called no one has reached out to this day. I waited about 2 weeks they said they would call me and they didn't, I returned again and expressed how at this point I'm not satisfied and want repairs done correctly. I was met with the same Asian guy, he also brought out the technician who repaired it. I showed them once again the issues, they took pictures and told me the same thing they did last time. So I questioned the technician how would you install the bracket when the ear is broken on the bumper, idk if he didn't speak English but I didn't understand a single word. When they told me they were having trouble finding this bracket I told them I found it online in 5 minutes, they asked me to send the part numbers to fix auto email. So now they want me to go out of my way to find something? Remind me if I'm wrong but they're body repair specialists. I found a bumper replacement, the brackets, and the headlight panel support online in 10 minutes on LMR.com all parts in stock. Had I known this would be such a headache, I would've taken the 3k and bought all that for 1200$. Again not sure how they cut corners, when I quote collision repairs at my job I request all parts, insurance companies cannot say no with good reasoning. Instead I took the car home with a missing oem bumper bracket, with a self tapping screw and a replacement repair :D

"Officials say ten schools in the SJUSD have students sick from norovirus." - US News "Norovirus is still spreading fast in Yolo County.... Illness spreading through schools has reached more than 2,800 people in Yolo County and could linger on campuses through the end of the year." - The Sacramento Bee "Norovirus shuts down California Schools." NBC News What the heck?!?! Not only do teachers have to worry about covering all 6681929 Common Core standards every day, we also have to deal with viruses, lice, strep, ringworms, and other godforsaken icky stuff! My yoga instructors have this saying: CHOOSE NOT TO REACT. Pshhhhh. Yeah. I have a hell of a hard time with that, especially when there's insanity around me. Earlier this month I was involved in a car accident. Now, you know car accidents are a b*tch! I was happy as a clam driving home from an intense yoga practice one Saturday morning. As I was going up on a ramp in our car garage, I noticed a car on his way down the ramp (from the garage's mirror). There was NO WAY two cars were going to fit on that narrow ramp. I stopped. The other driver did not stop. I honked. The other driver kept going. Head-on collision occurred. Fortunately, the airbags didn't inflate so the impact wasn't too severe. It was a real challenge not to react when the passenger in the other car said, "Well, it's really not any one's fault." Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. That impact must have extremely damaged her brain. After I gave her a look of disbelief, I just took a loooooong deep breath. Eventually, Geico settled all the nonsense, and the other party ended up paying for all the repairs and my rental car fees. On their website I chose Fix Auto to have my car repaired since it was the closest to my place and they have Enterprise on site. I went in, two guys inspected my car (one guy from Geico, the other from Fix Auto), and I was informed they had to order some part or parts. After six days, I was called to say my car was ready to be picked up. My car was clean inside and out. All the dents from the car accident were gone and I was very happy. I am grateful how this all turned out. There's a saying: "You can't calm the storm so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself. The storm will pass." Unfortunately, this Norovirus catastrophe is still around. All I can do, though, is to stay cool so I can have a peace of mind. Oh and obsessively wash my hands as frequently as possible.

0/5 stars Brought in our car in June after getting rear ended. They took 3 whole months to fix our car and still managed to fuck up a simple fix to our bumper. As shown in the photos, our 90D model S was returned with a 70D decal. Not only did they fail to accomplish the simple task of paying attention to detail, they also failed at providing any decent customer service. During the 3 months that our car was at their business, we've called on multiple occasions asking for updates on their progress. Every single time, they said they'd update up within 24 hours but not once did they follow through. We were also not notified when they moved our car to a Tesla service center. Overall very negative experience. I would proceed with caution when reading all the 5 star reviews here. Something seems fishy to me. Would not recommend this place.

Got rear-ended and decided to take my car here. Not in the habit of getting hit so I was clueless coming in. They were helpful in explaining the process and what I could expect. After dropping my car off they gave me daily text updates letting me know the status and when to expect it back. The work was completed in a week and it looks like new. I'd come back again, but here's to hoping I don't have to. Drive safe everyone.

The friendliest auto repair folks I've encountered! I was sent here from an insurance adjuster and came on a Saturday for my appointment. The insurance company overbooked them so I offered to come back another day. Becky was kind enough to take photos of my car and quickly write up my quote. The lobby facilities is very clean. There's ambient music, a 6 seats, a Nespresso and a phone charging station!

5 stars for Bob purely based on honesty, professionalism, kindness and customer service…read more I reached out regarding damage on my salvaged VW CC after a hit-and-run from an unregistered RV. Bob gave me a realistic quote, but more importantly, he took the time to genuinely guide me instead of just trying to sell me on expensive work that didn't make financial sense for my situation. Even though I'm probably not going through the full body shop route, he still went out of his way to explain my options, educate me on the differences between body work vs PDR, referred me to someone he trusted, and even personally vouched for me and texted the guy on my behalf trying to help me out. That level of kindness and authenticity is rare these days. You can tell Bob genuinely cares about people and takes pride in doing things the right way. If I ever needed proper body shop work done in the future, he'd absolutely be one of the first people I'd call. Highly recommend.

If you want an experience where the body shop damages your vehicle and completely denies any…read moreresponsibility, a constant hassle of them saying your car is complete only for you to find that it's not, and for the timeline to be quadrupled then Bob's Bridge is the shop for you! The biggest problem is that they damaged my vehicle. No question about it. You can see the before and after pics with dates. My car had a small chip in the middle before the service but no chip on the left side. I know they damaged it because how I got the chip that in the first place because I slammed the trunk hard, thus chipping the glass. And this body work included fixing the trunk not able to close properly, so I'm positive they slammed the trunk thus chipping the glass in a different area. After telling Boris about the damage he completely denied responsibility and he has a way of not saying he won't pay for it, but rather pushing that issue to the side and saying we'll let's finish your body job and then maybe we can discuss the damage issue. But when the job was done I said he would need to compensate for the job and he said he's not paying anything. His defense was saying they don't work on glass so it's impossible for them to have caused the issue. But as I mentioned above, the chip likely came from somebody slamming the trunk. Additionally, Boris told me my car was done 6 times (yes, six!!!) when every time it was not. I don't live in Fremont so each time I had to drive to 45+ minutes, or waste money on Uber/Bart just to find out that the car needs to remain in the shop for further work. This is due to their poor craftmanship. You can see in the pics that they wanted me to pick my car up when there was damage on the bumper, poor paint job on the rear tailgate that made it red (they were so cheap on the job that they got aftermarket parts, so I didn't realize that they got a tailgate from a red tesla and painted it grey , which I never agreed to at the beginning of the job), sensors not being reinstalled, and the brake light was not installed correctly. Still, after taking it back 6 times, although most of the redness is gone there are still minor scratches that were never there before the accident. Boris has hung up on my phone calls so despite their "warranty" I'm not even able to go back there again so I'm just going to have to deal with it. The weirdest part about this whole experience was that one of the 6 times they said my car was complete they put on bumpers that had no holes for the sensors. So basically the tesla drove like a normal car without being able to detect what's in front or behind it. I still have no clue why they would do this?!?! Why would you put on the wrong car parts?? I told them to keep it in the shop but they insisted that I take my car because it would take a week for them to get the parts, paint them, put the sensors in, etc etc. Of course this took 2.5 weeks instead of 1 and then he didn't fix the sensor problem so I had to drive out again and wait another week. Ugh. It was such a hassle. And of course Boris was claiming that he had nothing to do with the sensors being a problem that they caused . Really Boris? The sensors were fine before I took it into your shop so please explain that one to me . Lastly, they said this job would take 1.5-2.5 weeks. It took 2 MONTHS. Yes, 2 months. And still my car has scratches and the windshield chip I mentioned. Not to mention I had to pay 100% of the cost up front which is extremely sketchy. Body shops only require 50% up front at most to buy parts. They claim that I had to do that because they gave me a good deal. I don't buy that one bit. Be weary they will also want you to Zelle so you can't dispute the charge!! I disputed the charge but unfortunately lost. I will be taking Bob's Bridge Collision Center to small claims court to recover the cost of them damaging my rear windshield. Avoid this shop at all costs and don't make the mistake that I did. They are liars.
