Out of all the plumbers and upsellers out there I finally found an honest and fair plumber. Their quote to install a bypass valve was a very reasonable price. Communication was excellent from start of the project all the way until after the install. Nothing but respect for Sam who came out and literally went above and beyond for me. He helped me out a lot and honestly he didn't have to do some of the things he helped me with. He was just a genuinely caring person. I can't say enough about the excellent service that was provided. Sam and I had a few unexpected hurdles to jump over, but each time he came up with a solution on the spot that worked beautifully. Thanks to Sam, I was finally able to finish this project I was involved in. Constant upselliing. They were always on the pricier side but I kept using them because their plumbers did good work. They've always had scheduling problems too. They'll give you a window of time but often the plumbers would arrive late. They were competent at their jobs though. Recently though it feels like they're always trying to sell me something I don't need and the prices are outrageous. They have a VIP monthly package that gets reduced prices but the starting point is so high it doesn't even matter. Not to mention they're constantly trying to sell services you didn't call them for. I've had employees complain to me in private about the owner Sam and how he's become really pushy. I hadn't talked to Sam much before but sure enough, after I told his plumber I didnt want to do all the work that I hadn't called him for, I get a looooong text from Sam trying to talk me into all these extra services. My 25 yo AC stopped working 2 days ago and I was desperate to get someone, and this company had someone availability same day. A tech came out and stated it was capacitor problem and would like to change lines etc. for $750 total. They also offered me a type of repair plan package for $1500 that was applicable towards replacement of my unit. The next day, my usual guy, Marc Wilmers HvAC came and fix the problem for no additional cost other than the service call and it wasn't even a capacitor problem. I've never dealt with someone like this who's trying to sell me plans instead of focusing on fixing the problem. I asked Sam for the $100 service call refund and he didn't return it. This company has been extremely frustrating to deal with, especially since most of us don't have in-depth knowledge about plumbing. My grandparents originally called them just to check for a possible leak. Instead of a simple inspection, the crew came in, "diagnosed" several problems, and then claimed that over $1,500 worth of work was needed to prevent a so-called "major" flood. What makes this so concerning is that my grandparents' home is fairly new it's only 6 years old and we had never experienced any issues before. I came home from college only to discover that now we suddenly have more problems than ever. I witnessed firsthand that we had no water pressure issues prior to their visit, but after their work, all of our faucets now have low pressure and cloudy water. Unfortunately, it feels like they caused more problems than they solved, and it's hard to trust them. It's upsetting that they would take advantage of older people, leaving us with even more expenses to fix the damage they created. Very responsive and flexible with appointments but gouges you in price. This company knew I am a teacher and had to work 3 jobs for over 2 months to get my hvac system repaired and still wouldn't offer me a payment plan. A week after I got my hvac repaired my master tub sprang a leak. $800 later to replace the tub knobs and it's still leaking -- quoted me at at least $2K to come back and fix the entire thing. This is bad business. They know I'm not financially able to do this and charged me EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS for something that wasn't even fixed. And again, did not offer the payment plan after spending $1400 the week prior. They know I'm good for my payment... I do not recommend and will not be using their services again. I appreciated the fast friendly service when I needed two valves replaced for our bathroom sink and a faucet installed. I was dissappointed the estimate came back at just over $1,000.00. When I explained I had two undermount sinks, two faucets and four valves installed for less than that, they called the office and came back with a lower estimate. They said if I purchased a 1 year contract for $77, they could complete the work for $615 plus the $77. I still feel overcharged as I was expecting $300-$400 would be a reasonable fee. After noticing a leak from the kitchen sink, I reached out to multiple plumbers and chose FIF based on the quick and thorough response I received from the owner. A tech was able to come out the next day and wish I would've clarified that it would be the owner coming out. I was told to give the plumber an hour to show from the scheduled time and the tech came out a couple minutes prior to the end of the hour timeframe. The tech recommended that we purchase a new faucet to fix the leak and offered a couple different options. It was a little odd that he contacted his boss(?) while he was here. Probably to give us a 'deal.' Definitely was taken advantage of but that's mainly on me since I don't know jack about any plumbing and cost of appliances. After a month of the new faucet being installed, I noticed there was still a small leak and the base of the faucet was loose. When I messaged the owner to have someone come out to take a look at the faucet, he told me he wouldn't be able to get someone out there soon, but after I told him that we were experiencing other plumbing issues, he told me someone could be out to the house the next day. That would've been great, if they showed up. No call. No plumber. My overall experience with FIF was 'Meh. I've experienced better.' read more

They started out great, then all went down hill. We have been paying a montly fee to be priority customers for years. They came out to check a leak. All they did was put some shims under the dishwasher. shortly after the leak came back. On an appliance repairman's advice, we deceided to get a new dishwasher, asked them to help me disconnect old one and bring it to the crub. Quoted me a price of $289.00 when they finally showed up. my wife and I disconnected the old dishwasher and got it to the curb in 7 minutes. when I called to talk about it, they could not have cared less. Paid all those monthly fees for absolutely nothing. Don't fall it. it's a scam. I am a disabled vet and they wouldn't help me get it out to the curb on my dolly unless I paid them $289.00. The next day when I talked to the owner, He said "Hey we are in the money making business" I would NEVER do business with this comnpany.Now he is lying on yeap to make it seem like he was a great guy . Bottom line is he would not help a disabled vet unless he was paid $289.00. He only cares about money. We had a pipe leak under the house and needed immediate repair. The pipes were 70 years old galvanized pipes, rusted, and corroded. The house is on a raised foundation and it was a wet, muddy mess down there. Ernie came out and provided an estimate and timeline. We were offered a few options by Sam, the owner, on how to reduce the cost including financing and a maintenance program. We agreed to fix the broken pipe first and then to repipe the entire house. Called this company in the morning to get an on-site quote to unclog my bathroom sink and install a new faucet. I requested the quote via yelp and received a response fairly quickly that a plumber could come the same day to review the issue and complete the work. I was happy to see how fast they replied but after the plumber didn't arrive within the appointment window I had to call to see what happened. It was already after 6pm and I was told that they were backed up and may not be able to come till later. The person on the phone advised me to send pictures of the issue and they could give the quote over the phone. It was the day before Thanksgiving and I was having guest so I'm not sure why they didn't ask for these pictures when we setup the appointment it could have saved me a lot of time. In the end I was told it would cost $250 to install my faucet and $79 to clear the clog! I was also advised this price included $20 off yelp discount! I wasn't expecting this price. It was too high for my budget and felt it was price gouging due to my necessity the day before thanksgiving. The person I spoke with at this company was nice about everything but I ended up declining their service and used another plumber the Friday after who only charged $90 to clear the clog and install the faucet. I was amazed at what a huge price difference it was. I originally gave 2 stars for this experience but updated to 3 since the manager replied and offered a free snaking in the future. We had an irrigation drain blockage and called Fix It Fast on Tuesday and they came out and inspected it on Thursday and the hydro jetting was completed on Friday. We were quoted a flat rate for 3.5-4 hours of work. The cost of the project given the hours needed seems pretty reasonable compared with other company's per hour charge. The work was done in 2 hours time, but we still ended up paying the initial quote based on 3-4 hours. Had I known the true time of the repair, we probably would have gone with another provider. Quality of work was great and the technician was super helpful and very clean. I was walked through everystep and even provided with a few tips on how to prevent future blockages. Everything was swept up and hose down when the job a was completed. I would recommend this company for the quality of work just be careful of their flat rate pricing. read more

Spoke to Sam on a Sunday AM and explained hundreds of gallons of water were leaking down to the street. I was able to dig down and determine the major leak where the PVC joint in the water main (probably 40-50 years old) to the house had separated. I knew it was out of my league. I shut the water off at the street/meter but Jose came to the rescue. He worked for 4-5 hrs. to rebuild the network of corroded pipes for the set fee that I was quoted. To his credit, Sam was a stand up guy about the mistake they had made and offered me a credit for future work. I can't speak to their service quality because I had to go with a different plumber due to time constraints, but I appreciate and respect their honesty and willingness to make amends for the error. Here's the original review: Requested a quote through Yelp and Sam responded, but the phone number in the response was missing a digit. With the business name, I tracked down their full phone number through Yelp to make an appointment a few days later to do some repairs on my sprinkler valves. No one showed up during the two hour window, so I called them, and they claimed they didn't have my appointment on the books. I've had two lingering issues: one minor, one somewhat major. I decided that whoever handles the minor issue well would be deserving of the more complex job. Sam quickly responded and came out to offer an estimate. Instead of talking me into a more expensive option (which three other plumbers attempted to do), he recommended just repairing the existing valve (others never said it was possible to repair) that would save me money. Since his price was very competitive I opted for a more expensive option to replace the valve. He asked a few times if I was sure. When is the last time a plumber wanted to save you money? His repairman was fast and clean. Job well done! Onto a more complex job. We were told by previous plumbers that we had to have our sewer line replaced. Sam busted out his pipe snake camera and showed me the issue with my sewer line. Did he tell me that I need a whole new sewer line? Nope. Told me he can just spot fix the issue which again would save me money. Gave an excellent quote, set the appointment for the following Monday and was exactly on time. 4 hours later spot repair done! I contacted Fix it Fast on Wednesday for them to come out and fix my leaking kitchen sink. They told me they were working on a big job and could not come out until Friday afternoon at 2pm. I said no problem and I took a half day off at work just to be able to give them enough time to fix anything major if needed. It is now Friday afternoon and I have called them several times to try to get an answer on when they would be coming out Every time I call after 1 minute of being on hold it goes straight to there voicemail. After this experience I will never call them again. They made me miss a half day at work and they didn't even show up. They have horrible customer service. I have now contacted another plumbing company and have to wait an extra day. Update. The owner reached out to me after writing this review and sent someone to come out. He did the job professionally and was very nice. The price was still very expensive even with a discount.
