We were not fans. The only thing great about it is the cinnamon donut things. Super yummy.

Still a place for non-pancake eaters!! We are staying in a cabin and needed some breakfast to start the day. Went in around 11 on a Sunday morning and had a wait around 10 minutes. The waitress, Robin, was awesome with recommendations and telling us all the options that were available to us. I chose the works omelet with potatoes. My bf got the spanish omelet with french toast ($3 up charge). Both omelets were tasty! Would recommend for a nice breakfast. read more

I am not from below the Mason-Dixon Line so maybe this bland Sysco based stuff is what folks around here go for they do seem to enjoy Mountain Dew at breakfast time. Pancakes were pretty good but only fake syrup available, the ham and biscuits were almost inedible. Dry ham and shards of biscuits. Husband's chicken fried streak was a frozen processed lump of meat with bland gravy. Overcrowded and no single serve anything. Feels gross using common condiments and syrup. Almost no one outside of staff has masks on, dirty bathroom with no paper towels. Wish we would have skipped this place and just ate snacks from a gas station before heading into the park, would have been about thre same, but cheaper. read more

You won't leave hungry! The sticky bun pancakes were so decadent and perfect! The restaurant was very clean and well taken care of.

We stopped here as we were leaving Gatlinburg. The setting was warm and gift shop had some nice items. Our server, Scott, was great! He was very personable and had great suggestions. They had a nice fire going in the pit as you walk in. The food was delicious and you get a large amount. We got the Walker's Cabin Skillet and Smothered Chicken and Biscuits. Food was not tasty - sausage gravy had little to no flavor and pancakes were rubbery. Evidently they were out of hashbrown potatoes, but waitress never mentioned it until we asked after receiving our skillet breakfasts that had different type of potato. Making this even worse (and the reason for this review) was the person taking our payment. She asked how things were and we expressed our disappointment. Though she asked why, her composure and facial expressions showed she didn't really care about our feedback. I wondered why she even asked... The food was good as long as you stuck with pancakes. The other fare didn't look that great to be honest. The waitress was really nice. So why the 1 star? The way they were cramming people in was criminal during a pandemic. The precautions taken were skirting what must be minimal standards. Half of the staff were unmasked (not covering your nose or only keeping your chin covered defeats the point). Highly recommend the chicken and waffles! Two guest in our party had them and they were wonderful! The regular pancakes served with breakfast were fluffy and if being served with a meal you'll look like a piglet :) I added the hash brown and had three plates of food the kids were very happy with chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, bacon and eggs. I was hoping for flap jack pancakes to be out of this world...or at least better than IHOP. Nope, not so much. The service was good, the cleanliness was not great including the bathrooms and our table was a little sticky. I did like the warm syrup. I asked for over medium eggs and it came out over easy. One of my cardinal rules whenever I travel is, don't eat anywhere you could eat at home. That being said, I was pretty relieved when I learned of the existence of this place called Flapjack's that was right across the street from the Days Inn I had crashed at over the night, because as far as I was concerned, if I wanted breakfast, my alternatives were pretty much gas station food, the flea market, or a McDonald's. Despite my assumption that Kodak, Tennessee was going to be a complete ghost town or something, that assumption was debunked immediately the night prior when I saw a seemingly endless line of cars coming down from the Smoky Mountains, which made me remember "oh yeah, the Smoky Mountains." Regardless, I was pleasantly pleased when I awoke the next morning and was able to get in Flapjack's with no wait and no complication. Entering the establishment is like entering a giant log cabin or at least Disney's Wilderness Lodge or something. But it's clean and cozy feeling. Service was cheerful and friendly, and I quickly ordered a two-egg/country ham/three pancake breakfast. Coffee was brought to me in my own pot, and it was fresh, hot, and I drank all of it. Contrary to all the horrific reviews that I can't help but notice on the side while I'm writing my own review, my food arrived fresh and expedient in a timely manner. The eggs were over-medium as I had ordered, and the ham was a little dry and maybe overcooked, but at least the flavor was decent. The pancakes though, now they were an experience that might be worth a few words. It's hard to explain it, but it's like no matter how much syrup I doused them in, they would never become soggy, and somehow maintain a degree of fluffiness that defies the laws of science or something. I buttered them up and put a base coat on first, before diving into my eggs and ham, but when I returned to the pancakes, it's like they hadn't been syrup'd in the first place. So I naturally added more. And then more. Yet, they remained fluffy, and not overly syrupy! Flabbergasted as I may have been by these marvels of flapjacks, it didn't deter me from eating them. In the end, I may have consumed a pound of syrup on just three pancakes, but they were pretty decent. They maintained fluffy throughout, and never got soggy, despite my attempts to drown them. Overall, it was a good breakfast. Fairly priced, friendly service, easy to get to location, and clean decor. read more

Stopped here for the first time today for breakfast of course. I got the 3 eggs with all the meats which included pancakes. And my husband got the barn buster breakfast which well was a lot. Food was good staff was friendly. If going on the weekend expect a wait. I think ours was 20-25 minutes and then an additional 45 minute wait on our food but that's because they had a group of 50 come in right before they sat us so it was understandable. I had an omlette, potatoes and pancakes. The service was fast and friendly. It's not tourist season and it's not the weekend so it wasn't crowded. The pancakes were very good (it's hard to mess up pancakes but it can happen), the omlette was excellent and the potatoes were OK. For the money this breakfast was a food value. I had water but if I'd ordered a drink the value wouldn't have been so good. Iced tea is $2.50, a cup of hot chocolate is $3.50 and I didn't notice how much they charge for coffee. read more

Ok Food. Extremely slow service. Likely the owners fault for under hiring his staff......(Dick, hire some people). Yet no one really seems in a hurry. But they call you "Hun" and "Sweety" to try to make you feel better. If I wanted to spend an ass ton of money and have someone call me "Hun" and "Sweety" without getting anything out of the deal I'd take my wife clothes shopping or antiquing. When you drop $50 on Breakfast you expect a little more service.
