He walked in on the first day of camp for 3 kids so my house was pure chaos (sorry Jason!), but he got right to work and fixed the washer after identifying the issue was a string caught from one of my 15. year olds bikinis. I think communication is this company's biggest issue. I told them in writing and over the phone…read morethat have a leak in my fridge and need freon. He came to add freon without addressing the leak at all, just wanted to charge me for wasted materials. The person on the phone told me there would be no service charge, the leak would be $85 and he would add the freon "by giving me a good price". Then he told me $180 for the freon and he couldn't fix the leak when he got there and still tried to charge the $85 after I told him to leave. I hate to say that I think the language barrier caused this issue, but he didn't read my texts either when I said there was a leak.

The technician arrived on time, looked at my issue and repaired the dryer with parts he had with him. The price was comparable to other service quotes , without an upcharge for same day service. Does it get any better than this? I will be using SMA for any future service needs.

(Ultimately unsuccessful, but I appreciated the effort.) The technician, Bek, was on time, courteous, and very open about explaining everything he inspected. In just under an hour, he was able to diagnose the problem and replace our ice maker, which he had on hand. One small critique-- it caught me a little off guard to see a tip option on screen when making my payment, but in this case I obliged, considering how well the whole appointment went.
