The customer service is abysmal. I have tried on two occasions to order pizza. The first time I get a prerecorded message telling me about the pizza and then a hang up. The second time at least someone answered but then I was put me on hold and forget. Eventually I hung up. I believe it is customers that fund the business and if nothing else simple courtesy would be expected. read more

Amazing pie! I'm in town on business and just wasn't feeling like going out. Placed an order for delivery and it arrived hot and quick. I ordered a New York with pepperoni and a side of wings. The smoke flavor in the wings was intense and well balanced with the sauce (I opted for the BBQ/Buffalo blend. After the first bite into the pizza I was instantly in love. The flavor in the sauce was bold, pepperoni was perfect and the crust was spot on. They hit the brick oven pie on the head. I had every intention on saving half of the pie to snack on tomorrow for lunch but there was no way it was going to make it past dinner. I devoured every last bite and was left wanting more. Luckily I'm in town for a another week and I can guarantee I'll be in for another soon. This will definitely be a routine stop for me when I'm in town. read more

Excellent service, pride in their products, and in house smoked meats make this off the beaten path place a winner! Stopped here on a lark on the way through Carson City and was very pleasantly surprised- the place is simple but functional, and was not busy when we stopped in- we were promptly served with a smile, and the menu and the the 'mission' were explained to us (quality ingredients assembled in old world OR New York style, in-house smoked meats, etc). We did not have to wait long for our food, which was delicious, our waiter was knowledgeable and very pleasant, and the price was more than fair for the experience. We have been there a few times now, and the pizza and garlic bread always come out great. When they're busy, it takes a bit longer for us to get our food, but worth the wait, in my opinion. Just took out one star because the servers could be a little more attentive. But the man who I think is the manager is great. read more

My wife and I were in Carson City last week for the Polar Express train ride. We decided to grab pizza at this spot afterwards and were blown away! It was soo good! We got the four cheese pizza and the Goodfella, both old world style, plus the beer buddy bread(Tuesday special). The food was awesome and the staff was great. This rating is not based off the taste of the food. We have no real idea what it actually tastes like. Why you might ask...? Well the restaurant was super NOT crowded with three table of people, the fourth was just finishing up. After about 20 minutes of watching the frazzled waitress aimlessly walk about before offering to ask if we'd care for drinks (should've sent up warning flags...), she took our drink order and was simply amazed that we were already to order after pursuing their whole 2 page menu for 20 minutes. Luckily the menu was on the table, otherwise we'd have been waiting for that too... we place the order and take cue from another table that inquired after 45-50 minutes on the status of their pizza. They had to walk up to the counter to ask this as they (and we) never saw the waitress again. I'm sure she was hiding because the jack wagons making the pizza were having a great time talking, but evidently not busy making pizza. The people before us and we found out, they had not even been put in the oven yet. Obviously they were overwhelmed by the whole three tables in the restaurant and a few to go orders called in so we told them to forget it. And promptly left, as did the other family. We chose to go to Mangia Tutto on Stewart street and had a very good meal, great service, timely delivery with a much better vibe and atmosphere. The food was delicious, the service was perfect and they were even accommodating when we called to see if we could come in earlier than the reservation. The food is delicious. I had the smoked wings and they have so much flavor. I also ordered an Old world pizza. It tasted brick oven baked and I enjoyed it. It could have had more cheese though. The people are great and enthusiastic. My only complaint is the cost. I knew the pizza was expensive and for that reason I only go here on rare occasions as a special treat. The last time I ordered I was surprised with almost ten dollars more than I expected. They did tell me over the phone the amount of my order but I honestly thought I heard wrong. When I asked why it's more the gal tells me that the prices on the website are not correct. She was nice about it but I felt tricked. From now on I will visit less frequently. This place has great food at Big city prices. Good luck to them. I hope they update their website with current prices. read more

Food was excellent and it had a nice relaxed family atmosphere. Always a plus, when you are dining with kiddos. Pizza was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The crust was the best I have ever had. We got wings too, but I would skip the wings and just fill up on pizza next time. Definitely make sure to save room for the apple dessert pizza...it was the BOMB!!! read more

This is my second time here having pizza and both times were great. But tonight, I ordered a calzone. GAME CHANGER! Holy deliciousness. I got the Goodfellas (meat of course, with ricotta and pesto) in a crunchy delicious pocket. I wanted to keep eating but knew I'd regret it later. But bonus - midnight snack awaits!! My hubby had half smoked-Cosentino, half Hawaiian and said it was really good crisp crust, not too sweet and large portion for a "regular." I ate here not too long ago, and I doubt I will again. The food was ok, I had a small combo pizza and hot wings, not bad food, but the prices are very high. I paid about 40.00 for that food, and a porter on tap(which was the best thing about this place). 40.00 for one person seems a little excessive for pizza and wings, for one person. Also, the pizza had hardly anything on it, and it was a combo. So, very hard for me to recommend this place. The beer was the only thing that impressed me, very good. read more

We ordered the XL Mediterranean pizza with red sauce. This was an overpriced thin crust pizza that was burnt & had hardly any toppings on it. It was a takeout order that my son picked up. If I would have picked it up & checked it before leaving, I would have just gave it back to them. It didn't taste any better than a Dominos chain pizza. First of all, they owner Ryan, is an extremely nice guy. Was in no rush to get me off the phone while placing my order although I could hear stuff going on in the background. Ryan actually came to deliver my pizza which I thought was pretty cool. The pizza was great! I've been an huge fan of thick slice for a while now and was kind of upset they were closing. But once I tried this pizza it changed my mind. It was cooked perfectly and presented very well. Delivery was fairly fast and was an all around good experience. We drove 12 hours today and decided to check out a local pizza place. Flat Earth had good reviews however I am being generous with two stars. We got there and there were not many people and were told to sit anywhere. We looked at the menu and waited so long we thought we were supposed to order at the counter. Waitress finally came we ordered. We got our chicken wings first which were rubbery and not tasty. We waited like 7-8 more minutes and I went to the counter to ask about drinks. Our pizza came before the drinks and they had forgotten. There were About 6 people working and no one was attentive, we were 4 out of 8 people there. Our bill was 70$ pizza hut would have been better. I forgot to mention the pizza which I really liked but the poor service made me forget to mention it. We shared the Bambino pizza and each got a salad (House and Greek). The pizza has all the items chopped into small pieces which was GREAT! It seemed to enhance the flavor.
