    Mini Chicken Bowl
    Zarifa A.

Flame Broiler is a great choice for a quick, affordable, healthier meal. During my last visit, I got a mini chicken bowl with brown rice, veggies, and avocado. I enjoyed it and the portion size was perfect for me. If you want more flavor, you can ask for extra sauce on the side but I actually enjoyed the lightness of it as is. They do have a spicy sauce though (I forgot the name), but I highly recommend getting that if you enjoy spicy foods! It has a decent kick to it and it made me bowl taste even better. This location is located in a pretty large plaza, so finding parking was not an issue when I went. It's a fast food place, so everything is pretty casual which is to be expected. Service here is friendly.

The food here is mediocre at best for a quick bite. As someone with a couple years of customer service experience, however, there is one particular staff, Mariam C. , who is unreasonably unaccommodating when taking order. I had asked for a mini bowl with veggies and rice explicitly, and when receiving said bowl without vegetables, had asked to just get the veggies with my bowl. However, instead of being accommodating to a small mistake, she instead retorted that she'd have to charge $5 for a side of veggies ( the bowl itself is $8 ). I understand policy, but holding your ground over simple vegetables reads a little excessive and lead to me having an overall dissatisfied experience. But hey if you'd like to be gaslit on a fine Tuesday, Mariam is your gal! ***side note: especially when she's working, the portion control on the rice and meat is inconsistent, making me question the macros as well.

Two times in a row now I've ordered the chicken bowl and got 90% rice and 10% chicken. Not going back for a third time.

One word: OBSESSED!…read more I absolutely love CAVA bowls (and especially love this location!). They're perfect for when I'm on my way home from work and craving a bowl with a little bit of everything. My photo of the bowl I typically get doesn't even do it justice because they pack so much food into every bowl! I always get the build-your-own bowl with saffron basmati rice, tzatziki, harissa, Crazy Feta (this is a MUST-TRY), grilled steak (+$3.75), corn, pickled onions, tomato + onion, sumac cabbage slaw and pita crisps. I always get my sauces on the side, and my favorites to add are the garlic dressing and skhug! CAVA is great because the food is always fresh and well-stocked, especially during peak lunch and dinner hours. Their portions are so generous, and the staff is always great about listening when you want extra of a specific ingredient. They're also attentive about keeping the dining area clean and ready for customers. I used to be a Chipotle stan, but ever since I tried CAVA, I can't go back. CAVA is truly unmatched compared with its competitors!

They offer brown and white rice as a base. The proteins are steak, chicken, and tofu. Everything is fresh and flavorful. I loved the fact you get hummis and sauces. Everything is excellent. The only issue was they charge $3.50 for steak, not posted, and $4.00 for grilled veggies. You have to ask if something costs more, and here, it does. Overall, a great place for lunch.

Compared to Shake Shack the Burger just seemed larger and tastier, but of course it was more expensive. We would easily choose MOOYAH over Shake Shack regularly if they would come in a little bit lower priced or at least offered the kind of promotions and coupons that shake shack offers. I got a veggie burger which was excellent, it's become one of my favorites, prefer this one way more than shake shack,. We also got the Oreo milk shake, our kids loved it, it didn't last long, every drop was gone in minutes. Hope to come back again soon.

It kind of reminds me of Five Guys, but the meat tastes fresher and more grass-fed, it does not feel as overpriced, and there are more options for cheeses and toppings. I also like the surprisingly generous portions of fried potatoes, whether you get the French fries or potato chips. I only have one big issue with Mooyah, though: they oversalt the hell out of the fried potatoes. It is especially bad with the homemade potato chips, which really sucks because I can tell they are homemade. Unfortunately, when I order online, I do not have the option to request no salt. This is frustrating because I like to control my sodium intake, and I do not get any real say in how much salt is put on my potatoes. I clearly get an overload of salt whenever I eat fried potatoes here. Otherwise, I like this spot. I just have to be prepared to get a small size of fried potatoes for my body's sake, sodium-wise.

I was wondering why they called it a slider rather than a sandwich and I think I understood when I got the order. The chicken slider is a little smaller than a chicken sandwich elsewhere -- but not tiny, and certainly larger than a standard beef slider. The tender, on the other hand, was much bigger than I expected. The chicken on the slider and the tender was cooked really well. It's made to order, so when you pick it up, it's piping hot. The crust is very crispy and the meat very tender and juicy. I ordered them as medium spicy and it was just right for me. Not very spicy at all, but you can definitely taste a little bit. Some people might want more and might consider this more of a mild. If you want noticable kick you should order more than medium. The fries were pretty good, and while I normally don't really like pickles in my burgers, it worked really well with the fried chicken. I'm definitely coming back.
