This experience was average for PB. We got sat right away on a Sunday. It was not crowded despite this being a holiday weekend. We sat inside in the shade which was good. We ordered bottomless mimosas which online stated $15. They were actually $21...Our server Haley told us the website was incorrect but still honored the $15 which was super nice! Thank you! We all ordered entrees. Mine came out incorrect but the kitchen corrected it in about 15 minutes. But unfortunately this contributes to my rating. Our server said they made my meal right the first time but ended up giving it to someone else...when we saw the food runner come out eventually with my second order, they went to another table to offer this meal. It seemed super disorganized especially since there were 10 tables sat total. I ended up getting that exact plate eventually though. Quality of food- was decent but my friends waited for my correct meal to come out so theirs was cold but the time we ate. My friends were being polite which I appreciated. And this diminished the quality of their meals. My breakfast sandwich was good- but a little too buttery. The potatoes were nicely crispy. I wish the sandwich had some veggie like tomatoes. For the mimosas- our server was attentive to refill our carafe when needed. It will come premixed unlike most places that'll give juice and the prosecco bottle. I came here on Sunday with a big group of people to get a few drinks and appetizers. Our server was very patient with us in getting all of our orders in. We had someone in our group who ordered a mocktail and has been sober for over 13 years. I understand that mistakes happen, but our server told us she had given him the correct drink and came back a few minutes later telling us she had given him the wrong drink AFTER he had been drinking it. Our friend ended up having to leave early and didn't get a chance to pay for his mocktail. The server was SO RUDE about it saying "well it's on my tab still so one of you guys have to pay for it" in such an aggressive tone. In my opinion, the LEAST she could've done was given us his $8 mocktail for free since she gave our sober friend one with alcohol. Our experience was amazing overall, but the way the server acted rubbed a few of us the wrong way. Mind you, we still left a tip even after there was a 20% charge for bigger groups. Came here for the views at their upstairs deck and bar, where we had a few drinks. If you want food, you'll have to order it downstairs, which is a vibe of its own. It's giving Miami Vice with its Flamingos, plants, and neon lights throughout. Me and the girls came here on a Sunday afternoon around 3. It wasn't busy but there were people in there. The food was absolutely delicious. I think it's fairly priced as well for the portion and ambience of being in PB. I got the steak Frites, my friends got the chicken parm and the chicken pesto sandwich. We all finished our whole meal and were all very satisfied. We shared the flamingo size cocktail "drunk in love" and it was super yummy as well but definitely not worth $65. Will be ordering individually next time. The bathrooms are cute but dim and could use a little refurbishing. Service was okay, our server was friendly. She probably could've checked in a little more. Upon arrival, the restaurant is very beautiful and is located right by the beach and so I like the fact that I can eat and drink, and then just head right to the beach,. The tiramisu espresso martini could've been a little bit sweeter to me as I tasted a lot of vodka, but otherwise still good. The calamari tasted more so like a chicharron the way it was fried which was different but also still good. The grilled cheese was perfect, though! It paired very well with the tomato bisque and I would definitely come back just for that. Service was great. I had a very upsetting experience at Flamingo in Pacific Beach. I arrived with friends who were allowed to enter without issue. When it was my turn, security stopped me and claimed they weren't sure my valid ID was mine. I removed my glasses and also offered my debit and credit cards to confirm my identity. Despite this, the guard refused to let me in and then demanded to see my phone -- something I have never been asked for at any club. I explained that I did not have my phone with me and asked for my ID back so I could leave. The situation felt unnecessarily escalated and inconsistent, especially since my friends were admitted while I was singled out without a clear or reasonable explanation. The interaction left me feeling humiliated and discriminated against. Door policies should be applied consistently and respectfully. This experience was neither. I will not be returning and hope management seriously reviews how guests are treated at the door. This occurred January 17 1:00am I'm writing this review right after leaving because it was so incredibly upsetting to be discriminated. If I could put zero stars I would read more

I had a TERRIBLE experience here. I came here yesterday and showed the security guy my ID and he took it away saying it doesn't look like me, even though it was my valid drivers license and he said he wasn't going to give it back to me. I had to go all the way back to my car, luckily I had my passport in my car to show him that that is legitimately my drivers license and i am 24 years old. I made reservations for three on Friday afternoon and it was the perfect location in PB. They have a great happy hour menu with a variety of cocktails and some pizzas. I love a good espresso martini and Flamingo Deck has a nice twist - tiramisu espresso martini. I had 3 it was so good! Hahahaha it was sweet like dessert but had me buzzin' within an hour. Even better, it was $8 for happy hour! My husband and bestie both ordered margaritas and they said it was refreshing and heavy on the tequila, which we love to hear! We started with their pesto burrata and loved it. It was perfect for our warm summer evening. The bread served was nicely toasted, we just wish we had more. We also had the spicy sausage pizza and it was packed with toppings. The pizza is also a great size for sharing! You could probably get away with sharing it between 3-5 people. We really enjoyed the food and drinks. We just wish they had music on the deck. They had music inside the restaurant but it wasn't loud enough to hear much of it on the deck. The aesthetic is also really cute inside. I can imagine it being a great place for a girls night or a bachelorette lunch/dinner. For bottomless mimosas the price is great, 15$. You just have to purchase an entree which is fair. And it's 90mins from when you order it. The food was okay. Nice for brunch, nothing crazy. Me and my adopted son are there and he waited for his food for an hour. If it was such a problem you should have said no kids were allowed. But instead you let the adults get food first. This is a brunch review! Service and atmosphere are great. However the brunch menu kinda sucks. Especially if you're gluten free. Their lunch and dinner menu features a gluten free pizza and they have other gf options there....but for brunch there is nothing. Not even gluten free bread sadly. And the breakfast potatoes are cooked in the same oil as the breaded stuff. So I def won't be coming back for brunch. Drinks are yummy though! read more
