Vietnamese Bake Banana Cake - Bánh Chuối Nướng from The menu
    Lorine M.

Inside was clean welcoming. Was allowed to sit anywhere. The menu was decent sized. The goyza was a little over cooked, almost as if it was completely deep fried on all sides. The stir fry was good came out hot and the shrimp were cooked well. The noodles and the veggies had a little oil/greasy residue. The beef stew was amazing, the beef was very tender and the stew had great flavor. Forgot we had ordered the meat pie because it took a while to cook. (We were warned of this ahead of time) The meat pie was big on flaky phyllo dough but low on filling and did take 15 minutes. Felt like a miss. Nothing special about it. The desserts were by far the most disappointing. The "flan" was a smooth egg custard with no hint of sugar or anything. The banana cake was not sweet at all. It was warm soggy flavorless bananas cut into a cake. Also the cake as you can tell was nothing as it was representative of the menu picture. Nothing on the menu says these pictures are not what you are actually getting. Will be willing to try them again. Order different mains but not skipping out on the beef stew.

All around great meal, space and service!! Spring rolls were flavorful, fresh and satisfying! Pork sandwich and shrimp sandwich were excellent. They were so tasty and the bread was toasted perfectly. The best fries I've had in a long time--perfectly crispy outside and fluffy inside. We'll be back for sure.

Stopped in to place a takeout order. This was my first visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very cute and clean restaurant. Ordered stir fry noodles with chicken. Great portion of veggies and protein. I'll be back to try the pho.

Beef Stew Pho - Ph Bo Kho

I've been seeing all the hype about Eurasian bistro on Pensacola foodies and had to try it! Someone gave the beef stew pho a 1000/10 and I had to get some! I have to disagree with that rating and give it a 2000/10! This was hands down the best beef stew pho I've had, and I've had a lot of pho. I find that a lot of places that the broth is too thin and tastes mostly of cinnamon. While you could taste the cinnamon, it wasn't overwhelming. It was rich, a little spicy with lots of complex flavors that I can't begin to explain. I walked in and my food was ready. The guy at the register was very nice and welcoming. They had a robot running around serving tables. The restaurant was quiet with about 8 or 9 tables to sit down and eat. I'll definitely be paying them another visit soon!!

The place is beautifully decorated...simple yet very nice. It's extremely clean which we all look for in a restaurant! You can either order at the counter or at your table w/the QR code. We chose the counter bc I had a couple questions. I ordered the Crispy Noodles w/beef, a coke & fried cheesecake. My friend ordered Beef Pho, a type of beverage w/Artichoke in it (it was not very good according to him) and he also ordered fried cheesecake. I did enjoy my entree but next time I will pay attention to the ingredients as I do not like raw onions or Cilantro & it had both but that's on me! I just picked thru it the best I could. But the beef was SO tender and the dish had so much flavor. The portion was massive so I still have about 2 more meals out of it! My friend said he didn't see "onions" listed in his & he's allergic but was too polite to send it back so he just picked out what he could but still finished that giant bowl! I think we will both agree that the fried cheesecake was a definite no - at least for me. I think it had some type of caramel sauce drizzled on it that made it so sweet (and I just ADORE sweet things) that I just left mine on the table!

This place was very yummy. Clean, fast service, and tasty food. I will definitely return when I want Asian food in the area.

I am so pleased to be one of the first to review this place! Excellent banh mi sandwich - HIT the spot! Pho - delicious - got it for takeout so had to heat it up myself but WOW! Spring rolls crispy and loved the nuoc mam sauce. Flan - great flavor and yummy caramel. And of course the Vietnamese iced coffee- Perfect to fight the heat wave. Cools you off! My husband went in for pickup and as a EurAsian woman am so grateful to have a place near UWF as a go to! He said the place was immaculately clean. I can't wait to try it in person and check out the robots! I for one welcome the kitty cat robotics!!! The human counterparts were friendly as well! A great big Argonaut Welcome to the UWF & Pensacola community & beyond!!!!

Stopped by today for a quick lunch. This was my second time here and remains my favorite banh mi in the greater Pensacola area. My previous visit I got the pho, but I'm glad I branched out this time. The egg noodles with beef and vegetable were outstanding! Service was quick and friendly. The robot delivery was solid as well. Last visit she chirped "excuse me I'm trying to work" as my leg was seemingly in her way as she was leaving the table. If you haven't been, I highly recommend a visit for yourself!

Being over on the edge of campus at UWF's back entrance, Eurasian Bistro is on the other side of "The World" from where we live. We just don't typically get over there. Saturday was an exception. The weather was beautiful, the sun was out, the temperature was perfect, so the top and windows came off the Wrangler and we headed across town on Scenic Highway. We've never eaten at Eurasian Bistro so I was excited about giving it a try. When you walk into the restaurant there's a large open floor plan with a counter towards the back of the room where one or two employees were standing and the menus were hung above their head. This makes it appear to be fast food or fast casual at the very least. We asked if we ordered at the counter and were told yes, but we were also shown menus and told that we could take them to a table, then come back to the counter and order. When we got to the table we realized there was a whole QR code setup so we could order and pay without going to the counter. This is a bit confusing, but not majorly problematic so we pressed on. We decided to order from their app which was easy enough, and it allowed us to keep our tab open in case we wanted to order more food or drinks. Nice touch. The only downside is with the ordering situation and the robots that bring your food and take away old dishes means that the employees do not pay attention to the tables very much and our drinks came out way later than all the appetizers and entrees and we didn't see them for the most part unless we waved at them. Food wise.... I ordered Vietnamese Egg Rolls, and Vermicelli with Grilled Meat with added shrimp and an egg roll. Helen ordered Seafood Spring Rolls and a Savory Vietnamese Crêpe with no pork. I thought everything was wonderful except we didn't like the vermicelli in the spring rolls. It appeared to be tossed in Yum Yum sauce before being rolled. This was an unnecessary step to us. Helen's crêpe was delicious and super crunchy. It could have had more filling. She did ask for no pork but we wondered if they added anything to make up for the loss of it as a filling. As mentioned above, we clearly still thought it was good. Outside of the food I loved the way that they sealed my drink with the adhesive disk that I had to poke my straw through. I am a girl Dad and she is a freshman in college. I sent her to school with like a hundred of those disks for her drinks. I am happy to know that the college community here in Pensacola is taking the GHB (date rape drug) issue seriously. Way to protect our vulnerable girls Eurasian Bistro! Much appreciated!

Ban Savory Vietnamese Crêpe - Bánh Xèo

My wife and I were looking for an afternoon pick me up and stopped in for an iced coffee. It was just what we needed but after smelling all the fresh food we had to order some food to go. She fell in love with the wings and my daughter attacked the noodles. It was the perfect rainy date night food. My only regret was not ordering a second or third order of wings. The girls woke up the next day and made me take them back for more haha.

Glad we tried this restaurant. We moved here from California and have been having a hard time finding restaurants we like, especially Asian ones, but any food really. We have tried 3 or 4 Vietnamese restaurants before this one, and they're all just okay, and the interior besides one doesn't seem that clean and very old and unkept. This restaurant had tasty food, nice decor and interior, was clean, adequate seating, baby changing table, and friendly staff. My children, husband and I all likes the crispy noodles. My husband and I loved the Thai tea, and all of us also liked the basil chicken. I will be trying a rice dish next time.We definitely will be back and this will likely be our go to Vietnamese restaurant now.My husband got a pho too but I forgot to take a photo

After reading some of these poor reviews posted for 86 Forks, it comes to my attention. Why would anyone finish their meal, pay for it, and then take the time to go online to post a bad review? Why not take the time before hand to ask what a certain dish or meal is - its flavor profile, spice(s), heat, etc.? We did ask the chef and she was more than happy to take the time to explain the dish's concept and let us taste prior to ordering. Read all the good and the bad reviews and ask yourself: 1. If unhappy with the dish, why clear your plate? 2. If not completely satisfied, why pay the bill? Why? Because it's simply not true. People like this are never going to be satisfied or happy. Never. Try 86 Forks for yourselves. Don't be afraid to ask the servers or better yet, ask the chef to explain the concept or allow you to taste something if you're unsure. Be adventurous and make up your own mind - you will not be disappointed. Please remember, this is not a Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Philippine, Italian, Mexican, etc. restaurant. Rather it is a fusion of the best flavors, spices, food pairings, and textures from all these cultures presented in a creative and distinct manner. Recommend the Bulgogi Egg Rolls and the Miso Cream Gnocchi & Edamame.

Will not be returning and a highly recommend you go elsewhere downtown. 1. Spare pork Ribs were frozen in the center. Opinion: They clearly heat up pre-cooked from the freezer. Sauce was phenomenal on these, if they are cooked thoroughly next time this could be an excellent appetizer. 2. Side of Bok Choy was also frozen in the center of the largest piece. Opinion: Heated from frozen and precooked. 3. Chicken Kung Pao Fried Rice was soggy, had zero flavor and was overwhelmingly salted. I would have preferred a 3.99 rice bowl from the freezer aisle in Publix over this garbage. 4. Pensacola Spritz cocktail was almost entirely sugar and tasted like a Shirley temple. Server was nice and ambiance was fine. Utter shame this slop steals business from local businesses that put in a respectable effort. Our waitress was incredible, very knowledgeable and patient with my families questions about the menu. She made the experience that much better! Kind of one note, but still tasty. 7/10) -short rib clay pot (I didn't try this but my sister enjoyed it, 7/10) -Panang curry (a go to favorite, my niece is very happy to have another place in town to get it! She gave it a 10/10, I give it an 8. It was a little fishy for me and I prefer more liquid.) -eggplant in garlic sauce (this was a mixed reaction. My mom ordered it upon the waitresses advice that it wasn't too spicy but it actually ended up being too spicy for her to eat. I enjoyed it a lot though the texture of the eggplant was perfect and the flavors were very well balanced although it was the spiciest thing we had.8/10) -creme brulee milk tea with tapioca (I love boba but this was kind of boring.6/10) -cotton candy milk tea with rainbow jelly (14/10, the best I've ever had I think. I genuinely don't understand the good reviews for this place. My family owns several pho…read morerestaurants around the country, so I'm very familiar with what goes into a good bowl of pho, and this was incredibly disappointing. The pho was terrible. The broth lacked the rich, aromatic depth that you expect from pho. And they seriously need to rethink their homemade meatballs. They were about the size of a dime and were white instead of resembling the traditional beef meatballs I'm accustomed to. I'm not sure what meat they use, but the taste and texture were completely off. The spring rolls were somehow even worse. They had pickled carrots, basically one piece of lettuce, and NO fresh herbs. How do you even go wrong with a Vietnamese spring roll? It was easily one of the worst spring rolls I've ever had. The service made the experience even worse. There were four of us. Three people ordered bowls of pho, and we also ordered spring rolls. Our waiter forgot to put in the spring roll order entirely. We had to ask him several times about them, and by the time we finally received them, we ended up taking them home. Between the bland pho, bizarre meatballs, terrible spring rolls, and poor service, this was easily one of the worst Vietnamese restaurant experiences I've had. Don't waste your money. There are much better places to get Vietnamese food. I would never go back and absolutely would not recommend House of Pho.
