I came to this spot on a Thursday night 17 minutes before they closed. There was parking and it was not packed. I got the tofu veggie pho with veggie broth (which I appreciate they offer veggie broth because a lot of pho places do not) and it was super delicious which cured my hangover lol The person who took my order was very kind and attentive. I can tell he has a good heart because he showed his heart of service when he went out of his way to open the door for a customer on a wheelchair. He kept refilling my cup of water (and everyone's cup) constantly. I enjoyed my experience here. Place was busy but service was good. Went right before the rush and got seated early. It took a while to get noticed because of how busy it was but they brought out everything quickly. They didn't have as much meat in other dishes my friends ate but they had a good amount of meat in the pho. The pho was good. Large was that big in my opinion. Could have been bigger. Price was good for how much they have you. Meat was not amazing and soft but they gave you a lot at least. Parking here is insane though. This is the only pho place that we go to with my boyfriends family. The people are always usually nice here. They are always busy, but they almost always have available tables when we come to eat, which is perfect. I usually get the chicken pho or the seafood pho and the price and size is perfect. Service is great, staff is friendly. The only thing I would say that is a challenge is parking! If you come during the weekend, good luck with parking because you might have to wait a long time before you get a spot if you really want to eat here, especially if it's during the weekend. However, one time we came at night and they where close to closing and they still allowed us to eat they didn't turn us away so that's so nice of them. They even gave great service and that says a lot about a business. Usually when it's already closing time, businesses will turn people away, but not them. Love this place! I've been coming here since before they were FlavorPho and it was good then as it is today. I am never disappointed and the servers are very attentive and aware of their customers needs. My personal favorite is the P1 Combo (regular size) and the Vietnamese Fried Egg Rolls. Just delicious! The other stuff is good too such as the fried shrimp rice and the lemongrass beef stir fry meal. I always leave satisfied, but don't take my word for it, try it out yourself. There are a few pho/Vietnamese food places in the Cerritos/Artesia/Norwalk area - but I like Flavor Pho the best. I'm originally from the LA area, so I've had my share of great Vietnamese cuisine over the years. In my opinion, Flavor Pho is the best in this neighborhood - not only their food and cleanliness, but also their customer service. A nice gentleman named Anthony is usually managing the place. They did not include any herbs in their pork and shrimp vermicelli or shrimp egg rolls--just a lot of lettuce. When we asked if they had any herbs or mint, they said they did not. The menu pictures show mint, but you should not expect it with your dishes. The food lacked flavor but made up for it with salt. read more

Bordering cities Cerritos and Artesia have always had some of the best pho houses all throughout Los Angeles County, which is certainly no secret to its local residents. Flavor Pho Vietnamese Cuisine, which is located at the busy Fountain Plaza in Cerritos, is relatively new to the scene. In my opinion, their pho (Vietnamese beef noodle soup) is as good as any I have tried in town, if not better. I ordered the Flavor Pho Combination or Pho Dac Biet. The broth had an amazing flavor: meaty, well seasoned and balanced with the aromatics. The beef slices were very fresh and the combination included delicious meatballs without being charged extra. The noodles were also very good: chewy, firm texture and not overcooked, and really soaked in the flavors of the broth. The portions were good and inexpensive, compared to other pho houses nearby. A small bowl, $8, was just enough to satisfy my hearty appettite. (A large bowl is only one dollar more, $9.) The Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls, or Goi Cuon Tom Thit, were fresh and delicious as well. Generously sized too, with four large shrimp inside each roll. The pork slices were moist and lightly salted, then stuffed with fresh mint leaves and rice noodles. 2 rolls ($4.75). Recommended. The rest of the menu consists of most dishes you would expect to find at any pho house, including: rice dishes, 18 pho dishes which includes chicken, seafood and tofu, spring rolls and egg rolls, vermicelli noodle dishes or bun, stir-fry dishes, smoothies and desserts. Additionally, Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) and fried chicken wings are on the menu. The facility has been revamped since it changed owners and business name. They seem to do a nice job keeping it clean and well maintained. Service is friendly although they could be more attentive. Best of all, there was no line and wait time even during lunch hours. Wonder-pho Delight-pho Pho-nomenal Yass!  The broth here is legit and very delicious.   Prompt service and a clean dining space made this meal experience un-pho-getable!  Tried the shrimp spring rolls, the chicken pho & their home made lemonade. 1st the pho... Broth is pretty darn good & the chicken wasn't at all dry.  It came with a good portion of rice noodles and all the accoutrements on a side dish - nice! The shrimp spring rolls were so fresh & tasty... dip it in the hoisin sauce add some sriracha and bam... yum - yum in my tum - tum. They have vegan pho and it's amazing Our waiter was super nice and very accommodating! I got the vegan pho with tofu (note: the tofu is prepared in the same oil as meat products). Food was decent, we got the noodle salad with beef, shrimp, and egg roll, the fried rice with chicken and shrimp, and the spring roll/ egg roll combo. 10/10 for the service, we ordered to go and they still sat us down and gave us water. I will say the food tasted good and the fried egg rolls and all the meat was really good but I felt like there were a few things missing. The nuoc Cham had no garlic or chilies, the spring rolls had no mint or cilantro and the bun chay used iceberg lettuce which was a first for me, anytime I've ordered it, it comes with a heartier lettuce. The iceberg wilted and felt a little sad. I would come back to try the pho though as that seems to be the most popular item. read more

Saw all the great reviews for this place and wanted to try it out. Unfortunately, the staff member working at 1250 on Mon, 14 Aug 2023, convinced us it would not be a worthwhile experience. It started and ended with us waiting to place our order. After our server dropped off the menu, we waited patiently for the server to stop by our table to take our order for about 10 min. Then we saw a young lady from another table get up and go to the counter to place her order. So we thought that was the process. I went up to place my order, but after taking the order of the girl ahead of me, she annoyingly informed me she'd come by to take our order. I went back to our table. We waited for another 5 minutes. When she passed our table, my wife tried to flag her down, and she glared and barked a comment about getting to us. At that point, it was clear that she didn't want to help us and saw us as an inconvenience. With no order placed and facing an unwelcoming atmosphere, we left. We didn't even say a full sentence to her the entire time we were there. She was clearly in a sour mood for reasons that are her own. I hope the other patrons had a better experience. read more

The Vermicelli Bowl was delicious and tasted fresh. It's a really light yet filling dish. Definitely recommend! I was craving rice noodles for lunch the other day. After scrolling through Yelp, I came across this place and thought I would check it out. I had the Vermicelli Bowl with chicken and egg rolls. The chicken is grilled and has a nice flavor to it. The bowl comes with the noodles, meat, cucumbers, carrots, peanuts, and bean sprouts. Once you mix it all with the fish sauce, it really comes together nicely. I ordered grill pork & shrimp vermicelli, pork, shrimp & siting roll vermicelli and beef pan fried noodles. In addition, a side a broth just to see how good of a Vietnamese restaurant it is. Overall it's too sweet. The meat is so tough and shrimp rubbery. The broth is bland and salty. Service was awkward. The guy asked us if we were ready three times within the first 6 minutes we sat down. It made us feel really rushed. The woman who seemed to be the manager seemed she couldn't wait for us to get out. Because of COVID, everything is stored separately (the broth is in an individual container and the rest in their own). The staff is very friendly and quick. All the ingredients tasted fresh and the broth was steaming hot. I ordered the rare steak and the medium steak and they tasted like quality. Very good in price.
