Unusual offerings, and a great option to try several completely different tastes in one pizza divided into 4 parts, separated by braided crust. The only down side is it's a little pricey, but worth it. Very friendly service. I read the menu online first, and was dismayed to see that one topping I decided on wasn't on the menu (From Russia w/Love - perhaps politically incorrect just now?). Besides having some of the best customer service I've seen in along time....The pizza is delicious. Love the smoked chicken wings plain...and the smoked meats on the pizza put it to a whole different pizza experience. It's not my Number 1 pizza place it's falls to #2 but it's my favorite in Carson city. read more

Went in with my family a few nights ago. We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza, pepperoni pizza, chicken sandwich and pastrami sandwich. My wife and son enjoyed the chicken sandwich and he loved the buffalo chicken pizza. I tried the pepperoni pizza snd pastrami sandwich. The crust of the pizza was really great. The rest of it, not so much. Way too much sauce and they use the tiny pepperoni slices and very few of those. Not much cheese either. Seemed like all I was eating was sauce on a crust. Couldn't taste anything else. Dominos makes a better pizza. The pastrami was piled high but the bread was too thick and all it had on it was mustard. With that amount of bread it was a very dry sandwich. The staff was friendly and courteous and the atmosphere was nice. Good remodeling. read more

This is the worst pizza we have ever had. I don't mind paying for quality. For $31 I felt it would be worth it if it was a good pizza. The pizza had very little toppings. Some pieces had no sausage at all. I think there were 8 pieces of sausage on the whole extra large pizza. WOW what a disappointment. Not only do they charge you for any extras even toppings the pizza was SO greasy that the dough wasn't even crunchy anymore. You pick the pizza up to take a bite and everything falls off from all the grease. My mom ordered an Ice Tea that was pretty much water with a horrible aftertaste. The staff doesn't wear any hairnets or gloves. Their knives and pizza cutters just in water, they don't wash them or even wipe them off. So you get greasy watery pizza. They couldn't even cut our pizza, I had to ask them to cut our pizza and they didn't like that. The staff was ok until we said something about the Ice Tea and asked them to cut our pizza. I was nice about but they didn't like that. I hope they don't last long but if they do I hope they try to fix things. It shouldn't take almost a half hour to get a dang "personal pizza". read more

Amazing crust - crispy, chewy, ever so slightly sweet - and the perfect delivery vehicle for fabulous sauce, cheese and toppings! Go with the OW style - it's a winner! Am an itinerant visitor to Carson City, was not previously impressed with local dining offerings but I'll put this on my list for every future trip -- more than once, if my choice! I admit I was skeptical when I saw a 4-star wood-fire New York pizza place in Carson City, but this place has GREAT pizza. The pizza toppings were high quality. They nailed the thickness and cook on the crust so it had good crunch and chew. They use semolina which I'm normally not a big fan of but they are using a fine grind that is perfect. The flavor combinations on their specialty pizzas are unique and lots of the ingredients are made in house. I'll definitely be back to try out their other specialties but if its your first time you can't go wrong with the Consentino. read more

We ordered the Gangsta pizza to be delivered. We don't usually order pizza delivered because it loses heat and crust tends to get soggy. Our pizza arrived hot and still crispy. Flavor was excellent although it was quite salty. I'll definitely try another pizza from here! read more

The pizza was good but nothing special. The little Pepperoni's became grease traps that we had trouble cleaning out since we were in a hotel and the delivery boy failed to bring us plates and napkins as requested. Leaving this review a bit belatedly as we called in for two large pizzas and a nuts italia on Sept. 25 for a birthday. I arrived a few minutes before the time I was quoted (50 minutes) and had to wait another 40 minutes. Staff were very polite. The bill was $80, so I expected it to be amazing. The the crust was delicious and the wood-fired flavor was excellent, but the rest of the pizza was unremarkable. That would have been a three-star review. But the nuts italia was one of the worst desserts I have ever eaten. They baked the fruit on the pizza crust and it was a mushy nasty mess. Such a birthday embarrassment. Absolutely amazing!! We were greeted by an enthusiastic fellow, who showed our large group to a set of tables in the side room. Since this was our first time here, he answered all our questions about the menu, offering suggestions to accommodate different needs in our group (vegetarians versus meat-eaters), and maintaining a great sense of humor. I didn't catch his name, but he's quite the character! Some in our group ordered the smoked meatballs, and these were quite delicious....piping hot! We also order the large Greek Salad and this was enough for six people! The pizzas: The Goodfella, for the meat lovers, and the Garden of Eatin' for the vegetarians. Each pizza was fabulous, loaded with FRESH toppings, piping hot, and absolutely delicious!! We did get to meet Ryan, the owner, and I am so glad for him to live out his dream. His enthusiasm was noted on his countenance....we could see he is very sincere in serving quality meals and very passionate about his business. I wish him all the best. As for us, we will definitely be back!! ps--my only suggestion: if possible, offer a small wine selection, perhaps a red and a white. I say that because of couple of us in our group did not want beer with our pizza, preferring wine, but it's not currently on the beverage menu. Very very bad service. Waited 30 minutes for a calzone, the dough was raw!!! I took two bites and I was willing to pay for it but the cashier said no worries. Of course I only had two bites! Red sauce too watery bo flavor! Not good not good at all. Waited that half hour to see what was the big deal but I regret it now. Where do I start? This was bar none the absolute WORST pizza I have EVER attempted to eat and the service was even worse! Over priced at over $23.00 for a "Medium", I had to literally ring the grease out of the round "thing" that the sparse amount of sauce was spread upon. The "Combination" included a few intermittently spaced pieces of what I think was Pepperoni, but could not be sure due to the grease pockets that it was hiding in. The Soggy, grease saturated "vegetables" appeared to be a few red Bell Peppers and nothing else. I think there may have been others but can't say for sure. Ordered this "Greasa" for pick up, waited over an hour. Once I got home and tried to wring the grease out, called the place to complain. "Oh, sorry", was all I got from them. Drove BACK to the place and asked for mgmt. Employees were at first trying to prevent me from talking to owner. Eventually he came out. I showed him the contents of the box and he shrugged. I asked him if he SERIOUSLY was going to stand behind the so called Pizza that was sitting in a pile of grease at the bottom of the box? His response? No apology, no attempt to make it right with me...Nope. Rather, he said "I guess this is not the pizza for you?". I was stunned. I am disputing the charge to my credit card! My first review of Flat Earth Pizza will be for a take out order we called in. We reviewed the menu and called our order in - Hawaiian Luau and the Beer Buddy Bread. They were quick to answer and promptly took our order. We were advised it would be 30 - 40 minutes. We showed up right about 30 mins. and it was ready to go. We were greeted while we were waiting in line by two different people to see if we had been helped. They quickly brought out our order and rang us up. The price was a little higher than I would like, hence only 4 stars. For the small pizza and bread, it came to $28.00. Let me tell you though, the flavors in the Hawaiian Luau was excellent and the bread was the best I have had a pizza place since Gino's Pizza's Garlic Chips. I will most definitely be returning and can't wait to try other pizzas! Sorry no picture this time. I was too hungry and the food was too good! :D read more

This is my favorite pizza place. Unfortunately, the dining-in experience leaves a lot to be desired. We left the very first time we ever went there because we were told to take a seat and after what seemed to be an unreasonably long wait, no one even came to take a drink order. The next few times we ordered take out. Usually takes at least 1/2 hour to get your pizza to go, but that's ok. The pizza was great. The next time we went to the restaurant to eat, we sat there forever (it was a Friday night, so some wait was to be expected). People all around us were getting us food. We asked the server what was up, turns out someone lost our ticket. We left. My suggestion: call ahead with plenty of time before you want to eat and take your pizza home. That way you will get your food, which as I have said is good. read more

After tonight's experience, I doubt we will be customers again. I had placed an order for pickup since my daughter specifically requested Flat Earth for her birthday dinner. I was given an estimate of 1 hour and mentioned that was absolutley fine since we live in Dayton and will be driving down to get the pizza. Girl who took the order seemed really just meh, not the usual "happy to help" attitude we usually get... but whatever the pizza and service from other employees are worth it, so I thought. My car unexpectedly broke down in Carson on the way to get the pizza, so I tearfully called to see if there were any way I could have the order delivered to us since we were already in Carson. The same girl answered, still sounding bored, basically just told me no and that they were too busy. So I had to cancel the order, waste a perfectly good pizza that was probably already ready, and disappoint my daughter. Feeling horrible, I called DOMINO'S as a last resort. They were EXTREMELY slammed with orders and deliveries, yet still took the time to deliver to us while we waited for a tow truck. The Domino's manager didnt even have a solid delivery address to put down for the order yet still wanted to help me. Domino's went above and beyond to get us our order and make sure my daughter got her birthday dinner... now they deserved that 80% tip! read more

One of the worst parts of moving from Reno to Carson City was giving up all of our favorite local pizza places. Then, we found Flat Earth Pizza and they have made everything great again! They use very fresh ingredients and it makes a huge difference. Pizza crust is fantastic, their wings are full of flavor and everything else we have tried so far has been delicious.
