    I chose this company to install new HVAC systems in my home approximately one year ago and have…read moremaintained a service agreement with them for several years. The issue that ultimately caused me to end the relationship was not a major equipment failure, nor was it about the cost of a repair. It was about trust. One of the return air grilles installed as part of the new HVAC installation cannot be closed and latched without applying significant force due to interference between the latch and the frame. I raised this issue during the last two scheduled maintenance visits following the installation, provided photographs, and explained my concerns regarding long-term operation and safety. The grille serves as an access point for routine filter replacement and is located in an upstairs hallway immediately adjacent to an open two-story foyer. Routine filter changes and grille operation therefore require the use of a ladder in close proximity to a significant vertical drop. Given that this maintenance task will be performed repeatedly over the 15-20 year life of the system, I believe the grille should operate smoothly and without excessive force. During both maintenance visits, I was told that the condition was acceptable. When I later provided photographs and requested an estimate to correct the issue, the company provided a quote of approximately $330. The dollar amount was never the issue. In fact, the relatively modest cost of the repair only reinforced my disappointment. What concerned me was that a readily observable and repeatable operational issue was consistently treated as an acceptable operating condition rather than as a workmanship concern worthy of further consideration. To me, the grille itself is not the real issue. It simply became the reason I began questioning the company's workmanship standards and willingness to stand behind its work. If there is disagreement over a readily observable and repeatable operational issue that can be experienced, photographed, and evaluated, it naturally raises questions about the quality of work that is not visible to the homeowner. Whether those concerns are ultimately justified or not, trust is an essential part of any long-term service relationship. My dissatisfaction is not with any single interaction but with the company's consistent position that this condition is acceptable and its unwillingness to take ownership of a concern that I believe reflects its workmanship standards. As a result, I have decided to cancel my maintenance agreement and move my business elsewhere. There are many HVAC companies available, and I prefer to work with one that demonstrates a stronger commitment to standing behind its work and maintaining customer confidence.

Mark deployed to my home and went straight to work, quickly absorbing the situation and what I had learned thus far. Mark was followed by some of his teammates, when it was determined this would require troubleshooting from multiple points in the home simultaneously. I was fearing the worst, running through expensive possibilities in my mind. Throughout the entire troubleshooting process, the team was highly communicative and never tried to upsell me on anything that was not short of necessary. As the team diligently narrowed it down to unusual behavior from a culprit wire and elegantly solved the problem, I was certain I picked the right HVAC company. The other HVAC companies quoted us a 4 ton unit to replace the 5 ton unit that was existing on our house and I would not have realized that the unit wasn't big enough without Gary pointing out that fact. I would have been very upset if we had purchased a new unit and it didn't heat and cool my house well. We ordered the new top quality, 5 ton American Standard HVAC unit at a great value and Andrade had their professional install crew out within a week to do the install. I still can't believe those guys got it all done in one day and it works great! I am a very happy customer and that is something that seems I don't get to say often these days.     well, it was going to be another Hot day...105 or more. Saturday morning, we both noticed the air…read morewasn't as cool as it has been. I went outside to check the compressor and it was not working. We kept hearing like a buzzing sound and it was coming from the compressor. The company that installed our ac unit retired and another company took it over. So we called them. They said they would not be able to come out until four days later. I agreed but kept on calling. I called Patterson heating and air and had to leave a message. But, not to worry, right? It says the will return our call within three hours. I kept on calling. Next, I contacted Arctic Air. The lady that answered said she could have someone out later that afternoon, between three and five. Of course, I jumped on this. A couple of hours later, no, it wasn't Patterson, it was Arctic. They said a service team could be out there within a half hour...this was 2 and a half hours sooner than I was originally quoted. I wish I would have gotten a name...but the team came, I showed them what I thought was wrong and in 15 minutes...the system was working and they were gone. Now if this isn't service...what is? I called the first place to tell them my ac was repaired and wouldn't need them. Arctic told me that a four day wait was not out of line. And I understood this. I knew with the heat wave we were experiencing, there would be many households calling for help. Oh..and Patterson? They called two days later...and said that they were returning my call that I had made the day before....NO Patterson, it was two days before!

    They did eventually take care of finalizing the permit for me like I requested. It took a long time…read morewith multiple attempts and I had to escalate this to the Better Business Bureau, the state licensing department etc in order to get their attention and for them to take care of this. If they had just taken care of everything right away like they should have, I would have updated my experience rating to 4 1/2 star.
