As a lover of Flangicans and frequent customer I will never step foot into this location again! My entire party of 20 was asked to leave the restaurant before even settling in because the hostess was upset (crying) because she did not like the way one of the ladies in our party asked her a question about our server. HAVE YOU EVER?! Yes, we had to gether our party of 20 who were there to celebrate a retirement had to leave the restaurant because the manager felt bad for his hostess. The service and respect of the manager was completely awful! They lost out on much money to be made and many customers who will never return to this location because this group of teachers are spreading the word! The food is inconsistent. One visit is great the next is meh. My biggest issue with this location is the service. In my opinion, in order for this place to be successful, management needs to bring in some of the more experienced staff from the other locations until this location is running well and they've trained enough people to make it work. We've been 5 or so times since they've opened and have had a completely different experience every time. For a regional chain, that shouldn't be the case. In any case, I hope they iron out the kinks soon. read more

Service was so horrible I refuse to go back to this Flannigans again. Without naming my server, which he didn't introduce himself to begin with, I was at table 29 and left at 356pm. I sat down with my daughter and placed an order with two appetizers and asked him to return so I can place my son's order who was on the way. Only 1 appetizer arrived. I shook it off to the game. Then I received my food 15 minutes later still hadn't seen my waiter since he took my first order with the drinks and asked him to return. After slowly eating my meal and feeding my daughter he arrived and I said I asked you to come back so I can place my son's order. He took it down and 20 minutes later my sons order arrived but I had to go as their was an accident on University and my wife and son wouldn't make it for 45 minutes. He then returned after I received my sons order and I said can I please just get the check 4 boxes to go and a lid for my sons drink. He brought back the check and the containers and had the credit card set to 20%. I would have changed it to 10% or zero and given a cash tip to the food expediters who deserved it more than the waiter. Well I gave him 18% and said can I get the lid for the drink to go? After waiting 5 more minutes I asked for a Manager Lauren came over and asked how she could help me. I said there's nothing you can do to unchange my experience and showed how I was still waiting for a lid for my drink. I said you may as well give it away or toss it I'm leaving. Two things come to mind for whomever may read this, 1 Maybe your servers and Managers need some retraining and the main Manager Andrew half strolled by in the middle of my meal and with a discouraged look I said everything is just great. 2 Maybe aside from retraining staff you should consider increasing what you pay the managers because if it was a great salary you'd expect them to be all over everything especially when it's not busy. Either that or have your District or Zone Managers check and see how they're performing and send spotters in to check on the service of the staff and management. I can't even put one star. 4 person seating and told to leave the premises after 4 drinks per person. We were not belligerent, not loud, we were discriminated. Tell me that we spent 500 dollars worth of drinks ,but we were a tabke of 4 and ordered wings, a basket of fries and 2 drinks per person, not evel close to a 200 dollar bill. Unbelievable. Absolutely awful. Never mind the fact that every plan again is a goddamn nightmare when it comes to waiting for service waiting for your order to get taken and then waiting for that order to actually hit your table and then waiting for the check to come finally. But it's never worth it on the food. And this was no exception. They were busy so they were compromising food quality by pushing out pale white chicken with unrendered skin that look like it had been boiled instead of supposedly grilled. Chicken had the saddest trace of a grill mark on it. And yet somehow, when trying to cut into it the breast was still so overcooked that it was mealy and grainy. My daughter's ribs were also pale un rendered not crispy and not grilled. The waitress her self apologized profusely because she knew my food look like dog poo. My husband Caesar salad was woefully overdressed, even though that is standard for flanigan's. In addition, when I got home I barely made it to the bathroom to throw up like three or four times that night. Woke up the next morning still feeling nauseous. I've always felt flanigan's was a fairly mediocre restaurant along the lines of a Applebee's or Chili's, but I would honestly go back to either one of those places before ever setting foot in this place again. If you are experiencing 45 to 1 hour wait and your kitchen is completely overwhelmed. You need to put on your big boy pants and your big girl pants and not take any more diners for the day. Not push out mediocre subpar undercooked food that will literally make people ill.. absolutely shameful and horrid. This is coming from somebody who worked in one of the busiest kitchens in the entire world at the Grand Floridian resort and Walt Disney world Florida. I know what high volume is and I know what the difference is between a busy kitchen and a mediocre kitchen that has gone completely down and is just pushing anything out the door. At that point, it is not even a reflection on the cooks, but rather the chef or whatever passes for a chef and this restaurant, and the fact that they are allowing that food to leave their kitchen and hit a table. You could kill an old person a child or an immunocompromised person like this easily. Truly truly shameful. read more
