In town on business when a buddy and I decided to find a local club. Friday night was certainly a great night to walk in. The $20 cover was a bit unexpected but the service was great. After paying the cover, you are escorted through the bar to the topless lounge. In the bar area, there are several dancers and a few on small stages. These dancers are in typical dancer attire and watching as you walk past (maybe deciding if you are one they want to get to know). The topless lounge is smaller than expected but held a lot of activity. Upon entering, identified at least 25 girls on the floor and 2 on the stages at the front of the room. The hostess/waitress seats you but you can request certain areas if available. Drinks can be a bit expensive but not horrible. The lighting was adequate enough to see the girls in the room and survey the talent without having to wait until they were next to you or on stage. The girls on stage were lack luster and had no apparent desire to be there or anywhere in the building but several of the girls on the floor were having fun and in various stages of lap dances. Most of the ones I spoke with were friendly and smiling. Very little hustle as you sit down (were a couple that went straight to suggesting private room time). They are generally very friendly. The girls are wide variety and ranging from 6-10. Noticed a majority had fake breasts. There were a few with natural breasts and curves to match. One woman in her early 30s saying she was from Spain had an amazing set of natural 38DDDs and was nice and fun to be around. Another younger woman from Ukraine was well proportioned with meat on her bones was well worth taking time with. Got lap dances from a few ladies at $20 a pop that were quite intense with the allowing of roaming hands expanding as the night went along. As I honed in on one and thoughts of getting closer found out the pricing. While the private VIP rooms sound promising, $1800-$2000 for an hour is a bit pricey. Overall, the women are delicious. When one of your friends insists on hitting up a strip club you either go or you don't... I went sigh lol We went late afternoon on a Saturday... cool bartenders had a great conversation that they thanked us for, you know we're cool guys def not sleazy so they appreciated that. And most guys hardly ever talk to them as they are focused on the dancers. There's two polls behind the bar on either side and the girls rotate in and out, they barely prance...one dancer had a lot of energy and clearly tries to enjoy herself - we thanked her, she thanked us. Got a $20 lap dance. Girl was pretty and had a body built for *******!!! WOW!!! She got called to the stage. Told me to go back to the bar. She danced, she came back and got me and finished the song. Songs were fast but she was a hotty!!! I actually tipped the bathroom guy more than the dancers lol. Only real negative was the price. Bought my buddy a round, bought the bartender a round and maybe bout myself 2 no more than 3 drinks (one drink came from the bartender I didn't ask for...maybe she charged me I thought she wasn't)... Let's call it 5 drinks but should have been 4, whatever it was the bill came to $90 + 16 tip automatically added... (I took 4 of of us out for Italian food on the lower east side and spent less for 4 dinners and wine than I did for 4-5 drinks here... Surprised at all of the negative comments here, Flash is my favorite club in the city. It's fairly small compared to other places but there are tons of girls, most are awesome dancers and the girls are very diverse. Dances are your typical $20, drinks are typical price for a strip club but not too bad. The only complaint I have is the price of their private rooms, which are high for anywhere I've been but from what I've heard the best one is basically an apartment which I'm sure is nice (if you want to spend $$$). Flash has been around forever and seems to be a family business- which is pretty legendary if you ask me. The doorman who is always there is very professional and a cool guy. Seems the dancers are also well cared for by management. One of the managers - Dallas, is cool as hell- but I think she works more at their other location now. There is a fairly high turn around with girls which is good because you always see new faces, but as the industry is what it is - not all strippers are as class as the next. Regardless, it's clear this place hires based on what's important in a strip club- looks, pole work, personality? Bartenders and cocktail waitresses are also really hot and very appreciative when you take care of them. Wish I could give negative stars! Been coming here for over 3 years, was convenient while on business in the city. After speaking with a few of the dancers separately I discovered that after paying upwards of 500$ for an hour in VIP, less than 20 percent goes to the dancer. ONLY 170 $ to be exact. you are better off getting dances on the floor at 20 $ a song, at least the girl is actually getting paid that way. This is the only strip club chain in NYC that does this, it is actually kind of disgusting. Ricks and Sapphire give around 300-400 to the girl (she earned it, makes more sense!) the hostess and manager get a big portion of the money she makes and the rest goes to the club. MGMT threatens to fire anyone who tells customers how little they make in the room. Now it might make more sense why the older hostess Lisa badgers you as soon as you walk in the door to go in the room, as they make commission off the girls on top of salary. Not even going to go on about the change in mgmt, let's just say he leaves much to be desired, and has a knack for making one feel uncomfortable. great club, i would like to say it a very good place to hangout, very decent people , the dancers were all beautiful, very decent, their dance was very good, dollar parade was everywhere, expect a lot of money, mostly latina girls ,,very beautiful, no cover charge, drinks not costly. I'll be up front that my expectations were low. Most other clubs are uptown, but I could walk here from where I was staying. Cover seemed a little steep, but you don't get badgered for tips...so it's ok ($20). Bottle of beer was $11 plus tip. It was a little slow, so I got immediate attention. Almost every girl is Eastern European. Most were friendly and not pushy. One got huffy with me because I wouldn't buy her a drink, but she was the exception. The others were not pushy. I'd say the girls were solid 7's and a few 8's. I got two lap dances at $20 each and they were both great contact and the girls were attentive and nice. I would have done more, but the blonde I was scouting was with the same person all night. I doubt I would ever do a VIP room here, but I'd certainly come back for a few lap dances. Stopped by after a dinner. First time coming to this place. The place was kind of busy during these hours. There were a good amount of females, how much? Not sure because I was wasted before I got in. Girls were friendly and asked if I was having a good time. Asked if I wanted to take a few shots, but I declined mentioning that I just came for dances. They were ok with that and asked me if I wanted to go at that very moment. I told them in a bit, would just like to see the stage dances first since I came in. Again, they were understanding. One girl was cute and funny, she shakes her boobs and asked me if I was sure. I had to decline since I wanted to see what else was there. After awhile another came to ask me if I enjoyed lapdances or if I was just going to watch. I told her I was afraid of getting air dances and she said that I didn't have to worry about that with her. Went in the back for 3 dances and there was 0 air dancing. She knew what I enjoyed and followed through. She grinned when the dances were over and mentioned to come back for more. Do not go to this place it's incredibly seedy and unscrupulous. I went and paid a $20 cover charge and bought two drinks for $32. When I checked my bank account they deducted $200 on my credit card. I called Management and complained and informed they never told me they would place a $200 hold on my account. I've never heard of a place that places a hold on your credit card without telling you first. When I complained the Manager hung up on me. Expecting a fun night out, but I was left feeling ripped off and underwhelmed. From the moment I walked in, the prices were outrageous! Cover charge, drinks, and even the lap dances were far more expensive than I anticipated. The atmosphere was lackluster, and the performances didn't justify the high cost. The dancers seemed disinterested, and the overall vibe felt more like a money grab than a place to enjoy a night of entertainment. This place sucks. One of the girls was very rude to one of my friend. She kept forcing him for a dance saying "why are you here then if you don't want a dance" ? She made various other rude comments as well. When we informed the manager he called the house mother. The house mother was also very rude and harsh and she would just not listen to us. This is our 2nd time at this spot, and they keep re-decorating but its so small and the entertainers look bored, not very entertaining.
