Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I prefer not to write reviews but in this case fair warning to all the other customers. AVOID SHELLIE the CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR. Not sure how she is a customer service supervisor let alone employed there. As a representative of a brand/company the tone/attitude, looks that were given, and so on and so forth have a big impact on whether you want to come back to a place, but the out right disrespect was infuriating. Was very difficult to stand their biting your tongue when someone is blantantly aggressive. I would like to chalk it up to a bad day on her part and give her the benefit of the doubt but nope, I was fortunate enough to ask her a question over the weekend so it wasn't a one time thing. Other than that the manager and other supervisor I dealt with there were extremely helpful in answering questions and the store is very well kept. My wife and I have been to the Fullerton location twice, the 2nd time today. We are remodeling our small home and are looking at everything from flooring to bathroom tile. Floor and Decor has a great selection of flooring and tile, and we were approached by three floor associates asking if we needed any help. All good so far. We selected a sample of engineered hardwood to take home and I got in line at the checkout counter. There was one checker dealing with 5 people in line (on a Saturday). I waited 15 minutes to check out a sample of wood flooring. I think management needs to take a look at how to adequately staff the checkout counters so people don't have to wait so long. that's my only complaint. We've come to this store a couple of times this month, and in both instances James 'Jimmy' Mitzel has been extremely helpful. He listened closely to what we were trying to create in terms of a walk in shower, and a vanity area, he made a lot of great suggestions, and pulled together pieces that we would've never been able to find that made sense for the aesthetic we had in mind. What should've taken 1/2 hour took 2 hours. No one helped me until finally one person did, he was very knowledgeable and really helpful. No one else knew anything. I was in Floor &Decor on April 4th & 5th and had the BEST SERVICE!!! Our Consultant was Kevin Perry 11!!!! He was FABULOUS!!! He rushed to get tiles and designed my bathroom for me!!!!! He is the most courteous employee that has ever helped me!!!! He helped me pick out tiles borders colors and much more. We came back the second day to pay for the materials and had to change our mind because one item is no longer available. Worst store ever. They never answer their phones. Time and time again. If you are doing a project and need help, or ideas forget it. In the middle of a project and can never get through. Called many times at different hours in the middle of a project and needed to talk to someone and had questions. Just gave up. Bought most of the things we need for part of a remodel. In the store the employees were nice and helpful. The managers need some business advice. Your first important image is how prompt and delightful your people answer the phone. We started a remodeling project at home that included two bathrooms. As usual, contractors were running behind, giving us mixed schedule, and all of a sudden, we were told that we needed the tiles within a couple of days. I was told by a friend of mine that Floor and Decor is a good choice because they have a large selection which is usually all in stock, but that their prices were a little high. So, my wife and I decided to go and take a look. When we went in, we immediately liked the selection and the variety that they had. Moreover, because we have been looking around, we actually found that their prices were very competitive, and actually better than other places, such as hardware stores, or other wholesalers. Everybody there was very helpful, but I want give a shout and special thanks to Emmanuel Nersessian, the assistant manager that helped us with choosing the right tiles, ensuring that we have the right quality and quantity for the application, and that we have all the other supplies as well, so we don't hit snag. Not only was he helpful and courteous the first time, but also everytime we went to the store. One time, he was actually off and heading home, and I didn't know, so seeing him, I asked him a question. He answered me, and spent a while to help me out with my inquiry, and then come to find out, he was already off the clock and heading home! Thank you Manny for all your help. Actually 1 star is way to good for this place. After spending a few thousand dollars at FAD we needed another piece of granite so we ordered on line sent someone from palmdale Ca to pick it up when he got there to girl told us that our order was in San Gabriel after bickering with her she saw that the order was there. Next they told us that they can't put the granite in the truck that we brought because it didn't have an A frame enough we have done this with them several times at other locations the truck we had was a commercial van set up for this kinda of stuff.. the store manager whatever his name (trying to be nice) told us no way they wouldn't put the granite in the Van.. there was nothing on line or anywhere stating what kind of vehicle you need for this after this very rude man refused us after doing this several times with this Van. We got a refund and went to home depot no worries and gave us 5% off for what we went through. Moral of the story don't use them go to people who know what their doing and maybe OSCA needs to get involved... service was horrible employees rude especially when service is during the Corona virus you'd think with slow business they would of been on their a game Sucks to be them read more
