Being a pretty anti-buffet kind of person, I will say that this one is actually pretty decent. It's clean and the food is freshly made and the fruit selection is top notch (they offer papaya!). I love this place! Extremely large selection of appealing and delicious food. Best buffet I've seen in the area in a long time, and I'm a Foodie. I have been here several times now, and have never been disappointed. Large variety of seafood, meat, salad, noodle, vegetable and other dishes. Even at lunch, they have 2 large roasts, like a smoked ham or a pulled pork, in addition to the Chinese dishes. They really know their customer demographic! On any day, you can see the diverse customer base - local Polish-American, African-American, Hispanic, Asian and other locals - enjoying the buffet feast together at the Flaming Grill. The food was very good but the service is so poor that it impacts the dining experience. I went with a large party of individuals with special needs, and spent a considerable amount of money. Our server insisted that everyone had to have soda even though some people had dietary restrictions. Even after purchasing the soda she was resistant to providing water. I was not impressed, we ordered water to drink with our meal and it was the worst tasting water I have ever had, when brought a waitress' attention she acted as if there was nothing wrong. Food is usually about as good as any other buffet in the area. I mainly come here because it's not far from my home or else I probably wouldn't make the trip. Last night I went to eat here after work. Immediately after stepping inside and noticing it was just as hot in here as it was outside I turned around and went somewhere else. I'm not going to pay to sit down and eat in a 90+ degree restaurant. Hopefully it doesn't have the same fate as other buffets that have opened up in the area and closed shortly after. read more

This restaurant has very good food and it's always fresh! The service is very attentive and friendly. When it is busy, the wait still isn't long. There's a great selection of seafood that you can choose from. The hibachi grill food is always good and hot. The such sushi is always fresh and replenished often. It was my first time there. The food was okay and the hibachi grill was not open when we went into the restaurant. The cook kept on telling us "10 minutes, 10 minutes" every time we went up there. During our visit, I went to the restroom, and as I was washing my hands, an employee walked out of the stall, and walked out of the bathroom without washing her hands. My partner, who is half Japanese and I (of no Asian descent) have been patronizing Flaming Grill since it opened. Not only is going to a buffet a fun experience when one is hungry, it is also an education, especially when your partner is a great cook. For starters, Flaming Grill has been consistent. Consistent with cleanliness, display of food, availability of food, and the quality of the food since our first venture (we have patronized here at least once or twice a month since opening). My partner, who tends to be fussy would never return to a buffet if it did not meet his standards (why go back if the food isn't good?). The sushi is limited, but very fresh. The Hibachi has a huge array to choose from, and the man who prepares it is very fast, so hardly any waiting. The food is brought out fresh and often with no empty containers or waiting for food from the kitchen. The desserts are standard, and for health reasons, ice cream is served in cups. Those who desire soft serve will be disappointed, but is a much healthier option than having ice cream splattered all over the place with items that are non-allergy friendly. For the low price of $12.99 (not including a beverage if you use a coupon, otherwise is $9.99 plus drink), the buffet has more plus's than minus's, and is an excellent deal. New favorite Chinese buffet, no strong fish odors as soon as you walk in the door like most. The establishment was very clean and open. The food was amazing, you could tell the seafood was fresh and the vegetables were crisp. There are ample amounts of food variety. They have plenty Chinese dishes as well as American food and whole meats ready for slicing. I recommend the roast pork it was super moist and flavorful. They also have hibachi in the back which you'll be in line for about 10-15 minutes but it's definitely worth it. Sushi is also handmade on site you can see the sushi chef preparing the rolls behind the counter. Also a desert bar which wasn't that impressive but the fruit bar made up for it. The only other thing keeping this place from 5 stars is the service. It's a big place so keeping up with drinks and clearing plates can be hard when there are only a few waitresses. Your typical chinese buffet EXCEPT they offer prime rib and steak which is plus. Pretty good price, especially if you get coupons. Buffet is always bang for your buck. Large selection of food items, surprised to see pan fried plaintains which I love. I have to say first time I went they had amazing sushi, including wide selection AND sashimi with seared tuna. Second time went back (both for dinner) the sushi selection was lacking, a lot of rolls and no sashimi, but still good. Service was decent, kept removing plates and roaming around to refill drinks. Just loading up on sushi and the raw clams and oysters is way beyond the price of admission. Good soups too especially the seafood soup which is one of my favorites, not all buffets have this. Love the baby clams as well. Worth giving it a try and decide for yourself. I recomend going a little earlier than later especially on weekends as it tends to get packed up. read more

Did not care for it. No dim sum, and except for the green beans, nothing in the buffet really tasted fresh - a lot was very greasy. I've visited this buffet twice. The first time after their Grand Opening in the Spring, and the second time was earlier this afternoon. The food was quite decent during my first time there, as it was a new buffet so of course the food and the establishment will be bit kosher.. Went there with a coupon however, when it comes to using their coupons pls note they're very misleading. Per the coupon, you'll pay the slated discounted price with the purchase of a drink. Here is where it gets tricky.. the purchase of the drink is separate from the discount. Essentially, once you add the drink to your meal (note the drink is rung up as a separate charge) this is when the discount will subsequently kick in.. You're actually receiving the discount for the meal but will have to purchase a drink in order for the discount to be honored, if that make sense.. I totally interpreted the lunch meal coupon as the discounted price presented includes the meal with the inclusion of a drink for the price mentioned on the coupon but nope.. Second time I went was this afternoon 12/26. This time around I didn't have the paper coupon but I forwarded the coupon pdf to my email, since I couldn't print the coupon due to lack of printer paper. The only thing I found appetizing is the hibachi, but the guy preparing the order this little hispanic guy was not engaging or customer friendly at all, it appeared he resented interacting with us or simply working based on the expression exuding from his face...The Orange Chicken in my opinion texture was mushy, the broccoli and chicken taste stale, and the chocolate cake surface was hard. I know I know what should I expect as it is a buffet after all. However, if I am paying out of pocket, and this is a Asian buffet, at least try to make the Orange Chicken appealing. Reverting to the coupon, during check-out these people stated they will only accept paper coupons and not the electronic coupon despite the coupon date of expiring is 1/2017 and it is the exact coupon as compared to the paper version just held in pdf. Took my son and mom here last week. Maitre'd at front of restaurant just stand around like they don't want to do their job. Food was less than mediocre. I've had better in the past. Didn't seem like the healthiest food but what do you expect from greasy chinese. Felt nauseated after I left. They didn't have a huge selection. Had plenty of fried food which we don't eat. Simply put, do not go here. This place has been open for a about a month now. This was our second time here and my brother and I both got food poisoning and could not stop going to the bathroom for 2 days. If you must eat here, stay away from the fish and any of the seafood. I had some of the steamers in whatever sauce and my brother had those as well and the raw clams and we both go sick.
