Truly impressed by the food here considering it's a hotel restaurant. I highly recommend the seafood chowder, I ordered it twice during my stay. Portions are also HUGE, at every meal I ordered the half portions of everything and it was still a ton of food. The wait staff are truly impressive in their attentiveness and willingness to get you whatever you need! I cannot recommend Fletcher's enough. Great fish sandwich, great salads, great soups, great pub, great desserts, great beer selection and awesome service. I stayed at the Caprain Cook and everything I had there was bomb. The guys in the bar are awesome ( Jimmy and the guy wearing the Elderman jersey were great). Fletcher's is one of my favorite bars. It's swanky, almost a speak-easy feel to it, but comfortable to be in & not at all stuffy. Their food is better-than-bar fair, and their drinks are reasonably priced. I've never had a bad time at Fletcher's, and they accommodate large groups with relative ease. While I've had, and enjoyed, their food, I generally go to Fletcher's for a beer or cocktail with friends. It's a great bar, comfortable without being divey. read more

terrible service. i waited 30 extra minutes for my beef stroganoff on top of the 20 it supposedly took for them to make it, just for them to tell me that they didn't make my order because it comes pre-mixed. i called in and said i wanted a order of beef stroganoff with no mushrooms and they lady didn't tell me that they couldn't do that because it comes pre-mixed. wasted an hour of my life for horrible costumer service and for the food to be basic. read more

Arrived at 2130, ordered some Oysters which were good and 2 cups of seafood soup. when getting the Oysters one of our soups was forgotten. that's fine, well we never got checked on at all the whole 2 hours we were at Fletcher's. When we ordered our main course after over an hour of waiting, my husband has switched out the sides due to them being low on Salmon. so we both got the Halibut plate but he got the Salmon sides. I also ordered 4 more oyster's. we got 3 Oyster's instead and our drink glasses were empty for over 45 minutes. When our food finally showed up my plate looked like a 5 star place, my husband's on the other hand did not and looked like they gave no care to presentation at all. I was not pleased with this being our first time there and was looking forward to dessert but after our experience I wasn't able to even touch my plate or want to stay for dessert. I am giving this restaurant five stars which I rarely do. I had drinks and apps. There one night and dinner the next. Both evenings food was delicious. Had specials for the dinner. Shrimp risotto. We came to Fletcher's because our plane broke down and they sent us all to the Captain Cook hotel. What a pleasant experience we have here. Everyone on that plane had a free voucher to eat at this restaurant that night, so you can imagine 300 people standing in line to get into this little restaurant. It was chaotic! However, all the servers/hosts were still very friendly and nice. They kept on apologizing for the wait even though we didn't even seem to mind. We ordered the jumbo shrimp cocktail. Oh they taste so fresh! The simple spaghetti and meatball was a joy to have. It was cooked just right. Definitely recommended! read more

Ordered the Fletcher's burger with pub fries. The fries were over cooked. They were hard on the outside and the inside. The burger was burnt and the "special sauce" was non-existent and the burger was dry. Everything was over priced. $2.50 for a can of soda. Not a place to go for food. read more

I like burnt food, so that didn't bother me about the crab cake being totally burnt on the bottom. But it was 1 cake for $15 and was flavorless and full of bread crumbs. The calamari was just weird. 4 of us went here on Friday night and were seat promptly. We ordered pizza, a bottle of wine and the oyster special. $16 for a half dozen oysters that were the smallest I'd ever seen. Less than a tablespoon of meat I'd guess. Pizza was fine, nothing special. Service was good. read more

My husband and I love Flechers and I recommend this place to anyone who asks. We sit at the bar so we can watch the sports and get quick friendly service very time from the bartenders. I highly recommend the blackened fish Cesar salad. I wish they still offered the steamer clams, but alas it is not so. read more

It was served on a ciabatta style roll which was good, but way too big for the size of the burger patty. I'm definitely a foodie who frequents various restaurants often. Unfortunately I have to give Fletcher's a 1 star review based on service alone. It was shockingly bad to the point that I honestly thought our server was joking. Sadly, he was serious. If you order water here, don't be surprised if you're told you have to help yourself by getting up and walking across the restaurant to an "aid station". Once at the aid station, you'll find small cups and no ice. Plan to make several trips, because truly the cups were tiny. I've honestly never come across something like this, and I have never had obtaining something as simple as water be an issue. It's easy enough to bring a glass or place a pitcher on the table. Due to this, I was totally unwilling to order any food for fear of having to cook it myself, and my party of 7 left with disappointment after one drink each. read more

I have been here several times over the past few years. Always been an alright experience. this time not so great. The food was good , you really cannot complain about that. The chefs work very hard behind the scene. The atmosphere is nice, however, the service always is dodgy. You never really know if you will get good or bad. This time it was bad. Thanks to my horrible waiter Alejandro i may never return here to eat. I waited forever for a check. Another server brought me a to go box.very kind of him) As he was busy as well. When i did finally get the check i had to go to the bar to pay my bill, because, Alejandro was chatting up peeps at the bar and watching sports. I've eaten here twice and both times came out fairly happy. The first time was the lunch special, salad and pizza, and just would second the other review on that. A good salad can be somewhat difficult to obtain around here. More recently for dinner, but didn't want anything too filling or overpowering, and I went with the seafood melt, and my partner went with the garden pizza. Mine came with a salad, pretty good sized for a side and very fresh, with some a few veggies, sliced red onion, croutons, tomatoe, etc. The seafood melt wasn't really all that great, and in fact was a big fishy, and a bit mealy. Perhaps I've been eating way to much fresh salmon lately. The pizza is ok here, although the crusts are a tad bland, and I definitley would not want them any thinner. The seafoold melt was suppose to be on a slice of foccacia, not sure I really noticed that it was on a foccacia, maybe a think slice of bread? Anyway, I think it was lacking overall just a little bit. They had a decent wine by the glass selection, not too many places do, and actually had two very reasonably priced choices of zinfandel, which is my usual favorite. Many times if you can get a choice beyond Merlot or Cabernet (or Chardonnay), you are doing good. Service was ok, place was busy, waiter seemed rushed, but was prompt and was there when he needed to be. They were out of their homemade bread sticks which were replaced with some rather tasty pumpernickel and melted Parmesian sticks. We'd definitley go back, espeically if the Glacier Brewhouse down the street has a long wait, which it did, on a Sunday. read more

Made our first and last visit to Fletcher's: poor food quality (the calamari was barely cooked and tasteless) and we received very poor service (the waitress only checked on us twice during our dinner and didn't offer to do anything to make up for the poor food quality). There are other nice establishments in town so we'll be avoiding Fletcher's from now on. read more
