My friend and I went to come here and eat since I have not been in since it re-opened. We went on a Monday night and it was SO empty which was nice! Eventually, 2 large families came in but there was plenty of seating area in the entire restaurant! I loved the ocean theme (seafood, duh!), the light fixtures were beautiful and everything was very clean! The best part?! THE PRICE! $20.99 for an ADULT both during the week AND WEEKENDS?! We spent total of ~$44 for 2 adults plus tax which is so much cheaper than any fast casual or sit down! There were tons of food varieties and about 95% of everything was delicious! The baos were a little on the cold side as well as the sesame balls for dessert. Their sushi options were all very good and all of their proteins had good flavor and seasonings! Asian buffet is a weakness even as I get older and cannot do as much damage as I used to at the buffets. We stopped in recently due to the positive Yelp reviews. The place was only about 1/4 - 1/3 full on a Saturday night which was a bit of warning sign that the rating may have been inflated. Wth that in mind, we stuck to the items that looked fresh or were recently refilled. The postives: - Various fresh fruit all seemed fresh cut and were sweet; - Sushi was generally fine, although a bit tasteless without sauce; - Service was good for a buffet and restaurant seemed clean. Downside: - Many of the fried foods were only okay. With the place not that busy, fried foods get "soggy" on the steam tables. - Wife tried the green beans which she described as old and inedible. For $20.99, it was "fine" but not a place I would plan on revisiting even if in the area. Three stars. read more

Quality , variety and price. I have been to other buffets at similar or slightly more expensive and weren't as good as Flaimng is. Pros- diverse variety of food. Sushi and seafood quality was good. They even made hand rolls for sushi and offered some sashimi. Had a teppanyaki section but you have to buzz a bell and wait for the cook to show up. Had an ice cream freezer. Fruit and salad bar looked fresh. Cons - some dishes we felt lacked flavor and could use a bit more seasoning. The restaurant was clean and plenty of parking. Parking lot is a horrible design and not easy to get around when it's busy. Honestly I would recommend this place and would come back if in the area. Service was great. There was barely any food, and the workers weren't really doing much to refill because it was obvious they didn't want to since they close at 9PM. (It was 7:30). They should be ashamed accepting in new customers for dinner time with barely anything filled. All the rows were empty or old. One of my favorite spots, especially when I come with my grandma. She absolutely loves it here! It's the only place where she really eats a lot, which makes me happy to see. The service is always great! A very nice waitress constantly checks in on us, automatically refills our drinks, and makes sure we're okay. She even asks if the food is good, which shows she really cares. As for the food, it's pretty good overall. My personal favorite is the salmon, but I plan on trying the sushi next time! Came here excited to celebrate my birthday, since I'd heard birthday people eat free with a party of 5+. Called ahead to ask about it since my birthday falls on a Sunday, and the phone rep confirmed the deal is Monday-Friday only. I asked if I could just come in on a Monday instead, and was told no -- turns out your actual birth date has to fall on a weekday, not just the day you visit. Love this place i think they recently renovated or change owner but it's a lot better now than before. We went to this buffet for lunch. The price recently increased i think it is now $17 per person ( may 25') as the check shown below. Still a great deal because for a place that's pretty big with decent amount of varieties and choices that price is very affordable. They got sushi and the grill food station seperately, while middle lane comes with assorted things like fried stuff ( squid, chicken, wonton...) grilled ( chicken) and boiled veggie/ seafood. The salad and fruit station looks very fresh and delicious. The buffer is well maintained, clean and vibe is chill with relax music playing the whole time. The variety of the food was fairly impressive: there's sushi, grilling or hibachi, seafood (shrimp, crab, mussels, clams, crawfish, fish fillet, fresh fruits, cooked vegetables, noodles, etc. I only ate crab & shrimp coz I rarely eat crab. The crab heat dat was very briny yet tasty, dipped in vinegar Yum. It was so good that I ste & picked at the crab caveman style lol. Had to wash with disp & fresh lemon to get rid of the seafood smell on my fingers, I The staff appear to be welcoming & attentive. The ambiance feels more fresh, accommodating & comfortable, clean. The restrooms needed some attention when I visited, the paper towel dispensers was malfunction. Perhaps it was the later in the day time that toilet paper was strewn about on the floor. It was a dinner hosted by my auntie who celebrated her 65th birthday. Parking is shared so it was a challenge finding a spot. Looks a but sketchy with a couple of vagrants nearby the establishment. This was definitely one of the best Asian buffets I've been to! It's very large inside with lots of seating, but it does get busy on the weekends at peak lunch/dinner, so expect a wait if you are going at those times. Service was amazing, they were really quick to come by and pick up our empty plates, which some buffets aren't so good at. There was such a good variety of foods to choose from, ranging from your typical Asian buffet foods to crab and oysters. My personal favorites were the crab, sushi, crawfish, the galbi at the grill, and of course I ate a ton of their cheese rangoons! They also had plenty of dessert options and ice cream. I went with the raspberry sorbet because it was dairy free and I didn't want to blow up the toilet later on. It was surprisingly really creamy for being dairy free and was super delicious! Food was good, we enjoy this place but today was the last time we went. It was 2 seniors 3 adult and 1 child. My husband decided to not eat at all and take a plate to go, if you know they charge about $10-$15 per pound. Originally my husband talked to a man about not charging him since he didn't touch ANY food he got a little and asked for them to charge to go they agreed. We told the lady who charge us he didn't touch any food at all they have cameras for a reason. She charges us $22 as a senior for my husband sitting there and still wanted her tip!!!!! I saw that the buffet had been remodeled and wanted to give it a shot. The place looks nice, and there definitely was a wide selection of foods, mostly Chinese foods of course, plus a decent sushi selection and a grill to-order Mongolian bbq selection. Seafood options included lots of shrimp- cold, cajun, steamed, fried, etc., fish, mussels, squid, octopus and small fried Chinese style crabs. Fresh fruits, and the usual puddings and jello as all other Asian buffets. As all other asian buffets, crab legs are history- none to be found here. I am going to have to return on a Friday or weekend if I ever go back. The problem was, we arrived at 6:30 on a Tuesday night. There were only a handful of tables of people not enough people eating to have new food made fresh. No food turnover at a buffet is not great- the food had good flavors, but everything was lukewarm, the fried foods weren't crispy or were hard/dried out, and the overall selection at the sushi bar was slim pickings. My wife kept saying, "I wish this was hot it would be better". Ended up eating more Mongolian BBQ than I would have liked only because it was cooked to order and hot. $20.99 for dinner, with tax and a tip came to $52.00 for two of us.
