$9 each salted caramel and vanilla latte

Location and space is great , but I was super disappointed in the size of these $9 each salted caramel and vanilla latte ... these are desert or toddler sized sippy cups with just coffee and crème and syrup in them nothing special and we full to the top with ice and I was astounded and had to pic my jaw off the after I paid basically $20 for these two sample cups.. just to think that 10 of these would be $100 ... who ever came up with the idea that these were great cups were silly

I've had this place bookmarked for a while and what better time to visit than Coachella weekend one--when the west side is less crowded! I found parking easily and was second in line. They are dog friendly so I brought my pup. I ordered the Iced Matcha Americano with a cream top and Agua de Jamaica. The iced matcha americano was perfect--enjoyed the earthiness without the bitterness. The cream top was the only source of sweetness. The texture was nice. The jamaica was refreshing and wasn't overly sweet. The total was $18.60 including tip for both drinks. Staff was welcoming and service was quick. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is free but can be limited. Overall, my experience was positive and would come back whenever in the area.

I love how the great coffee just keep flowing in Venice Beach. FLO COFFEE BAR has limited indoor seats and none outdoors. The space is essentially a garage with the garage door open. Of course, it has been reno-ed so it is sanitary AND esthetic. The line "goes out the door" because there really isn't an "indoor". But not to worry, it won't be long before you make it to the front of the line and get to order your drink. I was ever so glad to see a "Nico" on the menu, but upon reading it, the "Scarlet" is what I ended up ordering.... and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. The roast they used is sufficiently strong. The spices were delicious. The location is a stone throws away from the end/beginning of Abbott Kinney. We were able to find a parking spot on the street nearby. There is no private parking lot. On a Saturday morning, it didn't take us long to find a spot. I'm not sure how it will be during the weekday. If you so need, there is a parking lot with meters a couple of blocks away. A "block" in this area is pretty short. The baristas know their regulars and are friendly to newbies like me.

Flo Coffee Bar is hot right now! My friend and I stopped by on Saturday morning to be met with a long line. We waited about 30 minutes to order and they were out of an ingredient for their main drink - The Nico - when we got to the front. So I liked the Nico but will forever wonder what it was supposed to taste like with the additional ingredient they ran out of. Staff was nice but wasn't really listening to us. We had to order a pastry three times before they heard us as they were laughing with their fellow employees. I love a good environment where people are happy to work ofc, but maybe also listen to the customers. No knocks given for this as I think it was just busy and they were trying to have fun with the business. That said, the donut we had wasn't great and I wouldn't get one again. The Nico was good but I don't think I'd get this drink again. Both items were fine but not great so I'm not dying to come back to try more. It really is a cute shop and they have some cool drinks but I must say I wasn't impressed on my first visit. I'd try something else on the menu next time I'm in though.

Flo Coffee Bar is hyped for a reason! I love the concept of such an open "hole-in-the-wall" coffee spot because it truly feels like such a neighborhood coffee spot, and they have the drink quality to back up the vibe. I got their most popular drink, and I love the attention to detail they put into the creation of every drink. I wish their cup sizes were bigger because I finished mine in record time, but I can tell their coffee is of really high quality.

Latte was excellent. Definitely not a spot for studying or hanging out for very long. Limited seating and what they do have is not comfortable. Lots of street parking nearby. By 9am on a weekday there was a small line.

    The signature "Nico" iced coffee

Discovering Flo coffee was like sitting in a classroom for an entire year, then turning around for the first time and realizing there was a hottie sitting behind you the whole time, and you never knew it..... AND they gave you their phone number! I work out daily down the street at Gold's, and drive by this place daily, and have only caught ephemeral glimpses of people gathering, but never really paid attention. Today, I decided to turn and look over, and discovered there was cute little coffee bar. I HAD to pull over and give it a try. Flo is owned by Gabe, who, after 20 years working in coffee, decided to open his own place. It's small, cozy, and absolutely delish..... just like that highschool hottie that sat behind me. I tried the signature iced "Nico" (coffee, maple cream top, cocoa powder), which is an amazing signature drink, but until I try a few more drinks, can only give 4 stars for now, but I have a feeling it'll be an easy 5 stars after a couple more visits! Note they're open Tuesday thru Saturday, 7am to 1pm.

I came on Saturday, and I got the Nico, which is one of their signature drinks, and it's not very sweet! It's a cute aesthetic coffee shop with a bit of seating! Giving it a 4 because they are only open until 1pm, not on Sundays/Mondays, parking can be tough, and it is pricey! I would still come back!

    Mazapan Latte

As I write this review, enjoying the flavors of my mazapan latte, hand crafted by the owner, Gabe. I want to say how flavorful this coffee is. Gabe's customer service is impeccable and gave us our coffee with a smile. Can't wait for my next one.

    Best coffee in LA!

I first started following Flo after trying their coffee at an art walk, and I was completely impressed. Behind every small business is an owner doing their best to make it, and if you know even a little of Gabriel's story, you'd be proud too, so it's nice to see him finally have a space of his own. As an owner-operator, he truly puts his heart and care into every drink. Yesterday, I finally stopped by the new shop and tried the Nico and the Hampton. Everything was excellent - the vibes, the customer service, and, most importantly, the hand-crafted beverages. The only thing I'd change is wishing I lived closer, haha.

really delicious coffee! everything we got (the nico, the scarlett, iced coffee) were incredible. prices are pretty steep--a regular matcha is $8.50 and a lot of the other coffees were $9. The size of the coffee is also pretty small for the price. BUT excellent vibe, cute neighborhood spot, great service, and decent amount of seating for being a small location

This place is in my top coffee spots. I live nearby, and I can confidently say it's the best coffee around. The atmosphere is very pleasant. I love stopping by on Saturday mornings and during the week. You must check this place out

Dear Yelp Community, I visited this venue for the first time during February. I really liked the coffee shop design (with an art gallery inside). Small and intimate, so, if you would like to have a seat, there may not be one available. The owner is an award-winning drink artist (see photograph). I ordered the cortado, and the coffee was noticeably smooth (not acidic), so I told the staff, and I was informed the shop creates its own blend. I highly recommend trying this shop. Enjoy, and well wishes. Sincerely, Anna

It's one of those spots that's worth the occasional splurge because the quality is just that good. The Spanish Latte is easily one of my favorites and a must-try if you're visiting for the first time. But if you know about the secret menu... sheeeesh. I'll have to gatekeep that one. Let's just say it's hands-down the best latte I've ever had. Perfect balance, amazing flavor notes, and one of those drinks that makes you stop and appreciate how good coffee can actually be. The atmosphere is just as great as the coffee. There are games to play, cozy corners to hang out in, and little hidden gems throughout the shop if you're paying attention. It's the kind of place where you can grab a drink and end up staying way longer than you planned. A true Venice classic and still one of the best coffee spots I've ever been to. Staff is amazing and just feels just a community, they make the experience feel incredible for just getting a coffee

I didn't want to waste the drink so I kept sipping it but you know it's not a good drink if it's been a couple hours of doing laptop work and you still aren't finished with the drink. I ended up just tossing the rest. Maybe the other drinks and coffee lattes can be better but yeah. On the other hand, this spot is spacious with high ceilings and a nice set-up for a cafe!!! One corner is the cafe area where you can order and the other side is where you can sit around or do some desk work on one of the tables. I'd say there is about 2 outlets so you should be prepared to have to wait for one of those seats to open up. The couch here is comfortable but sadly, you can tell that they've been very worn down since there is big spots that sink you right in. Lovely decor nontheless and there's a pretty good aesthetic going on. Prices are pretty reasonable!!! Parking lot across from this spot. Also the ladies here kind of belted out their laughters very loudly even though they are in the corner and it can be disruptive, but it's alright. It just happened very often, even when they climbed upstairs, so it kind of changed the ambiance but nothing too bad. As of now I would probably not want to come back here again, but I would possibly be open to joining a friend here to chill.

The staff are dressed in matching white t-shirts and pants, and the shirts say "All-Day Cafe." However, we walked in a little after 3:00 PM and found out we couldn't order smoothies (which end at 3:00) or breakfast items (which end much earlier at 11:00). For an "all-day cafe," that felt like a bit of a misrepresentation. Since it was very, very hot outside, I was disappointed that they were serving lukewarm water. Unfortunately, there was no vegan pizza on the menu, but our first waiter was very, very nice and friendly, and he had the kitchen accommodate us by omitting the cheese, substituting olive oil for chili oil, and adding spinach. The pizza turned out to be very thin, but yummy, and my party also enjoyed the ceviche. I had an iced coconut coffee that was absolutely delicious. After our first waiter ended his shift, our second waiter, Mike H., took over the table and never checked on us not even one single time after someone dropped off the food. When a small issue came up with one of the plates, he was just so nonchalant and dismissive, and Mike didn't add to the ambiance of the place at all. Fortunately, I believe it was a manager who then stepped in with a smile and addressed the issue, which was really nice. Aside from that unfortunate service experience, the food and drinks were tasty, but the misleading menu hours, lukewarm water on a hot day, and inattentive waiter definitely left room for improvement.
