Mediocre. The burgers were "meh," the service was less than desirable, the fries were okay. The place wasn't even half full on a Saturday night, so we knew going in that it might not blow us away. I have tried this place in Fishers and now at the new location. This burger - the Flamme burger, has all the flavor you would expect plus more. The brioche bread is soft and warm, I imagine the pretzel bread is just as good. The peppers are very hot so I got them on the side. It's not called Flamme burger for no reason. I the garlicky Parmesan aioli fires are the perfect pairing on the side. Check them out during Indy burger week when they are only $5. I've only been here once and it was a great experience. Knowledgeable, friendly staff and a pretty strong menu. I ordered the chicken avocado club and fries. The chicken was great, the bacon was perfect and the avocado went well with everything. It was a little surprising that the sandwich didn't come with the standard lettuce and tomato type veggies, but not the end of the world. When you have good food and a great staff, you're immediately a 5 star for me. The friendly, helpful nature of all the workers was so impressive, I wanted to meet the hiring manager or the owner because they're doing something right! The staff was super helpful, by letting me wait in the car, to practice social distancing. They even got my order outside. The burger was yum, though we should have order medium rare, but again was not sure if they would cook it perfectly. Next time it will be medium rare. The burger was kind of burnt and we asked for medium well. We ordered a Bananas Foster shake and it was super thin and runny, with a clump of banana at the bottom. Terrible and not worth $5. Should have waited for half price happy hour at Steak N Shake‍. BONUS TIP: and the couple across from us had their wings and told they were HORRIBLE. So. I came here with a friend and it was OK. I have been to many burger restaurants and this was not the best but definitely not the worst. Since I am recently ~pescatarian~ I did not get to try one of the beef burgers although they looked juicy and delicious. I had a veggie burger which was made of lentils. I understand that making veggie burgers can be a tricky art because it is hard to get everything to stick together but this burger fell right apart. I picked it up and chunks of the burger came off. It was delicious but when eating a sandwich-esque food, I like it to be in one piece. The cheese and other toppings were good, flamme sauce was something you have to try! A little spicy and ranch like, it was a great addition to my burger. THE FRIES, THE FRIES, THE FRIES!!! Holy these fries were amazing. My friend and I ordered the truffle friend and I swear I had dreams about them at night. They were so delicious, truffley and parmesany in all the right ways. Not at all what I expected. Service was ok. I ordered two burgers - one medium well and one well done. What I got was one medium rare and one rare burger and the server insisted that my medium rare was actually medium well before stating he would let the kitchen know. Not at all the type of service I would expect; I wasn't arguing or rude in any kind of way so the response of "well that is medium well here" was very unnecessary. Now as far as the food goes - the fries tasted very good the burgers however were very bland. I read prior to visiting that the kitchen has inconsistencies and I would agree this seems to be the case. Most likely won't visit again or recommend this place. Omg. When the waiter told me this place was voted best burger in Indy I was a bit skeptical. How could I have missed this place all this time. I ordered the classic Flamme Burger it was spectacular. Cooked to perfection I tried my best to slow down and savor the flavors. I ate slow on purpose and I am still wanting more. One of my family members had suggested this place and we were not disappointed. On our first visit, I ordered a cheeseburger and house salad. The salad arrived cold and crispy in a huge bowl. It wasnt the typical iceberg lettuce salad. I cant remember all the greens in it, but it was delicious. Portion size was very adequate. The wood fired taste of the burger made it above and beyond. On our second visit, it was still delicious. This time, I ordered a cheeseburger with extra protein......an additional patty so basically a double cheeseburger. It was so delicious, but much too big for me to eat all of it lol. Also, the fries were nice and hot and well seasoned. On our 3rd visit, I ordered the wood fired naked chicken wings with a side of Diablo sauce. I can honestly say these were the best wings I've ever had. That wood fired taste again, made the difference. One of my family members had eaten there many, many times and has never been disappointed. It is so good that we decided to have my sisters birthday party there. The staff did a superb job of getting all 20 of us seated together and served us in a very timely manner. My only slightly negative comment is the extra charge for additional salad dressing. It's not much, but it is an additional price that I wasn't aware of. I order lunch delivery every month or so, and I get the same thing -- BLT salad with grilled chicken. They package this salad so it travels really well and is satisfying every time. The meat is bundled separately and in a heat-preserving package, so it's warm and juicy when it arrives, and the greens are consistently crisp and cold. Initially as it being a Friday night there was a quite a bit of a wait for my to go order since I ordered it at the counter instead of calling ahead or ordering it online. I would definitely recommend to order ahead if you're trying to get it to go since they make everything fresh. But since we were aware that it would take a little bit my friend and I ordered a beer to enjoy while we waited to get our food. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Just tried this restaurant for the first time. I'm in the area on business, read the reviews, and thought I would give it a try. They advertise fresh woodfired burgers. There is a fast food chain that advertises flame broiled. This place ain't that! The burgers taste like you wish you could grill them that well at home! The experience starts when you walk into the place and can smell the wood fired oven. If you like a sterile place where your food just appears without any idea of where it is prepared, this may not the place for you. If you like to have your tastebuds anticipate what you're going to eat, this is it! To be honest, the first burger was not to the temperature I prefer. They apologized and quickly replaced it with a perfectly cooked burger that was served with the mgr in tow to make sure it was just right. It was worth the extra few minutes wait! I had the best burger I have had in a while and wish I lived closer to eat there more often. The next time I am in the area, I will be back. Oh, the sweet potato fries were also great and the chipotle BBQ sauce is a great dipping sauce for the fries. You gotta try it! read more

It is not really set up for parties bigger than six, and seating fills up really quickly, because oh my word...when I say the burgers are good, I mean REALLY good. The service was really great as well. The staff makes burger recommendations, based on your preferences. Also someone walks around handing out samples of milkshakes (pictured), and there is a spin-wheel, where children can spin for treats. There are also several TVs set up, to watch whatever sporting event is going on. It is a very family-oriented establishment. I had the Truffle Burger, which is Angus beef topped with mushroom duxelle (which is like sauteed, minced mushroom pieces), truffle cheese, and finished with a truffle aoli. The patty was well seasoned, and the marrying of the burger seasoning and the mushroom-inspired toppings, was like a little piece of heaven took up residency in my mouth. I would highly recommend this burger for other mushroom lovers. Also pictured are the Sunny Side Burger, which has an egg cooked to your preference, bacon, and hash browns; the Bacon Cheddar burger, which has bacon, cheddar, and chipotle mayo; a grilled chicken sandwich; a kid's meal w/a cheeseburger, and an order of fries. We had a craving for burgers, so we decided to check this place out. We didn't feel like sitting down, so we ordered to go. Unfortunately, when we got home, we realized that they do not check orders before they go out. We wanted to try a few of their many sauces, but they forgot to add them. At 50 cents a pop, pretty disappointed that we paid for 6 sauces we didn't get... I ordered the flamme burger, which sounded great, but they forgot the peppers and flame sauce, so I basically got a bacon cheeseburger. The burger was pretty good, but I assume it would have been much better had they not forgotten how to make their namesake burger. The queso fries also fell short. The queso was good, but the fries were so brown and rubbery, they were inedible. We also wanted to try the wings so we got an order of the diablo wings. Unfortunately, the wings had such a heavy char on them that the overwhelming burnt flavor made them indedible. The gf got the bacon cheddar burger, and said it was good. First impression of this place is that they have potential to be great, but fall short due to inconsistency in the kitchen. He enjoyed his burger but thought it could have been bigger. I also had the Bacon Cheddar Burger (but on a pretzel bun). The burgers here are very good but they could be bigger...closer to a half pound instead of a quarter pound would be great. I used to regularly go to the Fishers location, almost weekly I would say. Needless to say, it was a great restaurant with great service and delicious burgers. Now I have only been twice to their new location and there will not be a third one. The service was poor: had to chase my waiter to pay my bill while the manager was sitting and eating with two other staff members (all three did make eye contact with me but none of them smiled or offered to help). I have worked in the food industry: unless you are in the backroom or your name tag is off, consider yourself available to guests if they need help. The food was borderline mediocre: asked for well cooked and my burger was bright red on the inside. It also had that greasy texture and taste, definitely not the char broiled taste the Flamme Burger used to be known for. I think they had both a winning menu and a winning team back in Fishers.
