I had heard around town that the food here was good so my son and I decided to check it out one day. I had a cheeseburger with fries and my son had the kids pancake with bacon. We both enjoyed our food. Portions were substantial and we both had leftovers. Prices were reasonable. My kid is insanely picky. I wish they had macaroni and cheese, a cheese quesadilla, and/or a plain hot dog as a kids meal option. Thank goodness we were early enough to order breakfast because my child does not eat burgers, chicken tenders, or corn dogs. Lord, help me! The best part of this place is you can sit by the window or on the outdoor patio and watch planes take off/land as you eat. This made my kid so happy he didn't even ask for his tablet! He loved watching the planes!

Whole experience was kind of meh...Table wasn't wiped down at all...Service was slow...unknown that karaoke was about to start early that evening (5pm ish ?)....My buddy got the chicken parm and he didn't care for it, and he's not picky....I got a burger and fries...Burger was decent, but I hardly got any fries...So I left still kind of hungry....It's annoying when restaurants short you on fries...Also, I did not care for the bioengineered mayo in packets.

I'll probably have breakfast here every time I stop in town. Whoever is cooking in the back knows what they are doing. There were so many menu options and something for everyone to eat. I had the French toast with cheese grits, sausage patties, and home fries. They have a bar and different evening events like karaoke and bingo, depending on the night. Emily was a wonderful server. Definitely stop in and enjoy wonderful food with a great view.

LOVED THIS PLACE!! Such a cozy little restaurant. We got there about 4:30 on a Fri and were the only ones. Only two other tables came in while we were there. Our waitress was such a sweetie and was always making sure things were okay. The food was absolutely delicious too. Since I usually do keto, I had a chicken sandwich without the bun. Generally places just throw that shit on a plate and call it good, but this place gave me such a nice looking "sandwich!" It was like art! Bf had nachos and they were not stingy on the chicken, it was awesome. They serve alcohol too. I don't know why it's not busier. This place is a gem. Update: the above was a month ago. Returned last night on valentines and it was decorated with heart balloons and they had a valentines playlist. Our waiter, Isaiah, was such a sweetheart and just the best waiter. The food was absolutely amazing yet again. They definitely do not skimp. It's a little out of our way, but so worth the drive. It was the perfect place to eat on Valentines, no wait, quiet, with awesome everything.

We flew into Winter Haven for a quick bite and some drinks. We opted to sit at the bar and Amir, the owner of the restaurant, provided us with excellent service. Just after a couple minutes of speaking to Amir, you can tell that he takes great pride in his restaurant and wants every person who walks through those doors to have an excellent experience and leave feeling well taken care of. When we walked in, there was a man playing a guitar, which I enjoyed and thought provided a great ambiance. My boyfriend and I were not as hungry as our friend, so we opted to order an appetizer to share. One of the chefs recommended the pimento cheese dip with pork rinds, which are made fresh to order. It was a wonderful recommendation...the pork rinds came out crackling and had a great seasoning on them. They paired really well with the pimento cheese! Our friend had the pimento BLT which was very large and looked delicious. He seemed to enjoy it. When we ordered drinks, I told Amir that I was a craft beer fan and he immediately recommended a beer and pulled it out of the cooler to show me. It was an amber ale that I had never had before. I was impressed that they offered a wide selection of bottled beers here and that he was fairly knowledgeable regarding them. The beer was delicious and was exactly what I was looking for. An overall excellent experience. I will definitely return and am looking forward to trying other items on the menu. I saw multiple dishes come out of the kitchen to other tables and they looked amazing!

I can only speak for myself but a group of us went there two weeks ago. We were promised a breakfast buffet. They did have somewhat of a buffet for $12.99 and a cup of coffee for $2.95. Watery scrambled eggs, overcook sausage Pattie's and hardly any bacon. French toast when they had it was burnt. They took miniature cubed potatoes probably frozen for home fries. It was awful, looked like we got con or they were under new management. My wife and I will not go back.

Tasty. Friendly. Interesting…read more I wasn't sure what to expect when I stopped in, and while the food was good, there was just something about it that wasn't for me. I had the country fried steak with two eggs and it was good. I was taken care of by Sheila, and she was lovely. But this will probably be my only visit.

These fine folks are 35 miles from my casa and off the beaten track for me. I was in the area for another reason, and they were calling me. Arriving- their address is 5th Street but think Route 17. The parking lot is fine and there are some solid handicapped spots. Ambience- You enter through the outside patio. It's very nice and shaded but you're still going to be eating with cars whizzing by. That's never been an attraction for me. Inside has got a 50s vibe. Everything is spotless. You see the buffet almost immediately. There is a semi-open kitchen in that you can see part of it from some seats. The menus are laminated to the tables. The men's bathroom was spotless. Customer Service- Maybe 8 stars! Just awesome! My drink arrived within seconds of sitting down. My order was taken within seconds of when I was ready. I was checked on appropriately. My bill was on the table, and you pay the cashier when you leave. Nothing but good stuff to say. Food- Standard American menu with no big surprises. When I try a new place for breakfast, I always get an omelet. This time it was a Meatlovers with potatoes and a biscuit @ $11.99. The omelet was 4 eggs which is a little unusual. I was asked if I wanted my home fries cooked on the grill or deep-fried. That was something new! I choose deep fried. Everything was out quickly. My biscuit (not pictured) was warm and soft. My omelet was just fine. An average amount of meat and cheese and cooked nicely. It didn't seem like a four-egg omelet. Just the usual three. I could get this omelet anywhere and that's not necessarily a bad thing. OMG the deep-fried home fries! Did you see my picture? These are not from a bag but homemade. They were piping hot and just damn amazing! I never had anything like them, and they'll be in my dreams tonight. So, my breakfast with excellent service was easily a four-star experience. I can't speak to their lunch. Their average on Yelp is 4.3 which I think is justified. Give them a try!

The outside patio is beautifully decorated with lights, tables and chairs and greenery with foliage to create that natural outdoor vibe. When you enter, it's like walking into a small home where you greeted and seated by a hostess or server. There's a main great room and 2 smaller rooms that have seating as well and ambiance lighting throughout for intimate gatherings. The bathrooms are clean and fully stocked with necessities. As for the food, I got the Brussel sprouts salad without goat cheese which was delicious . It was about the size of my fist for $13. I assumed it was more of a tasting menu. My mother got the gnocchi which was described as delicious but lukewarm in temperature. She loved the beet salad however and the side of sour dough bread. My dad got a 13oz steak with potato purée. His steak was good in flavor however he described it as a bit too tough, and could have been more tender. Since he is a retired chef of 40 years I value his input. My other family members ordered the egg yolk ravioli which seemed a bit of a strange combination but certainly worked out in flavor. The labneh that was with the beet salad was also paired and eaten with the sourdough bread which seemed to be a great idea. Unfortunately the bolognese pasta was not tender enough for my family's liking. If you like pasta that way then you should be just fine. Over all it was fine dining and good. If you would like to go to a place where the portions are a bit larger I would suggest another place. But this is a nice casual dining intimate place for any special small occasion. Last but not least, Beth our server was kind and sweet. She was patient and very accommodating with great table manner and should certainly be recognized for her gracious nature and hospitality.

Was craving ice cream but from a local place nearby…read more This place is cash only and they do offer an ATM machine inside. You will notice young girls working here and I am assuming the owner is a italian or greek lady calling shots when a booth needs a server or cleanup etc. This is a cheap place to get diner style food and some of the burger baskets meaning burger no cheese with fries (no drink) start at $6.95 So here for ice cream - Started with a small cup of 1/2 and 1/2 maple walnut with rocky road. They go by cup on ice cream and not scoops. So a small cup they can give you 2 flavors if you want. I take advantage of this so I can try the array of favors that they do offer. The spcial flavors today was Key lime and Pistachio but they sold out. The other small cup was their homemade fruit sherbet which I chose watermelon and 1/2 coconut ice cream. So the ice creams were ok. The coconut stood out the most. The watermelon sherbet was refreshing but tad too sweet for me. I would probably go for the coconut again because it had shreds of coconut in it. Ordered the Chili Cheese Fries and for $4.95 it was a large amount very cheesey and full of chili with beans however it needed more salt to taste. I would def order this again. Tap water even with lemon still tasted "tap" so just be mindful. Service here was ok - but the girls do hustle and bustle.
