From the way it looks like on the outside I wasn't sure what to expect when I walked in. I was created by a friendly server who helped me immediately! Once I found a table I ordered the 32oz Juice box IPA and 12 of the code 4 traditional wings. The wings were nice a crispy. After paying, the server returned to our table to aggressively beg for more tip money - after already being tipped. Flamin' Joe's Hot Wings are some of the best in town. They have hot wings (Buffalo style) ranging in heat from Code 1 up to Code Red (the hottest wing available). I make everyone in my group eat at least one Code Red! WHOA! They also have a wide variety of flavored wings. Some of my favorites include Thai Peanut, Garlic Parmesan, and Hot Honey BBQ. Their beer selection is decent with several good beers on tap and many more in bottles. And they always have a good IPA on tap to keep me happy. You can even order a Tanker (a full gallon of your favorite beer)! One downside I have been noticing lately is spotty service. Mostly because management does not staff enough waitresses at times. The girls/guys working do a great job but there are not enough of them. Overall, this is one of my favorite places in town. There are many TVs with sports/ESPN if you want to watch the game and the food and beer are great! If you are looking for hot wings and cold beer, I recommend Flamin' Joe's Hot Wings! While trivia night was lively and enjoyable, the food was anything but. I got food poisoning for the second time after coming here. I thought I would give it one more chance and I most definitely regret it. The wait staff was trying hard but were way understaffed and it took forever for our waitress to get anything done. Flaming Joe's is a great place to watch a football game and eat some grubbing food with your friends. There is plenty different styles of hot wings to taste. They also have their own signature sauce ranging from Code 1 to Code 7 (Widow Maker) in spiciness. Food was good. We got the 12 count jumbo drumsticks, with the huckleberry bbq and mango habanero for $16 and a side of waffle fries for $4.50. The seasoning on the waffle fries was really good. And the sauces were very tasty. Server was very nice and made sure we were taken care of. read more

This place just went from a 4 star place to a one star in my book. My fiancé and I went here for dinner last night and spent a decent amount of money. The waitress recommended that she try the pineapple cider and she recommends it to all women. Me fiancé tried the drink and then I tried the drink and it was too sweet for both of us so she asked if she could have a beer instead and sent the cider back because we couldn't finish it. After we finished the unbelievably expensive meal, which is besides the point, we get the tab and see that we were charged $8 for the cider that was sent back. After speaking with the manager, we were informed that since the drink was already poured, they cannot refund the price even if the drink was not touched. I was loyal to this wing place, over their competitors even with the rising prices, but this put me over the edge. It's not about the $8 dollars, but the principle! Won't be back again! read more

I have had chicken wings everywhere, from Spokane to Coeur d' Alene and nothing even comes close. I love the Thai peanut sauce mixed with the Code Red. The wings are crispy on the outside and juicy and delicious inside. There are always serval great beers on tap and we order the "Tanker!" A gallon of beer! That's right, a gallon. The servers are awesome and the manager is always there keeping this place running tight. We are here once a week, great place to watch the game or play trivia or just hang out at the high style tables and enjoy friends. Don't miss this place. This review is for the waitress/owner, not the food. Cooks rule, keep up the good work! Just left this location and will NEVER return. As a family we don't go "out" to eat very often but as luck had it we still had a coupon for FJoes, or so I thought. When our bill came I asked our waitress to split the tab onto two cards after the coupon. She then proceeded to tell me the coupon I had was expired. I informed her that in fact there was no expo date on the coupon and that we had received it as a promo at their North side location, but since it was .49 cent wing night at the time of our visit we couldn't use the coupon. She insisted that it was expired because she "owns this place," and the coupon was expired. WOW So instead of creating a lasting customer memory and just giving us the 5$ dollars off, she choose to have an argument with me in front of my family and other customers....over $5 dollars. This place stays pretty busy and is my favorite place for wings in Spokane. My favorite is the 1/2lb boneless wangs in Kickin' Bourbon Molasses sauce - A sweet spice with a delayed kick. This is an authentic place - beware, don't hold back - its a beer and hot wings place. Enjoy the food and atmosphere... realize that your body might have other things to say about it the next day, but hey, don't let that ruin a superb experience. Jump about half way into the sauce heat ratings and get a few of the super hot. One of the red alerts. Just have a good time. I would not give this place even one star except for the fact that Yelp requires it. I was with a small group at Flamin Joe's and the server was quite friendly towards the men in our group, rather short towards the women, almost rude. Then I found out that this server was the owner. Wow, you'd think the owner would TRY and win over the entire group. Not good PR! I ordered the Chicken Salad that was said to come with everything but the kitchen sink. It was weak on all ingredients, very skimpy salad, not fresh (I think I would rather have eaten the kitchen sink)and priced quite high for a salad that was served in a plastic basket. If you're trying to compete with Chilis?'...don't. Their salads are near the same price as Flamin Joes but with abundance ingredients, fresh and served on a nice styled glass plate. Their salads make Flamin Joes look quite cheap and cheezy! I've been here more than once, but not anymore! I will not go back and I don't recommend you do either. read more
