Ed is wonderful! I was in a minor fender bender which resulted in a big dent and scratches on my car. The sun helped the dent to pop out, but the scratches remained. This is one of those "I hope you never need this" reviews lol. Sadly, got into a fender bender. Nobody hurt thankfully but the car needed some work. Insurance listed Fix Auto Santee as one of their partner vendors and Yelp reviews looked good. Overall our experience with Fix Auto Santee was a positive one. Our service representative, Ed, was a pleasant person. He took the time to patiently answer our questions. I'm sure he sees a lot people having to begrudgingly use his services so his welcoming personality helps ease the pain. He took the time to personally address minor scuffs and scratches that were not part of the accident just as part of their service, no additional charge. That was a plus. I used their site and scheduled a quote to get my Tesla tail light fixed after a minor collision. I had gotten quotes for the light plus a very small (presumably cosmetic only) dent and they were near $3K, so I specified I only wanted the light fixed. They called me to confirm what I was asking for and advised me to just go through Tesla which would be faster, and I'm so grateful to them for their honesty. They could have taken advantage and not mentioned this option. Took my truck in for warranty work, loser receptionist dude at the front desk tried telling me a mess of lies like cuz they moved, computer down, owner not there and so on to avoid the work. Owner messaged me several days later and got nowhere. Don't go here if you appreciate your vehicle and need work done to repair damage. They supposedly offer lifetime on paint, but that just means until they switch owners. FOH with that. Then want me to send in paperwork and all sorts of bs to get work done, nah, GFY! My brother who is a mechanic looked at my SUV more closely and immediately spotted some flaws, especially in the quality of the paint job. The major mistake resulted in my car being towed back to the dealer (4 days after I picked it up) because my back rear tire was loose! So I was actually given an unsafe car with a loose wheel that was causing more damage to interior parts. Three lug nuts were not entirely screwed on, and the other two were both cross-threaded and also loose. At the dealership, their mechanics reaffirmed that this could have resulted in an accident or at least much greater damage if I had continued to drive my car. I had my car packed, and was on my way out for a weekend camping trip and was SO thankful my brother caught this when he did, because I could have been stuck out in the middle of nowhere with no cell service and a broken car. Anyways, it's another $1k in repairs. read more

If I could give more stars I would! Fix Auto Santee and their employees are THE BEST! The photos speak for themselves. Their customer service is top Tier. I was updated twice a week on the condition of my vehicle. When there was a issue with the manufacture (fix auto was not at fault), Ed was able to make sure I was appropriately taken care of! And to top it all off my car was detailed interior and out! I hate to admit that my car was very dirty (it's a off road vehicle). I swear, I had to check to see if they replaced my car cause that's how good the repair and the interior cleaning was. I took in my vehicle for a bumper, driver side panel, and headlight repairs, they did a good job on the paint job except that when I went to pick it up I saw that the paint on the hood had been damaged. I went inside and told them about it which they were understanding except for one of the workers made a comment basically saying that I'm making a big deal about it. I also noticed that they did not use the same headlights which I would have been okay with except that they did not let me know they were planning on using a different headlight it's not a big deal to me but definitely would have liked some communication. I would highly recommend that you guys check out your vehicle for any damages or incorrect parts before you leave the parking lot. read more
