    Pork chow mein

Very disappointing. This was our first time here. We ordered egg rolls, won ton soup, egg drop soup, pork chow mein and the happy family. The won ton soup was in a brown tasteless broth and the noodles were undercooked. The egg rolls were nothing but cabbage with no flavor and the entrees were pretty bad. There was a lot of meat and veggies but no flavor. On the bright side the egg drop soup was very good. They had no hot mustard either. I hate giving bad reviews, but for the amount of money we spent the food should have been enjoyable. The pictures look good but are very deceiving.

Mr. Chen is our family favorite in Pensacola/Bellview as a go to for excellent Asian-American/Chinese food! A family owned and operated restaurant with high standards of service, including the food always served hot and delicious, fresh ingredients, and they have the preparation time down to a science. You never have to wait too long if you walk in and the time they give for pick up is always correct. Some of our favorite dishes include the different Lo Meins, Moo Shu Vegetables, General Tso's Chicken (chefs specialities), fried dumplings, Kung Po Chicken, and Sliced Beef in Chinese Tea Sauce (chefs specialties). Great local restaurant to support. Easy five stars!

Mongolian beef was a miss; Finding a good Mongolian beef place is like finding a four leaf clover; it really happens. Mongolian beef is more than just pepper steak and onions but unfortunately that's how most Chinese takeouts treats this great dish. The orange chicken was fine; not great/not bad. Same with the sesame chicken. I will say this place is just your typical local takeout Chinese place. Not good not bad just there.

The chicken was tough/old or overcooked, sparingly given and the rice was hard. The food was not its freshest!!

It's okay. Not my favorite place but my rice and noodles were pretty good. Service was good as well. Inside was okay.

For Chinese take out, this place was surprisingly really good and not too bad on the $$$. I would surely go again and recommend.

I've been meaning to try this place since it opened and decided to check it out for my birthday…read moredinner this year. Four of us went and we all enjoyed it. Our waitress was incredible, very knowledgeable and patient with my families questions about the menu. She made the experience that much better! Food wise we had: -seaweed salad (standard but yummy, 7/10) -spicy cucumber salad (a table favorite, 9/10) -potstickers (another favorite, my niece is ready to return for these alone! 10/10) -chicken clay pot with rice (really good, but I wish there was some veg in there or something? Kind of one note, but still tasty. 7/10) -short rib clay pot (I didn't try this but my sister enjoyed it, 7/10) -Panang curry (a go to favorite, my niece is very happy to have another place in town to get it! She gave it a 10/10, I give it an 8. It was a little fishy for me and I prefer more liquid.) -eggplant in garlic sauce (this was a mixed reaction. My mom ordered it upon the waitresses advice that it wasn't too spicy but it actually ended up being too spicy for her to eat. I enjoyed it a lot though the texture of the eggplant was perfect and the flavors were very well balanced although it was the spiciest thing we had.8/10) -creme brulee milk tea with tapioca (I love boba but this was kind of boring.6/10) -cotton candy milk tea with rainbow jelly (14/10, the best I've ever had I think. We will come back for this again and again.!) Overall it was a really great experience and the pricing was quite reasonable, we got all that plus a couple sodas for $108 before the tip. The atmosphere is good, well lit, roomy booths, very clean and we liked the music.

The curry she recommended was bomb, flavorful and definitely spicy if you love spicy food. The teriyaki chicken noodle, pork/beef vermicelli was really good too, seasoned just right. I also tried the pork for the first time and it was well seasoned and full of flavor. Definitely will be ordering again!
