Eggs hash browns, bacon and toast. $11.99
    Josh F.

Food was ok. It's tough to mess up breakfast, but the hashbrowns were rushed. Hence they were a little burnt. I had butter on one piece of toast. Wife had all four pieces buttered. Bacon was ok. Main reason for the two stars is it's dirty. The bathrooms were filthy. Random roll of paper towels just plopped on the dispenser. Just looked like grease was oozing out of everything. The outside is rusty. I wouldn't eat here again. The food isn't good enough to overcome the gross atmosphere.

    The diner dinering hard.

If you are looking for an iconic diner experience, this is the place. Fast, filling, straight from the griddle with more butter than you probably want think about. Personal favorites include the Hippie hash and the tempeh reuben. Servers are wildly sweet, refill yourand you get the sense there are a lot of regulars.

BEWARE of the SAUSAGE GRAVY!!! I brought back my food to show them the raw sausage in the sausage gravy, and was told they boil their sausage. Having worked in the restaurant industry for 15+ years, 5 years being at IHOP, I know the difference between raw sausage and a slight pink. The sausage was fully pink, only the casing was kind of white. I was not given an apology, offered a refund, nor offered a new meal. Just told that they boil their sausage, as if boiling sausage eliminates any food borne illness even if the sausage is still raw. I walked in assuming it was a mistake, and they would 86 the gravy until they made a new batch, and keep others from consuming raw sausage. I also assumed they would do what I would do if I was ever in the situation of serving raw meat to someone. Starting with a sincere apology, then giving a refund, and offering a free meal as a replacement. None of the above happened. Just an explanation that they boil the sausage. The picture really doesn't do it justice, it was so pink. Not a spot of cooked sausage even around the exterior of the ground sausage.

We try to make it to Fleetwood whenever I am on vacation, because my schedule doesn't normally allow time for breakfast out. We chose Fleetwood because it is one of the few brunch places open on Monday. The building could use a good spot and polish. When we entered, the first two tables we looked at to sit down were still dirty. The place was not busy, and it was well staffed. Now for the good stuff: our waitress was speedy, patient, polite, and attentive. The food was warm, plentiful for price, and flavorful. The coffee was delicious as always. For a standard diner with loads of comfort food, Fleetwood serves. I do wish they took some time during COVID shutdowns to have done a DEEP clean. If memory serves, the bathrooms are kind-of gross, so I usually try to avoid if possible. If they cleaned up their place, it could be a five star place!

I stopped here for dinner on a Monday night at 5:50 pm. I was seated right away and was given a menu. The menu was huge, there was something on there for everyone. I ordered the Roast Beef "Leftover". It was sliced roast beef over two pieces of Texas toast and covered in gravy. It was served with mashed potatoes. It should be noted that the photo on the menu showed mashed potatoes with no skin, yet the potatoes that were severed were loaded with potato skin. They tasted OK, I just don't care for a bunch of skin in my mashed potatoes. The roast beef was good along with the gravy. Overall, I was underwhelmed with this dish, I liked the restaurant and would give them another try. The next time I think I'll go with the turkey.

Food was amazing! Enjoyed a nice breakfast. The meaty hippie hash was a big favorite but also enjoyed the biscuits/gravy and French toast! Highly recommend. Service was excellent. Very friendly and very efficient. Everyone at the diner was nice and friendly. They all greeted us and said goodbye. Most definitely will be returning.

Had breakfast at lunch time today. The Hippie Hash was really good, as was the coffee. The hash browns would be great in their own, especially if you get them crispy.

Oh, how I missed this! Fleetwood's meaty hippie hash is probably one of my top five breakfast dishes in the Lansing area and it was as good as ever this weekend! I got a side of crispy bacon to go with it and it didn't disappoint. Looking forward to next time!

This was our first time in, and folks, I have a proclamation I must make: that was some of the most delicious cheesecake your boy has ever had. You know we will be back! Today, we ordered two Girl Scout Samoa cookie cheesecakes! Most importantly, we must start at that subtle bake on that bottom, looking gorgeous dressed in an all-black chocolate deliciousness. This cake is head to toe gorgeous, from her caramel coconut topping down to her delectable, creamy but smooth cheesecake body. Listen, the crust is to me the make or break part of a cheesecake, and like I hinted at earlier, this one is an Olympic gold medal winner, folks. Accompanied with the cheesecake was a dollop of their homemade whipped cream, and Cutie loved it so much she even said, "I could eat that out of a bowl with a spoon." Wow, you know that has to be top tier, top tier! The portion size was generous, and the selection is outstanding. I cannot wait to try more and more phenomenal menu options. The decor inside is cozy, and I love the art on the wall. Listen, I am no mathematician or scholar in general. However, if you take the price and add the quality, now multiply that by portion size, all that equals to world champion level status! This really is the place to go. Cutie and I will be adding Everything is Cheesecake to our permanent rotation! I had high expectations, and they were indeed exceeded! A no-brainer five stars out of five!

The options are overwhelming in the best way possible, with something for every taste and craving (and let's be real, the cheesecake is always a highlight!). I ordered a German Chocolate signature cake and it was beyond delicious! The cake itself was moist and flavorful and the icing was perfect. It wasn't too sweet and was noticeably made from fresh ingredients. I never refuse a piece of cake, so from experience I can say that this German Chocolate cake was the most authentic you'll find in the greater Lansing area. The staff is very professional, helpful, and pleasant. They delivered the cake to my front door at no extra charge and took precautions such as a "no contact delivery." Their prices are reasonable, and moreover, less expensive than their competitors.

This company in my opinion doesnt deserve business of hard working citizens, not after how i have seen how they conduct said business. ***End of updated section*** Avoid this place in regards to events and poor customer service. Between the staff being extremely unhelpful to an owner that is brazen and rude enough to try and over charge on a kids 5th birthday this isnt a place to do any event with kids of any age. Was advertised on facebook for a great place to do a kid birthday but thats far from truth. The staff was unpleasant - not as in they were extremely rude in the yelling manor but more of the crowd that never smiles and doesnt appreciate life. Doesnt introduce themselves, never gets involved and has a feeling of not wanting to be there. As a crowd that has small children every parent pitched in to clean up and help setup. The space was extremely small and even when told how many people were going to be there nothing was mentioned about how they dont have the seating to accommodate all (total of 8 children and 5 adults) - 6 seats for that crowd, I would think at least get enough for the kids - or better yet - explain to your customer prior that they would have to bring their own seats would be wise in my opinion. This was booked 30+ days in advance. We didnt complain about this when we arrived or left, its something i thought i would add just in case someone likes to deal with these kindve situations even after reading a detailed review. Lets move onto desert. Taste wise, ill give credit where credit is due - not bad, TBH had better for the price but thats not the point. The main point is that when making a unicorn cake whipped bakery missed the mark, even having a very well inspiration photo that isnt over the top. Well, I cant tell if they were purposely slapping us in the face or if it was i giant artistic mistake. After speaking to the manager/owner - im feeling it was both. To explain the major issue - they cant do a unicorn's horn at all... or ears... If you cant do it - please state that before hand instead of trying and making it look like something you would buy from an 'adult super market', if ya know what i mean. Moving onto price. The business was paid a $75 deposit, then prior to the event paid $187 for a cake and cupcakes ($135 for the cake, $42 for 24 cupcakes) after the event we paid the remaining balance for time/space of their floor ($75) and shakes made for everyone ($31 total, $10 for the b-day kid and $3 for the remaining 7 kids) bringing our end checkout $108 and change after taxes - where the issue comes in with price is the owner tried to have her lovely staff charge us ~$170 instead of $108. We had all the receipts to show what was needed to be paid/been paid and was explained to them what was going on but that is when things went real south. After having to listen to the owner huff and puff their stuff on the phone we thought that was the end of it. Unfortunately the owner then took it upon themselves to smear us on facebook. Saying we left things a mess and didn't pay our bill. When rebutted on their comments with class (no yelling, no name calling or being spiteful) comments would be deleted and accounts banned from their page only leaving the handful of praise comments that have no clue of the situation - and now cant be educated on the situation. When someone treats customers of their own community like this it screams volumes at the horrible person they have, and are, continuing to become. To go into detail about the mess - we had 2 out of 50 balloons pop, 1 was a small filled confetti balloon and the other wasn't filled. We picked up what we could and a small amount of confetti was left (all on the floor, none on products/counter tops) . Not done though, again credit where credit is due - we left a balloon group (about, 10 balloons). Now, this was an accident because we were so taken aback on how the staff treated us it was just forgotten - i guess you can say we wanted to get out of that horrible experience and never go back but in our haste forgot a handful of blown up balloons. To be smeared over that is completely unacceptable.
