CROOKS! The service department and the managment staff of Flagstaff Nissan Sabaru Dealership, i.e. Cory, GM David and owner, Trent Olson are CROOKS! Since 2014 to current; they are committing consumer fraud; they are having a negative impact in the Flagstaff community! Buyers stay away from this dealership!!! in case their is a future class action law suit! All past, present and future victims should immediately add their complaint to the growing list with AZ Attorney Generals office (and other agencies), regarding their dishonest business practices and classic used car salesman tactics. (See recent relavent ABC Nissan Class Action settlement on AG website). I purchased a used defective/lemon vehicle from this dealership (they knew it). I first tried to get the main issue fixed immediately (water in the oil) the day after purchase. This ongoing issue and others, continue to date and were never fixed under warranty and after countless repair attempts by them. They've used stall tactis until the warranty has expired. They also intentionally concealed all previous maintenance records on the vehicle. I did not receive them until four (4) months later! Hmmm...wonder why? Those previous records showed Oil in the Water and Water in the Oil; This is where the guessing games began; first they tried a radradiator flush that didn't work! Then they tried changing the head gasket; nope failed again! There was still "water in the oil"; so then they tried changing the oil too many times to count; they recently blamed/guessed it on the oil dip stick and tried replacing it; they were lost! Now I know why they took four (4) months to turn-over the records to me (used car salesman tactics). It's currently 15 months later, the owner claims (after their many failed attempts/guesses) the warranty has expired and he refuses to fix my vehicle! I am a single woman; and they are treating me like I dont know any better! This vehicle is my only form of transportation; which I purchased for my new business in Flagstaff. This dealership has left me stranded and financially frustrated. They continue to have an arrogant, careless attitude! CROOKS! read more

I have bought many cars in my life. I don't lease, I purchase. I don't want to be told to lease, I don't want to hear the "L" word when I am at a dealership to purchase a car. I don't want to waste hours of time being pressured into a deal or car that I don't want. And, Flagstaff Subaru came through for me. This was absolutely the most amazing car buying experience I've ever had in my life. No pressure, no haggling. In fact, it was kind of fun. The Sales Professional, Andrew Smith, listened to me and addressed my needs every step of the way. I had a budget, a price range, a car that I wanted (hoped for), and he delivered. Even when I walked away the first day, after only 1-1/2 hours, saying that I wanted to "think about it," he didn't push me to buy anything right there and then. I really don't have words for how wonderful this car buying experience was, other than to highly recommend Flagstaff Subaru, and Andrew Smith, for your next car buying experience. Mind you, I WANTED a Subaru Crosstrek...been wanting one for years. I got one! 2016, 35,000 miles, 1 owner, and $2 less per month than I was willing to spend. People who see my "used" car are in awe, because they are hard-pressed to see it as "used." When I finally decided to purchase the car I told Andrew that I wanted the paperwork ready so that I could get in and out of the dealership quickly, as I am self-employed and an hour's drive away from the dealership. I walked in, and was out of there in an hour! Amazing. I have spent more than five hours at other dealerships in my life with unsatisfactory experiences. Andrew Smith is kind, forthright, no BS, and he's also a military Veteran. My deepest appreciation to Andrew, (thank you for your service), and a shout out to Sales Manager, Grant Holy, as well. I will definitely look to Flagstaff Subaru for any future car purchases, and am already recommending them (and Andrew Smith) to my friends. P.S. My neighbor said he loved my car. I needed to replace my Outback with a newer one. There weren't many newer Suburus being sold privately, so I stopped by Flagstaff Nissan Suburu. Travis, the salesman, was not pushy at all as he patiently showed me what options they had for newer used Suburus (and I watched several recently bought new and used Suburus leave for new homes while I was there). Travis patiently answered all my questions and even helped me "test out" some eccentric needs I have (ie, Will my little kayak still fit INSIDE if I don't feel like loading it ontop? The back seems shorter inside; can I still sleep in there when too lazy to set up a tent? It does and I can)!!! I chose my car and started talking prices (chose the 2015 since it is 5-6 inches longer and mpg is 27-33). I have checked online to see what fair prices are for this base model 2015 Outback and I was pleased to see that the price set was what I had hoped for. I was even MORE pleased to see what they gave me for trade-in value for my old Outback -- reducing the final price significantly. The thing that has impressed me MOST is the way I have been treated since I bought the car. Travis took 2 hours on his day off to teach me (a slow learner) all the new functions in my new car. He gave me his cell phone number and said to call at ANY time with questions and I have. He always answers and patiently answers my questions. He even drove the old car to the bike mechanics and -- with the help of the mechanic's master Yakima key -- removed the bike racks from my old car and gave them to me. People in both parts and service have also been very helpful as I have asked questions about new parts and putting accessories from my old Outback onto my new Outback (especially Nate and Mimi). read more

In Flagstaff the day after Labor Day with an inoperable windshield washer, I contacted Flagstaff Subaru for a service appointment ('Shea' or 'Shay') that day, as my wife was expected to be released from hospital and we would drive home (about a 100 miles) the following day. Understandably, the service department was booked solid after the long holiday weekend. However, in sympathy with my situation, Shea said I could be accommodated the following morning if I were flexible. With that understanding, I gratefully accepted a mid-morning appointment, as my wife would require an additional day of recovery. At NO CHARGE (thanks again, Dustin!), Flagstaff Subaru fixed the problem (by reconnecting the disconnected windshield washer line, a relatively simple fix), performed an 'express 28-point inspection', topped off fluids (including windshield washer fluid), inspected brakes, tires, bulbs, battery and engine area, installed temporary floor and seat coverings for the service technician, and washed the car, while my pet and I waited in a very welcoming, pet-friendly customer lounge furnished with comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, wi-fi and TV. I initially experienced this dealership's customer-first, at-any-cost philosophy when I purchased my Outback there three years earlier (best car I've ever owned!) and have had the car serviced there once before to my complete satisfaction. In fact, I'll likely make an excuse to justify the 200-mile round-trip for future, scheduled servicing. (For our tastes, my wife and I discovered the best pizza ever in Flagstaff, and isn't that a good excuse?) read more

I go here all the time to get both of my Subarus and my Nissan serviced there. I must say that I haven't been to a dealership that has a cooler group of people. Usually when you walk into a dealership everyone wants to just make a sale but here it's something different. You do get the one or two people that ask what you are looking for but nobody pushes you to buy anything if you tell them no. Nothing like the Toyota dealership next door. Their service department I find is the same way. If they think something should be changed out they'll call me and tell me whats going on and then ask me what I want to do about it. They don't just go and spend all my hard earned cash on that cabin filter like the other dealers. On top of this they also help an appreciation day of sorts and invited people out to join them for a bbq! I'm working at the North Rim this summer and drove my old Honda (260,000+ miles) out from Georgia. It started giving me some trouble so I decided to stop and check out Flagstaff Subaru and see if they had any options that would fit within my budget. I was greeted by Jason Morrett who quickly learned what I was looking for and showed me a few cars that would fit. He was there to be helpful and wasn't pushy at all. After taking a test drive I decided to go ahead and start the paperwork. My girlfriend and I had just arrived in Flagstaff for a weekend getaway. After stopping at a restaurant, our Subaru failed to start when we tried to leave to get to our house rental. We thought we were stranded with a hot car full of our luggage and food for the weekend. Fortunately, Jon from the local Subaru dealership happened to pull into the parking space next to us. Seeing our hood open, he politely asked if he could help. He took his personal time to look at the car, diagnose the issue and attempt to fix it on-site. When that didn't work, he called the dealership's service department, and someone came to our parking lot with the part he needed. They had us on our way quickly after that. In January 2020 I had a bad experience with an employee who turned me away an hour before closing, citing my Chevy as an "over an hour job." In April 2020 I finally went back and they totally redeemed themselves. The appointment scheduler is back, so I scheduled my oil change online 3 days in advance. I showed up about 15 min early, but they were able to get me in and out in 30 mins. With Covid-19 going around, the lobby and restroom were very clean and I saw them cleaning door handles frequently. We got our Subaru Forester a week before we left on vacation. We were heading towards Santa Fe and hit a road hazard that blew out our tire. AAA put our little spare that came with our car and we headed back 30 miles to Flagstaff at 50 miles an hour with trucks honking at us. Chris and Emily in the service took great care of us. We are on a cross-country trip from Nashville to Oregon and had a truck lose part of a tire right in front of us this morning. We couldn't avoid running over it and heard it hit the underside of our 2019 Subaru Ascent. We were about 50 miles east of Flagstaff so called to see if they could take a look at our vehicle. They told us to come in as soon as we could. They got us in immediately after we arrived, did a complete inspection of the underside and told us there didn't appear to be any serious damage. Corey was an absolutely delightful to work with! My car was stuck outside of the Grand Canyon on Saturday night. Since Nissan was closed on Sunday, we went to Nissan first thing Monday morning. Originally, the parts were supposed to come in on Wednesday, but when Wednesday came, the part was actually in backorder so it was impossible to know the ETA of the part. Corey searched for hours and finally found the part needed in California and got it shipped to Arizona the next day!
