    Both the service and repairs were absolutely excellent. The communication with customer service was absolutely the best, I worked with Dai and he was amazing. It's really great that they are Tesla certified. So they got legit new Tesla part from my Tesla. The paint job was also perfect. I highly recommend to others. Great work. Thank you.

    I hope I never have to come back, but if I do, I know Dai and the rest of the folks at Xcel collision will do fantastic work. tldr; bumper and rear quarter panel repair dealing with at other party's insurance. - Dai knows how to handle insurance adjusters well while providing you the best service. - Car was repaired ahead of schedule and returned cleaner than when I dropped it off( I made sure to detail the best I could before dropping off the car too) - Dai provided updates at every stage so you never were wondering what stage your car is at or what's going on / taking so long. That really puts you at ease away from your car (especially when you're in a not comparable rental) - For Teslas specifically, the folks at Xcel do a way better paint job than factory

    Amazing experience and customer service! My car's back side-panel was damaged in a hit and run while parked, and my insurance recommended Xcel as a approved partner. Dai was super friendly and communicative throughout the whole repair process including sending pictures of the progress. They also cleaned the inside and outside of my car for me which I wasn't really expecting but was super happy about. Definitely worth the value to come here!

    Bumper Replacement

    10/10 Experience I brought my Tesla Model 3 to XCEL Collision Center to replace the front bumper. I dropped it off on Monday, and by Tuesday morning, it was ready for pick-up. The service was fast, straightforward, and seamless. Dai handled everything from start to finish, ensuring the process was hassle-free. When I picked up my car, I was blown away. Not only was the repair flawless, but the car had also been washed, the tires shined, and the interior thoroughly vacuumed. It felt like a brand-new car. This level of customer service sets a new standard. If you need any bodywork for your car, you're doing yourself a disservice by going anywhere other than XCEL Collision Center. Dai, you and your team are rockstars. Thank you!

    I had a positive experience with Xcel collision center to fix scratches on my door and quarter panel. My car was hit and run at a parking lot, the perpetrator had Farmers insurance. Xcel accepted my request without much hassle and handled all the paperwork with the insurance company, my car was handed to me in great condition on time. Linda was super friendly and helpful as well. Would recommend their service!

    I'm so glad I went to this shop because it was pretty close to my work. I called in to see if I can just come in to get a quote since my insurance couldn't find an appointment with their own shop around my work schedule. The staff were very accommodating and I was able to just come in right after work on a Thurs afternoon an hour before they closed. They were able to get me a quote within 15 mins. Jose helped me through out the whole process. He was very professional, helpful, and kept me updated through out the whole process. I didn't have to worry about what was going on because I received frequent updates while my car was in the shop. I like that the front desk were straight forward but also professional, which I prefer over staff who sugar coat things. I was glad that they work with Enterprise on Kerly because I was able to get picked up through their shuttle to get my rental car. When it was time to pick up my car, I was able to leave the rental at the shop and Enterprise will pick up their rental car. I'm not sure if other shops do this since this was my first time getting my car fixed at a collision shop but that was a very nice aspect. The shop also offered to wash my car, which they also did a great job on! It looks just like new! Overall, I would recommend this shop to anyone. I would just make sure your insurance covers them. I was lucky enough to be able to go to them even though my insurance didn't have them on their list. Thank you to everyone at Xcel Collision!

Bob gave me a realistic quote, but more importantly, he took the time to genuinely guide me instead of just trying to sell me on expensive work that didn't make financial sense for my situation. Even though I'm probably not going through the full body shop route, he still went out of his way to explain my options, educate me on the differences between body work vs PDR, referred me to someone he trusted, and even personally vouched for me and texted the guy on my behalf trying to help me out. That level of kindness and authenticity is rare these days. You can tell Bob genuinely cares about people and takes pride in doing things the right way. If I ever needed proper body shop work done in the future, he'd absolutely be one of the first people I'd call. Highly recommend.

This was actually my second time coming here, this time to repair my wife's car. Leandro and his team did a fantastic job keeping me updated the whole way. They even arranged for Enterprise to pick me up within minutes, which made things really convenient. Leandro also called during the repair to keep me posted on the progress.     I got into a car accident 9/25/25 and I use Geico as my insurance. The car was received by Michael…read moreJ's 9/26/24. This repair was done by Michael J's starting October. The damage was on front right side of my car which stemmed from the bumper all the way to the passenger side door. Front window and door was not damaged and there are more details for the repair but I wanted to mention the general idea of the work done. Another thing to note is I drive a 2022 Toyota Rav4 Prime which is relevant because its a recent car and no customizations so the parts should be easily available. Michael J's is also an approved repair shop by Geico so this process should have been seamless. The summary of this negative review is this: The repair took almost 60 days to be completed from dropping my car off at Michael J's lot to driving my car off. I had to pay over an additional month for my car rental which was over $1000. Many things to note but here are some highlights: -My car was in their lot for over 2 days and when the Geico adjuster finally made it onsite, they couldn't find the car which pushed back the adjuster to come back onsite. -I receive 3 calls about signing paperwork to start the work which was difficult since this was my only car. This took 2 days and by the 2nd day, I found out they could have just emailed me instead of have me sign it in person (the first calls they did not tell me this was an option) -I get a total of 2 calls back from Michael J's -I called 6 times asking for status checks -Michael J's had to submit 5 Supplemental estimate requests to Geico I've talked with 2 random shops around San Jose with 4+ star ratings about how much time the work should have taken and just focusing on the time alone, 4-6 weeks was the turnaround time. That's with a buffer for waiting for parts and some adjustments to the estimate. I did my due diligence as well calling the adjuster FOR the repair shop because the repair shop sent in a supplemental estimate that hasn't been addressed for days, I talked with both Geico and Michael J's to see if they can help with car rental or discounts, and I asked them for status checks 1-2 times a week after the first month of not receiving my car. AFTER all of this, I sent an email to both the representative handling my repair for Michael J's and Geico clarifying what happened throughout the whole process to determine if there was someone truly at fault and if so, which party. I sent this email on December, and as of today I have not received any replies from either parties. If anyone is curious about the whole endeavor and wants to know more details, you can ping me and I can send you the email I sent out to them. Overall, the 4.8 star rating for Michael J's is misleading and I will not return to do any repairs with them and would caution anyone planning to work with them to. P.S. I don't want to leave anything out but the person in charge of my repair offered 3 free detailing work for my car to offset the cost I paid for the rental car which I don't need.
