We came here with a group of friends and our two children. As soon as we walked in, we noticed that it was unusually warm inside. It was over 100 degrees outside and maybe 85 inside. After you sit at the table and fire up the grill, it's easily 90 degrees. The bathrooms are cool, but the eating area is HOT. The food was alright, but the heat made it hard to enjoy the meal. We had a 3 year old and 8 month old with us and had to use a portable fan to cool them off. We all had sweat pouring down our faces. At one point we asked the server if we could have some ice for our water cups because the 2 water pitchers were room temp and he hesitated before saying he would add ice to the pitchers. Overall, it made a somewhat decent meal unenjoyable because we were hot the whole time. I'm not sure if this is a regular thing or if the HVAC needs to be serviced, but I would not go back unless they had functioning AC, especially during this heatwave. It wasn't just us that was having a hard time. Just before we left, a family with what looked like a newborn baby came in. Ideal spot for a date or to meet up with family or group of friends. Walking in, they do have a small bar area with a couple of tvs but there are no tvs in the main dining area. So I wouldn't recommend this spot if the aim is to watch a game while eating. When we went, around 4pm on a weekday, it was pretty empty and started to fill after 5pm. I appreciate that we were greeted and seated right away with ice cold water. To order, you have a tablet at your table that can rotate left and right. You can put about 10 orders (including sides) which would then be brought to your table and the ordering is locked for 10 minutes so you want to choose your meats wisely but you can vocally request sides from your server, if needed. Cocktails and beers have to be ordered with your server. They advertise that every person at the table is charged, except for kids. I noticed there was an automatic gratuity fee for party's larger than 6. You can choose between the premium menu ($59) or regular ($42). I would say its a bit on the pricey side but the meat provided was high quality. We were pleasantly surprised by their la galbi and 356 steak. Overall, we enjoyed all the meats and sides. There could have been more of an effort to clean the grease from seats and the tablets, but its kbbq so residue can be hard to remove. read more

I've been to 356 Korean BBQ a few times now, and I've always really enjoyed coming here for a solid meal. However, my most recent visit left me a little disappointed. The flavor of the meats and sides is still really good, they definitely know how to season their food. The problem this time around was the meat itself. It felt like they were skimping on the portion sizes, and the overall quality of the cuts didn't seem as good as it used to be. When you pair smaller portions and lower quality with their recent price increases, it's just not a great look. There were a couple of things worth mentioning. When we first arrived, no one greeted us, so we stood at the entrance for a few minutes unsure whether to wait or seat ourselves. The seating is also a bit tight, especially during busy hours. One helpful tip for future diners: go early. Yelp still shows they're open until midnight, but when we visited, they actually closed at 10:30 PM, with last call around 10:00 PM. We arrived a little after 9 PM and only had about 30 minutes before last call, so next time I'd definitely plan to get there earlier. We decided to come back with my team from work. It had been almost a year since last time we were here and things have changed slightly. The ambience are still the same very casual and welcoming. This time we decided to do the Premium meat and definitely do not regret it. The Premium meats are for sure worth the extra price. We were a bigger group in this time. We noticed that you ordered through a tablet versus ordering through a server. Ordering through a tablet is super convenient except when it has a limit of how many dishes you can order regardless of the size of your party. It is hard to stay within the time limit if you are unable to order something for everybody. When you try to place another order it tells you that you need to wait and it doesn't specify how long. We tried asking, but they didn't tell us. Instead the server supported us by just taking our order the regular way. I am not sure if this would've been the case on a busy night. We were here in the afternoon during a weekday so there weren't many tables. It's pretty great here! Went to celebrate my friend's bday and she really enjoyed it! They have a great selection of meats, and some wagyu cuts which I recommend you trying! The sides are yummy, and theres pho in the menu randomly which my friends really liked. The only thing that's awkward about it is the table is kinda high and not big enough to fit the food, so we had to cook the meats kinda fast and stack the plates to save room. As of September 2025, it's $42 for the regular menu, which is what i think personally, good enough instead of ordering the premium menu. We were seated after 10 min on the waitlist. If you can, try to get the high top seating since the normal seating was quite low and felt like the table was too high. You order meats through a touchscreen but if you need any additional orders, you can just ask a waiter or waitress. The food comes out at a reasonable pace so you can definitely get your money's worth. My issue is that there were times that we didn't receive our orders and had to ask the waitress to check on a few items. Food wise, the quality was there. Every piece of meat was ridiculously tender and juicy. I saw that they source their meats from Nebraska with good quality meats. We came in on Friday night and waited about 20 mins to get seated for two people. We were sat towards the back at one of the middle tables (this is a crucial detail, please keep reading. I'm sorry I can't describe the exact location of the table but just know it's towards the back furthest from the entrance but like in the middle). It was our first time so our waitress gave us instructions on how to order. We opted in for the regular menu instead of the premium. The first item we ordered was brisket just because that's usually what most people eat and we like to base our reviews on the quality of the most basic item. This brisket was cut from the finest quality of brick. Tough as nails and hard as the MCAT. I like to give places the benefit of the doubt but they continued to add fire to the flame (slight foreshadow). We also ordered some galbi which was really good, some boneless short ribs, salad, rice, steamed egg, and kimchi. Out of all the things we had, the main thing we kept re ordering was the galbi. My steamed egg never came. While we were cooking, I noticed a strange scent that meat wouldn't had produced when grilled. I also noticed a black spot on the table getting bigger and bigger with smoke starti- YO! MY TABLE IS ON FIRE! As soon as I noticed the flame under the table, I shut off the fire immediately. This immediately made me think, why are the Korean bbq tables made of wood? Were we trying to have a campfire? I had just realized every Korean bbq I've usually gone to has a table made of a non-flammable material. Turns out that foreign smell I noticed was the wax from the table burning off. We tried to get the staff's attention but we didn't get help until about 10 mins. If you had been here, you know that their all you can eat is on a time limit. We had already wasted time within our meal because we were waiting for help and we didn't want to continue cooking due to the worry of the table catching on fire again. Once we were helped, the staff member was very nonchalant with the issue. We felt that it wasn't handled with urgency. I tried explaining to him the situation and when he came back he brought a lighter to ignite the grill again? I had asked to speak to the supervisor and he went to go get him. I saw them speak and the supervisor sent over our waitress to handle the situation. Mad disrespectful croski. Our waitress was very friendly and they moved us to a different table. However, I noticed they didn't add any extra time to our table after they had said they would. I kept looking at that table we originally sat at just to be sure they didn't seat anyone there after us. Fortunately, they didn't. Let's start with the Top Tier level and the items that came... nothing special. The copper grill is something traditional from Korea but it's nothing to get head over heels about. We had a great server, explained things properly and was attentive for the most part til near the end of the meal. Seemed like a shift change was happening while we were sitting and actually had good recs from the neighboring table. Full of chatter from tables, light music and good lighting, it's KBBQ, nothing to complain about here. My main gripe about this place is that before you get seated at your table they try to have you hurry and decide which tier you want to eat from as if you aren't taking the menu to your table. It's not like each tier gives you a different menu so you're almost forced to pick something quickly so that you're not just standing in the doorway. When I asked the reason for this "That's what corporate wants us to do." It made to feel like a fast food place that you must sit and cook your own food. Where are the intestines?? I dont find the premium menu to be worth it since they limit you. I like the marinated meat options. The grills have uneven hot spots - one side is a lot hotter than the other which makes the first 30 mins of your meal really annoying. Service itself is a hit or miss - the servers will check on you every 5 minutes for the first half hour then walk by your table, glance at your burned grill, and disappear for 20 minutes. read more

What I really liked was ordering is done on the tablet except for alcoholic beverages. Once your order is placed, it's literally minutes before it's brought to the table. The food is on a whole other level. Portion sizes are very good. Everything I ordered just got progressively better and better. Grills are constantly changed out for clean ones. Its really really good but its slightly on the pricier side. All their meats are soo soo good. The meat comes fast since its a kbbq, but cooked items usually take 10-25 minutes, which isnt a problem since youre dealing with plates of meat on the table. Went here today for the first time to celebrate a birthday and it was pretty good! Got there around 7:50 and got seated within 5 minutes. The host made us aware that their last call for meats was 9PM and that we would have enough time to get some order rounds in, which I thought was nice. The entrance area has a bar, although I didn't get a chance to check it out more it looked nice! One thing to note about the entrance area is that they ask guests to wait outside/ in their car, which I don't mind as the surrounding area has plenty of other cool things to check out while you wait! The dining room area is quite spacious, I liked how you could see into the kitchen and see the staff cut the meats for you. They had a very cool hardware kind of theme going on in the restaurant, the decor was very well put together. I think the meat was pretty good, I would say typical for a kbbq spot. Nothing really stood out to me, but I did enjoy everything that we ate! I liked their variety in side dishes you could get, although I didn't get to try everything as I was mainly focused on the meats hahaha. My favorite cut was the wagyu short rib. I also liked how they serviced my grill by changing my grill top often so my food would be cooked just right; however my grill fire kept going out and it was a problem the entire time I dined there. I love this place for letting us order off a kiosk, it makes it so much easier to know what we've ordered and what we haven't added yet. It does limit you to wait 10 minutes after ordering to make sure you don't spam the queue, so make sure you have an idea before submitting! The servers are super nice and attentive to make sure our waters are always filled and that we know what food is coming out. If it's a cold day, this place will warm you up. Now onto the meat, I actually don't remember what we ordered or how most things tasted because I just couldn't stop eating the LA Galbi. This was the star for our dinner. We tried everything at least once, but the LA galbi had such a solid marinade and flavor, good amount of fat, and slightly chewy, that I couldn't remember anything else. The overall experience was pretty disappointing. We came as a group of nine expecting a decent buffet, but the food was very average at best. Nothing really stood out, and some items were just bland and not worth going back for. What made things worse was the billing situation. We asked for separate checks, which is pretty standard for a group our size, but were told they could only split the bill in half. That's honestly very inconvenient and doesn't make much sense, especially for a large group. Between the mediocre food and the inflexible service, it didn't feel like a good value. Just Amazing! It's been awhile since doing Korean BBQ; most recently at a spot in Irvine and previously tried Gen BBQ. This spot blows them out of the water. The selection and quality of meats is mind blowing. What makes the experience (anywhere really) even better is a top notch server. Brie was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and beyond helpful.
