    I love this place since the first time I went there so I decided to leave a review. Although one time a worker was rude but I spoke to the owner and I heard it was resolved, in my opinion they have one of the best hot chicken places in the valley! Absolutely delicious.

    All I can say is delicious! I ordered the Flamin' Fries (without the pickles and coleslaw), and it was perfect. The chicken was perfectly cooked, seasoned and as juicy as it gets. The fries were perfectly cooked and crispy as well. Staff were very friendly. Glad they came by my work today-can't wait to have them visit again!

    I got the sliders with the side of elote. I ordered them mild because I'm a wimp. The buns were really soft and the tenders had enough of a kick for me. The elote was delicious! I'll be back for sure.

    They've got the bessssssst Nashville hot chicken I've ever tried...What makes them different is the tender juicy chicken. Other places chicken is hard and bland, but I've had FLAMIN a lot and It's never dry, it's never wrong & if you need anything the owner Mike is so friendly, professional , & a really cool guy. Always willing to take care of you right away and wants to make sure you enjoy your experience. Ohhhhh pleaseeeeeee listen when i say You can't leave this place without trying their FLAMIN fries!!

    Got the 4 sliders (Flamin & Death Row), 5 tenders (Flamin), Flamin Fries (Death Row), Corn elote & 2 Dr Peppers. The sandwiches & tenders were tasty, the breading on the chicken is thin and crispy. The flavor of the Flamin is a medium spicy but if you're a spicy lover, I'd suggest the Death Row. It's got great flavor and a good kick. The French fries alone are pretty bland and boring but the Flamin fries were tasty. The Elote Corn was delicious. This is a to go, pop up location? There aren't any tables to sit. I suggest leaving the bags open and holding them while driving home so they don't get soggy. Prices are fair and the guy was patient and helpful.

    We tried this place via their food truck outside our hotel while visiting LA and it was open late at night as well. While it first felt a bit pricey just for sliders, the portions were quite large and the sliders were more like actual chicken sandwiches. Each order could easily serve two people at least. The hot chicken sliders were spicy and packed with the flavor of the flaming sauce. We enjoyed the sides as well. So glad we ran into the food truck and hopefully next time I'm in the area, I can try out the place too!

    This place is close to work so I gave it a try. I chose combo #1 which comes with two sliders and elote and pickles. Food was decent and cashier was friendly (that's why it got two stars).... until I found a piece of hair in the slider (gross) Will not revisit.. Side note: Area is a little sketchy... wouldn't recommend visiting late.

    This is as far as I got with their Devil's Rejects Challenge sliders that I ordered through door dash. Seriously, if you're not a pepper head- this is not for you. I called the store to ask what they used in their hottest sauce and sure enough, the answer was Carolina Reapers. Before I finished my first bite I had hiccups. Had a few more bites and it was hands down the hottest thing I've ever had. Mouth has been on fire for 20+ minutes and my body is still trembling. If you want the FIRE, this is it. Their fries were garbage, but the person I spoke to over the phone was super nice and they delivered more heat than I was expecting. 5 stars. Keep it up FHC.

My most recent visit was two nights ago, on Father's Day, for a celebratory dinner. Our server was curt and unwelcoming throughout the meal. When my glass of wine arrived, the server suggested I taste it first -- which I did -- and it was immediately apparent that the wine had turned. Having ordered the same wine many times before without issue, I was confident this particular bottle was off. When I asked our server if the bartender could open a fresh bottle, she agreed without hesitation. However, moments later, a gentleman I assumed to be the manager approached and informed me that a new bottle would not be opened, as the current one had only been opened the day before and was, in his opinion, fine. His only alternative was to offer the same varietal at a higher price point. I understand that restaurants may have policies regarding open bottles, but in all my years of dining out, I have never encountered an establishment that refused to replace a glass of wine a guest found unacceptable -- especially when the server herself had encouraged me to taste it for that very reason. This experience left a lasting negative impression, and unfortunately I will neither return nor recommend this restaurant going forward.

Of course, Studio City has a village full of good restaurant choices, but since I was already a fan of their other location on the Westside, The Six on Pico Blvd., I decided to give this one a try. So Saturday brunch it was! We arrived earlier to avoid crowds at 10:45, and we had the place all to ourselves until 11:15. Reservations were made via Yelp, but we obviously didn't need them. I was a bit surprised, but small groups eventually trickled in slowly. ** THE CHOW ** My brunch date ordered a California omelet, made with brie, red bell, caramelized onions, and topped with half an avocado. The breakfast potatoes on the side were very yummy and the omelet was tasty too. Did I mention I'm a glutton for brunch? Well, I decided to eat one like one. And the Knife & Fork Chicken + Waffles was just right for my appetite. It satisfied the fried chicken cravings I had racked up over an entire week. I liked that the chicken was boneless, skinless, buttermilk-battered, and crispy. The fancy "red devil gravy" is basically a watery Tapatio for dunking or (if you're like me) for drowning your chicken in heat. Don't worry, they've got Cholula as well. Also, I love the effort in naming this menu item. However, I was a bit disappointed to find out that the jalapeño rosemary syrup on the online menu was only regular maple syrup IRL. Overall, the waffles are quite dense so it adds a good balance of hot 'n' sweet. ** THE SERVICE ** Servers at The Six were attentive. Food was delivered quickly. There were frequent check-ins with various staff members at each of the tables. The wait staff worked well together, covering each other's duties -- that was nice to see. ** THE VIBE ** There are lots of Instagram-worthy backdrops and charming little signs strewn around the restaurant. The decor and vibe give a nod to the "Society of Six" artists from the 1920s Prohibition era, who lived together in a cabin in Northern California that they dubbed the "Chow House", where they inspired each other in creating art. The reclaimed wood planks and cast iron skillets are used as plates on several menu items as a subtle accent and cozy, cabin vibe. I imagine twinkle lights add to the effect during the evening time. Next time I want to shovel brunch into my pie hole like a bottomless mimosa glass, I'll come back for the Apple Pie French Toast. That's with a side of bacon (not the bacon inside the French toast as the menu writeup may suggest). I hear that the cinnamon apple pie filling is amazing. I guess I'll have to come back for seconds and pair it with a bottomless Mimosa for $25 (avail Saturdays & Sundays, 10am - 3pm).

Tuesday music night inside was good though think because the band is set up where tables of guests would be so less talking and guests listening to the music instead. Hope they make some changes to there inside seating there for improvements will and could help overall.

While she had greens and the sweet potato (which by the way was the best thing they had going on) the Mac was average I'm about to reheat and toast again before I hit send for this review. Reheated the side of ribs, greens and Mac and it's a bit better than the pulled pork, but this definitely isn't a bbq spot I'd advise anyone to go to nor would I dare try without bbq sauce and a lot of it. Dessert banana pudding last time I was here the desserts were pretty good. This tasted like the yoplait whips yogurts consistency and like knock of Nila wafers I was just sooo utterly disappointed.

    This was my first time at Tipsy Cow, and I have mixed emotions. The atmosphere is casual and…read morefestive, with TV's playing sports and a varied crowd that includes daters, older couples, families and singles making the most of their weekend. There's music that's lively without being overbearing, and the staff is uniformly friendly. But... You have to order at the bar and, though they have runners to bring your food, you do have to hunt them down for anything after the delivery (extra ketchup, etc). While this isn't my favorite system at my age, to be fair, whatever the owners are saving on staff is reflected in the prices, which are absolutely below most places in the area for food that is good-quality and drinks that are generously poured. So yes, my wife's Espresso Martini was served in a deep-bellied Belgium beer glass, and my whiskey neat was a hefty pour. Yay!! For food, I ordered the Smash Burger, which is served with melted American, grilled onions and the house version of Russian dressing (as well as pickles, which I deleted). The burgers had a nice, smashed crust while remaining juicy, the cheese was properly melted, and the grilled onions had a terrific caramelized sweetness, while the house sauce was very well-balanced: ketchupy and creamy without being too mayonnaise-heavy. A very good smasher. My wife ordered the Big Texan Burger because she wanted cheddar and frizzled onions and BBQ sauce, though she deleted the bacon and pork belly that are normally included. This, too, was a very good burger: cooked to a proper and pleasing medium-rare and well-seasoned, with a good, fresh flavor to the beef. The onion rings were less successful, which are of the beer batter type, but seemed to be a commercial, frozen product. The coating was browned but not crisp, and the flavor was relatively nondescript. We didn't really eat them, and wouldn't order them again. And so, to me, The Tipsy Cow is a bit of a mixed bag: reasonably priced decent food and reasonably priced, generously-poured drinks -- but in a mostly self-serve environment that incrementally loses its appeal in relation to your age and your dining circumstances. Certainly worth a try, but you've gotta be in the right mood.
