Badly needing some quality meatballs and a salad, I ordered from here and was not disappointed. The meatball sub was quite yummy and the arugula salad was a taste sensation due to the strong tang of Gorgonzola. Life is good! We just finished some Flippers Pizza we had delivered to our hotel, after finding their (very intriguing) menu online. The whole experience was a mixed bag. Here are the details: Pros - We had a couple of special requests on our online order, and both pizzas were prepared exactly as we'd asked. Additionally, the delivery driver was conscientious enough to call when he was 3 - 5 minutes away, so I had plenty of time to get to the lobby and meet him. And along those same "great communication" lines, I had to call the pizzeria, after placing my online order, to ask for grated Parmesan, paper plates, and napkins. I spoke with Jack, who was GREAT on the phone & seemed very eager to help. Our delivery driver was also very kind and engaging. Cons - This was our primary complaint: while the pizzas were prepared exactly as we'd ordered, they were NOT hot when we received them. That's confusing for a few reasons. First, the Flippers location that delivered our pizza is exactly 1.0 miles from our hotel. Second, I met my delivery driver outside the front door, so there was zero delay between the driver's arrival and my receipt. Finally, it was fewer than three minutes from the driver's handoff to my family and I digging in. I can only guess the pizzas aren't transported in a properly heated and/or insulated carrying bag? Another issue with our order was floppy, undercooked bacon. (And since we ordered a modified Hog & Honey pie, bacon was a MAJOR component of the pizza.) The bacon was what my family would jokingly refer to as "snapback bacon," and since it was undercooked, it leaked grease onto the rest of the pizza around it. My last issue is a pretty minor one. It would be nice if there was an option on the online ordering system to request additional set-up items, like plates & napkins, and/or condiments, like grated Parmesan. Conclusion: I would consider eating Flippers again, but I would definitely dine in (no delivery), and I would request crispy bacon on my pie. It was pretty hard to tell if we actually enjoyed Flippers because, as a family that doesn't groove on lukewarm pizza, we don't feel as though we got a true representation of their product. read more

We ordered from Flippers with Uber Eat Delivery was perfect, fast delivery and pretty hot. The pasta was very tasty, the sauce did taste a bit different. I would kinda work on that. This pizza was really good! I was visiting the area and ordered it online to pick up as I drove by. The ordering was easy and they had coupons on their website to make dinner really reasonably priced! It only took about 10-15 minutes to make and was hot and ready when I arrived. The cashers were very friendly and quick to check out. The pizza tasted really good! The have a lot of different options for toppings, including different cheeses and vegetables, so you can really get creative. The sauce and crust are delicious. After 4 days of eating seafood in Panama City Beach, the family was ready for a more comfort food for dinner. We tried Flippers based on Yelp and it did not disappoint. It's just plain good, solid, tasty pizza. Just what the family needed. Where this location gets the fifth star for us is due to the employees. Our 9-year-old son left his 3DS there and we did not realize it was gone until 2 days later. To our surprise, it was still there. This was my first time at flippers and it was for a birthday party. I don't remember if I ever had flippers or not but I can say that it was amazing. Awesome service amazing food. The manage Brett was fantastic as well as the server Jesse and the rest of the staff. Came here for a birthday party as my nephews and niece love their pizza so my sister had my niece's birthday here. When she originally talked to the manager he said they normally do not do parties there but said we could come in and reserve tables. Party started at 2 we got there at 120pm and the staff was full aware of the party and was telling customers coming in that the dining room was closed for a party. For them not doing parties they were very accommodating and I would definitely be back. With the customer service there for over 30 people and all of our needs met. Great food,great location. We ordered a pasta Alfredo which was yum, a baked ziti with meatballs that I didn't try and endless Buffett of pizzas. I think there was at least one of each kind lol. I tried the Hawaiian and the cheese. Loved loved the cheese pizza. The Hawaiian was good but the cheese won me over. It was cooked just right and it was an open kitchen that we could see. I would definitely be back and have a glass of wine which they serve beer and wine with a nice pizza. Make sure you say Hi to Brett the manager but you may see him working in the kitchen. read more

Flippers is an all time favorite of my family. Tonight the phone operator, cashier and 2 pizza chefs were wearing masks and did an outstanding job. One chef never pulled his mask up from his chin. When I asked about his sloppy mask wearing, I was told he would be spoken to about my concerns. I know this is unacceptable behavior and they do too. Chose this location after having a great pizza at their Kissimmee location at the beginning of the week. They did not disappoint. We had left Universal and wanted dinner. This location is only 2 miles from the park and on the way to where we were staying. The pizza is a five star, but I gave four stars for the dine-in experience. They were very busy making many pizzas for pickup and delivery. The dining room was being handled by only one person. The tables needed to be cleaned so we could sit. Then it took some time to get our order of three pizzas: one medium and two "My Pies". Refills were slow. Not a horrible experience and seeing 4 people making pizzas and only one person handling the dining room, pickups, and cash register it was obviously a staffing issue, which seems to be the norm nowadays. Excellent service. Great customer service by Precious and the woman who took over after her. We got the steak and fire pizza and it was so fresh and so good. Little spice but not terrible. Added red pepper flakes and that was perfect. Pizza only took about 15 minutes to come out and we had a booth to sit in and enjoy it. Probably some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered a pizza without cheese. Called before I placed the order and was told it was not a problem. Placed the order for delivery with Grubhub. Even put a note reminding them we didn't want cheese on that pizza. The pizza came with cheese. Called the store thinking no big deal they'll make it right. Manager said no. We will not fix it. Call Grubhub it's their fault. I didn't realize the Grubhub driver goes back and cooks the food too. We did call Grubhub and they did make it right. Score for Grubhub. They reimbursed us for the pizza even though it wasn't their fault. To make matters worst the other other pizza we ordered was terrible. We couldn't even eat it. Eat at your own risk. I will never recommend using their pizzeria! Bad service and bad food. read more
