I had the best experience with Kaitie at Flair! First, the space is amazing and immediately feels welcoming. The team member who checked us in was so warm and brought us right to our private area to meet with our consultant, Kaitie. I had a list of dresses that I wanted to try, and she pulled those and a couple of ones I hadn't thought of. Kaitie was so helpful both fitting the dresses to perfection, but also really hearing what I liked and didn't like about every one. The shop is deceivingly deep in styles and designers, and with Kaitie's help I felt like I was able to try a plethora of different silhouettes. We landed on a dress that was not in my initial "lineup", but once I had it on I knew it was perfect for me, all thanks to Kaitie and the Flair team! The whole appointment was fun and celebratory, but I also felt incredibly heard and taken care of. Finding my dress at Flair was a wonderful experience. Above all else, Kaitie's guidance and advice was truly amazing and honestly unmatched across the six bridal stores I went to in total. Kaitie Silk at Flair is especially good at what she does- this girl was born to help brides find their perfect dress. She is your consultant, a total visionary, and a hype girl. She genuinely cares about each customer she works with and even helped me with coordinating an amazing tailor after my purchase. She made me laugh, helped to smooth out my nerves, and my mom, future MIL, and I all walked away from my appointment feeling like we had struck gold when we got her as our consultant. The team knows the wedding industry inside and out and work very closely with the designers they bring into the shop. They even let me come back to try on my dress while I waited for my shipment to remind myself how much I liked the dress. There are so many elements that go into finding a dress, just like planning a wedding. You want to work with a team who will help you through the blips and knows what they are doing, because inevitably they will happen. If you get a bad vibe from a shop, don't chance it, no matter how beautiful the dress is. It's just not worth it. Highly recommend Flair and my consultant Katie S. I had a wonderful experience there last week looking for a wedding dress. Flair was my third dress appointment of the day and I arrived having just found a dress I adored at my previous appointment. When Katie asked me if I had been dress shopping before I was honest with her that I had other appointments earlier and had found a strong contender. She was so professional and helpful. She asked if she could see a photo of the contender so she could get a sense of my style and pull some options in my budget. She proceeded to pull many beautiful dresses that were right in my style and price range. She was very knowledgeable and had a wonderful selection of dresses in the shop, and she was extremely respectful and not at all pushy or salesy. However nothing was quite lighting me up the way the dress I had found earlier that day had. When I was wearing one of the dresses she had pulled (which was my favorite of all of them) she noticed this and said "you look like you're studying this dress, not wearing it. I think you've already found your dress and you need to go get it!" What a wonderful response! She treated me with the utmost respect, and superior customer service and I am very grateful for that. I had such a fun experience at Flair, and they have a unique and beautiful selection. I visited almost every bridal shop in Boston (including: l'elite, Musette, Pronovias, Firas Yousif, Floravere, I Do Wedding, and Ceremony) and tried on well over 50 gowns. I found 3 dresses at Flair that I was absolutely in love with. Two of them were a toss up for my wedding, and one was in consideration for my rehearsal dinner. It was hard to choose! I cannot say enough good things about Flair. This was my first experience shopping for wedding dresses--and my last, thanks to my consultant Zoe. She was fun, friendly, listened to every single one of my requests, and was able to pick up on specific things I was feeling and thinking to help me narrow down my search as I tried on over 10 dresses during my visit. The dress I decided on was one I never would have initially picked for myself, but Zoe knew what I was gravitating towards and what I was looking for in a dress, and ended up pulling the perfect gown for me. It's also important to note that she did not pull anything even marginally above my budget without asking me first if that was something I was okay with. The salon takes amazing precautions in these COVID times, as well. We all had masks on, and the gowns are steamed in between each try-on. I would recommend Flair to any bride! read more

The workers at Flair could not have been more helpful in helping me find my dream dress! I went in thinking I knew what I wanted and Katie, my stylist helped me pick a dress I absolutely loved but probably would have never tried on my own! Everyone that works there was extremely helpful and made me feel so confident as I tried on the dresses (something I don't like doing!). Then my dress was delivered exactly when they said it would be and I used one of their recommendations for where to get the dress altered and was extremely impressed. I wasn't thrilled with this experience. For the $350+ bridesmaid dress I bought, I expected the service to be more personal and tailored. The salesperson had pulled 2 dresses for me in advance, and afterward I browsed alone, asking about prices and if they had gowns I liked in the right color. I had difficulty soliciting an opinion from the salesperson past everything "looking nice." I'd come alone and needed a second opinion, and I think she didn't really care: it certainly didn't feel like it. When I picked up the dress, they opened the door of their "elite" studio, handed me a shopping bag, and closed the door in my face. I was there in June for a September wedding, and despite them assuring me that I'd have PLENTY of time to get everything tailored at the tailor they partner with, here I am, 6 hours before flying internationally for the wedding, picking up my tailored dress. I'll definitely be going elsewhere for my wedding needs, especially since Flair is not an exclusive retailer for the most popular brands. This was a major bummer. read more

Omg I wish I could rate 10 stars!! Lauren and Liz made me feel so comfortable and incredible when trying on dresses. I was nervous going into the appointment due to being a plus size girl, but they had it all figured out before I even got there. I've heard horror stories from friends about not being treated well at other bridal shops due to being a curvier woman. This was absolutely NOT the case at Flair! The only stress I felt on that day was deciding which of the gorgeous dresses was the one! I went in to the appointment with my eye on a specific long sleeve lace dress and ended up going with a sleeveless Hayley Paige design. I met with her at my first ever visit trying on dresses, and then two weeks later, after we exchanged a few emails and few links of my revised vision, I returned and ultimately found my dress! I visited a total of 4 salons, and Zoe was the only consultant who I felt totally comfortable working with, she put me at ease, and even though I'm not the type to wear dresses (EVER) she was not only able to listen to me, but read my level of comfort in any dress given my body language. I visited Flair this past weekend and did not feel comfortable in my appointment. My stylist was rude to the attendant(who was extremely friendly and helpful) and the tension between the two was so apparent. I personally felt the stylist rushed the appointment and pressured me into a dress. I have been debating leaving this review since I tried dresses on back in December. I had a Friday evening appointment and invited 3 girlfriends along. I had a very good idea of what I wanted- simple, no lace, no sequins, no embellishments. So that narrowed down the search a ton but I knew that going in. This was my first ever time trying on wedding dresses so I was excited to start the search. We had a quickish engagement of 8 months. So I knew I was on a time crunch. I can't remember my consultants name but I believe it started with a K. She brought in 3 dresses and they were the simple style I was looking for. As she is zipping up the first dress she says to me "You know you're friends are talking shit about you". My response "oh yeah saying what?" Honestly I didn't care what she had to say after that because why was she trying to pin my friends against me?! I guess they were just saying I wouldn't like the simple style. But hello.... you don't say that to someone who is trying their first ever wedding dress on or EVER! From there I had a bad taste in my mouth. I over heard her tell one of my friends to please not look through the rack because she had already straightened them up for the night. The dresses were great and I was close to pulling the trigger.... you know why I didn't ... because of this: She stated to me that if I didn't buy today there wouldn't be a good chance I would get my dress in time because a lot of the designers get their fabric from China and Chinese New Years (February) all the factories shut down. Like way to make me feel less stressed. I left not purchasing a single thing and so glad I didn't. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I heard the owner is better but she needs to reevaluate this consultant. read more

I said "NO" to all the dresses at Flair, and that is ok. But I also have to say "NO" to my consultant, who seemed pretty bored. I showed up at Flair, and started browsing through the racks for their dresses. My consultant was nice, but looked like she was just doing the basics of her job- clipping the dress, helping you change etc. I didn't like any of the dresses that I had tried, and asked my consultant if there were any other similar dresses with my preferences in mind. Hesitated to write this because I never write bad reviews but now that a day has passed, I'm still ruminating about what a terrible experience I had at Flair and can't help but put it down in words. I just started dress shopping yesterday, so I am still fairly early in the process of figuring out what style of dress I want. The bridal consultant who assisted me had a drill sergeant attitude and expected that I'd be holding a "yes to the dress" sign after trying on ~6 dresses within my strictly 1 hour appointment (which actually ended up being only 40 min...). I started trying on dresses and when my mom took a picture, she instantly made my mom feel bad for doing so. When I explained that taking pictures of the dresses was part of my process for finding a dress, she became defensive and then uncomfortably silent/passive aggressive for the remainder of my appointment. I am certainly not going to be rushed into making any multi-thousand dollar purchase, and buying a wedding dress is no exception. Wedding dress shopping is supposed to be an exciting, special, once in a lifetime experience (and the two bridal shops I went to earlier in the day helped create that experience for me), and yet I left Flair feeling upset and hopeless. Comically, the bridal consultant expects that I'll be back to say "yes" to one of the dresses I liked. Even if I do end up deciding upon that dress, I'll find somewhere else to buy it because I will not be returning. read more

Great experience at Flair last Saturday. With Sarah R. in tow with Jamie A and Jordan L., we descended upon the small third floor shop that is appointment only. And when they say appointment, they mean it. As soon as we got there, another group was leaving and we had the whole place to ourselves. They helped try the dresses on my bridesmaids, were very generous with the swatch selections and were overall very positive. The styles were modern and they had a lot of variety to pick from. I found two dresses that looked killer and got the information. They were more than helpful and though it took some time and a game of phone tag to secure the appointment, I appreciated that I had 30 minutes in the small shop to spend trying on a variety of dresses on Sarah & Jamie. Let's just say, getting two girls to take their clothes off over and over again has never been so fun. --- Update: Well, we decided to go with the dresses form Coren Moore! They really are adorable. They even let us sneak into the studio after someone's appointment ended early to let Emma and Sarah try on the dresses again. Woohoo. The Flair salespeople have been super helpful and organized about getting back to me and my bridesmaids about what size to order (based on their measurements). You can email or fax in your order form, which I thought was nice and they're always friendly and quick in corresponding with me while I'm at work (since I can't always chat on the phone). I had such a positive experience working with Kaitie to find my wedding dress. I had been to another bridal salon earlier the same day and thought I found the perfect dress. She was not scheduled to be in the shop that day as she was supposed to be moving apartments but she came in just for us to accommodate my mother's work schedule. I visited Flair on Saturday to find a dress for my wedding in 3 months. This is very little time to find a dress! Other places I've visited were kind panicking but Kaitlyn was amazing!! She's very organized and practical and immediately had a plan: She asked about my style, showed me a few dresses and before having me try them on made sure she could order it for me within the timeframe we are working with. She also is an absolute pro at clipping the sample size wedding dresses so they look perfect on your body as if they are your size. This is a real art!! I told her what I hated about most wedding dresses (weird horizontal or vertical seams around the butt for the train) and she explained to me why those are there and showed me how it would look if the dress fit me perfectly. aka she clipped the dress on the front for me so I could see the back better. I've been wedding dress hunting since last year and have visited pretty much all stores in and around San Francisco and now Boston. Nobody else has ever done this but if they had, I'd probably chosen a dress already.. Lastly Kaitlyn is super personable and fun to work with. I'd highly recommend every bride to visit Flair.
