I GOT BEEF w/ FB's BULGOGI... it's very underwhelming considering how good the other meats are at Flame Broiler. The meat was perfectly cooked but lacked flavor. It wasn't sweet or savory in my opinion. You know something's up when the brown rice is the best part of the meal. The veggies also tasted good, but the main attraction was lacking. The service was fine... we explicitly told the dudes not to put avocado in our food (except for one meal) and they decided to include avocado in ALL the meals. It was kind of frustrating considering the food was already missing the mark. We got a of couple drinks to accompany our dinner. The place is clean, it's a nice FB and has space to relax with friends. I've come here before and I particularly liked their chicken. I think I'm going to stick with that next time. read more

Eh, this place is aight. If I was a gym bro, I'd come here every day. The menu is very basic. Protein, rice, vegetable. The chicken is decent but nothing above average. The order-taker was nice. The ambiance is pretty shabby. The interior remind me of a rundown gas station that hasn't been renovated since 2002. This Flame Broiler has been such a let down the past 3 times I've been here. At this point, I'm going to go to other locations because this one has just caused me issues time and time again. I've ordered online using their website a few times. One time I ordered an all white meat chicken bowl with no sauce, no rice, just veggies. I was on a specific diet where I was unable to eat rice. I even called the store to make sure that they received my order correctly and there would be no rice in my bowl. I get home and there are NO veggies and you guessed it! Rice! Tonight we tried to give them another go. We ordered our bowls with our desired accommodations. We even AGAIN double checked to see if they entered the order in correctly (due to our previous experiences). We got in the car, checked our orders, and we got exactly the opposite we asked for. We had to go back and get the orders fixed. At least this time we realized before we drove home. When we did get home and eat our food, the meat was burnt to a crisp. It literally just tasted like burnt chunks of meat. On top of that, the employee helping us was hacking into his hand and then was touching utensils, cups, and lids. It was just overall a very bad experience. I'm not sure what is going on since this Flame Broiler has some great reviews. It's just very frustrating to go out and pay for food and not only not get what you ordered, but have to waste time getting your order corrected and then it doesn't even taste good. It's a waste of money and time. read more

I got a chicken bowl with avocado. The portion size was was small, could have been at least more rice. I have ate here before and they are consistent with small portions when compared to other flame broilers. The chicken was over cooked, had to spit out half of the chicken. Better off going to waba grill down the street, more for your money. read more

The veggies are crunch which I love because I can't stand soggy veggies. We got to try all 4 sauces since we bought 2 bowls...none of them are spicy. Maybe it's my tolerance for all things HOT? Idk. My food was extremely burnt and the girl at the register explained several times "it's not burnt its char" corporate just recently trained us on how we are supposed to be cooking the food. Hmmm BURNT! And put a little baby bite of rice when running low on it. Bad training corporate like this I bet you will be loosing more customers than making them. I strongly advise if hungry don't order your food from here because trust that you will be unhappy,disappointed and still hungry since you probably won't eat it. read more

Got two mini bowls yesterday and the chicken was burnt as heck! This isn't the first time I've ordered from this location and getting burnt meat! Very upsetting when it's our damn money we are spending on burnt food while the cook and cashier are over there talking to girls while I was waiting for my food. Workers were nice but food wasn't at all. Upset I don't have my receipt to get a refund. Def would recommend going to another Flame boiler or even go to dang Waba grill, they don't burn their meat as often as this location! read more

Came here to get food, at 6 pm all the girls who were working were complaining about working, and the phone ringing I get it girl your tired so am I! That's why I'm here getting food! Where you work where you should be thankful you even have a job, won't come back to this location the management here needs to train there employees to shut up and do there damn job! Flame Broiler took over the old Coffee Bean location. This location offers indoor and outdoor seating. Which is great, because I've seen this place get really swamped during peak lunch rush hours. Parking can also be a little difficult at times, but you can always park at the Sam's Club lot and walk right over. It's only a hop and a skip away. Flame Broiler bowls are the way to go. The plates are about a buck more, but who needs the small side salad and the slice of orange any way? =) Put that dollar towards an extra side of meat. I find myself always being left with way more rice than meat. I believe it's $1.50 for an extra side of chicken and $2.50 for the beef. You can also substitute the white rice for brown rice, which really isn't too bad. One thing is for sure, make sure to hook your bowl up with the magic sauce. It's almost like a hybrid between soy sauce and teriyaki sauce. It's fantastic! The hot sauce is also reminiscent of srirachi sauce. Good stuff! read more

I don't live in the area but have been here before. The couple of times I have been here, I have gotten a great deal on food because they had bowl specials. On this visit I bought a mini tofu bowl and a medium chicken bowl with a drink included. The total was $13.25, not bad for feeding two people. I don't know if these restaurants are franchised but the very first time I have ever eaten at a flame broiler, was here and I bought a bowl for under $6. Anyway while I was there the cashier was very helpful and I noticed him cleaning the dining area including the condiment section, that's a good sign! DO NOT COME HERE! Period! First of all this place is very inconsistent. I have gave them three try's and every time they seem to mess up my order. Food is not fresh and is not cooked to order. My food feels as if it was microwaved. I took a bite into my chicken and hit a bone. How the hell do I hit a bone at flame broilers. This is not kfc. Another thing to note, the service is not the best. The guys taking your order are pretty hard of hearing it seems because I have had to repeat my order multiple times just to get them to hear me. Then he brings my order to the wrong table leaves it then realizes it's not their order then goes and picks it up and brings to my table so damn gross. I thing I can say that is good, is the location is quiet. I guess with the level of service they provide I can see why. Ok well I have to get back to my cold food now. read more

Just spent $26.00, for 2 people, which seems excessive for a regular take out place for 2 people. I ask for extra reg sauce when i placed my order (since you cant get it your self), server said no problem. When i received the food, there wasn't the extra sauce that I asked for, (the sauces that were provided had about an ounce in each one at most), when I ask the server for more she said they weren't allowed to give more than 2 and rudely stated, and besides that we are running low...meanwhile they are selling 10oz bottles (appx) of the stuff for $6.00 a bottle at the counter, and there was a lot of bottles. Expressed to her that I didnt think that was very good customer service. Found lil shards of what appeared to be tiny chicken bones or possible just small pieces of really hard, burnt chicken. Not a very good experience here. Although over price, the 1/2 avocado was good. read more

This store was getting better with my orders up until today. There's all new staff. The employee who took my order over the phone couldn't understand what I was saying. When I came in to pay, she didn't get my order right. I had to repeat it twice. I don't know where the owners are and the original cook and cashier, but those who replaced them are a mess. I asked for all broccoli and they gave me diced up broccoli and included a bunch of core. I have never gone to a flame broiler and was provided horrible food and service. I'll find another location for now until they find more competent employees. read more

I would give it 3.5 stars because it's a tastier and healthier alternative to other fast food lunches. Plus, it's really cheap, with all of its bowls just around $5. I ordered The Works bowl, which had grilled veggies, chicken, beef, and rice. The meat's really good, and so is the sauce. This place is worth a try, but I wouldn't say it's super amazing either. Good enough to be slightly above average, but not enough to get my 4 stars. read more

It felt like they were skimping on the portion sizes, and the overall quality of the cuts didn't seem as good as it used to be. When you pair smaller portions and lower quality with their recent price increases, it's just not a great look. I still like this place, but it definitely didn't feel like the best value this time around. I'll probably give them another chance, but I hope they step it back up.
