I went to Floor and Decor last week looking for product to redo our guest bath. I had an appointment with Sara. I knew the color tones for the room I wanted. We had a fun 1 1/2 hr. meeting in which I picked out shower tile and flooring, flooring for the room, counter top granite and backsplash. We tried to purchase 30 travertine tiles and we were promptly surrounded by 2 associate than the manager , Jon. He said we cannot select tiles on our own. Regardless if they sell by the pieces and provide a shopping cart. Even if the tile is filled with 6 in odd looking filler. I planned on buying over $1000 in product that trip. After his unwilling effort to provide a solution and smart ass remarks we left discussed. went to pick up tile for our bathroom remodel - best prices that i could find - and called to confirm that they had it in stock. they set aside the 11 boxes i needed and helped me load it into my car. i had read that they have complimentary interior designer consultations so i also inquired and was impressed at the professional and helpful advice that i received for our kitchen remodel. great selection (although might be overwhelming), helpful service, clean, great prices - definitely recommended. read more

One stop huge flooring store! We were quickly greeted and asked if we needed help. Once we were directed to the area of ceramic/porcelain tile we were asked again if we needed help. We browsed on our own then found exactly what we wanted and then he patiently walked the floor with us to find a coordinating tile. He then grabbed a cart and loaded us up, carted us to check out then loaded our car for us. I like this Floor & Décor better than the Norco store. This store is very well organized, the people who work there are very helpful and since I was looking for Travertine I really wanted to pick out my own tile for the 2 small bathrooms that we are doing. I didn't want to buy cases of tiles because of the small spaces as there wouldn't be a place to hide imperfections. We found what we were looking for at a reasonable price and Rudy (which I made a point in remembering) helped us find just the right tiles, load up the cart and load our truck as well, you rock Rudy! Thanks for paying attention and helping us. We live in the High Desert, but we will be back for our backsplash tiles for our kitchen and bathroom wall tiles as well and anything else we may need. Only come to this location if you have TIME TO WASTE! Because they will waste your time. I was calling around to different locations to find flooring. I called this location and was told they have the piece I needed. The representative said she put 2 pieces on hold for me and to come to register 4. I come to the store and no one could find the piece. Another person told me they are unsure how anything could have been put on hold when the system shows they haven't had that piece for weeks. Everyone I asked looked at me confused rather than try to assist. Umm who did I speak to...Because they took my name and told me where to come when I arrived? That's a lot to go through if you didn't have the piece at all. Even worse that was a waste of my time to drive to a store that apparently hasn't had the piece for weeks. I will never come back to this location. I appreciate an honest and efficient shopping experience and unfortunately this floor and decor ain't it. I'll pass. read more

Rave reviews for the team at this Floor and Décor location. Nicole was our sales person and she helped us through the entire process....calculating square footage, matching tile, grout, sealer....everything. Nicole said she was new to that department but we certainly couldn't tell! James was also very helpful as we were working out the logistics of loading our truck. And if it couldn't get any better, I called the store hours later and spoke with Cynthia. I asked her to text me a picture of the worksheet that showed the patter for the Versailles tile. My GC needed it to show his guys how to lay the tile. I had it within two minutes! How refreshing to get such outstanding customer service. Kudos to the F&D team! read more

Went to both the Norco store and the Fullerton store. The Fullerton store seemed much bigger with a much larger selection of hardwoods. Both stores had nice attentive staff. I went to Fullerton store first just to check what they had. The next week I went to Norco. Unfortunately the tile I picked out at Fullerton store, which was a light gray, was not the same color at Norco. So I'll be going back to Fullerton store to buy the one I saw there. read more

Had a great experience here. Good products and prices. The store is new at this time and it is notable that the staff is getting their bearings. However, for being new, I felt they were very professional and approachable. Livia and Emanuel assisted us in buying laminate and it's accessories. Not sure how long Livia has been in the industry but she was very knowledgeable and I appreciated how she figured things out quickly if she was unsure. They both We'll surely be back! read more

Came here for a grout repair and they were super helpful; Rich and Al explained the process of getting it repaired. They made great recommendations on re-grouting since I was getting another bathroom redone. Very helpful and knowledgeable versus going to their competitors store and always looking for someone to help you; the number of times I've come here they are always offering to help out. We drove 33 miles north of our home to schedule an appointment with Melanie DiMeo, the Design Assistant Manager at Floor & Decor. We have had two appointments with her. She is extremely attentive, patient, and knowledgeable about the products that Floor & Decor sells. As an added bonus, she also provided her expertise advice on products to use since she has also remodeled her own home. We have visited several Floor & Decor locations and Melanie was the first design consultant to help us visualize how the overall look of how the flooring and kitchen backsplash tiles would look together. She used the kitchen cabinet and island counter color cabinet samples we brought along and displayed them with the kitchen flooring and backsplash tiles we were considering. I highly recommend customers to go see Melanie. read more

I called the Pro Services desk to get purchase tile for a client job. The associate took my order and was to email the estimate to me. He put me on hold but ended up hanging up (of course I called right back). He confirmed that they had the amounts that I needed and we ended the call so that I could wait for the email to pay for my order. This call was at 9:45am! I called the store back at 3:30pm because I had not received the email (yes I checked my spam folder). Not only did nobody answer their phones after me calling 7 times, when I actually got through I was put on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called back and was told that there was nobody available to assist me and the associate from earlier had gone home for the day. I asked for a manage and was told," they are busy deal dealing with other issues now". She put me on hold for 10 more minutes and I ended up having to call a different store to place my order. I was told that my order was started at 9:46 at the Fullerton store but they never completed it. My guess is the associate got sidetracked and forgot. This store needs serious Customer service training and it starts at the top unfortunately. I will never purchase from this location. read more

I am getting new floors in and re doing my master shower. I was referred to Floor&decor by my contractor cesar from vallin bros contractors . I got to say Joel from pro services really made me feel like a VIP customer. He really went out of his way to take his time and help me chose my vinyl floor and tile for my shower. I would give this place a 0-rating, but I am not here to ruin the stores name, I am here to share my experience of how poorly I was treated from one of the employees. Their cashiers supervisor, Shellie, is the worst employee you will ever come in contact with. I have read some reviews on yelp in regards to how she treats customers and it was 100% true. Shellie is beyond unprofessional. I asked to speak to a manager because I had a question in regards to my transaction. I over heard her tell a manager over the phone to come to the front, and that I was "one of THOSE customers". When I asked her to please be patient with me, and that I head what she said, she blew off at me and started yelling at me in front of customers and employees instead of apologizing or changing her attitude. She also repeatedly said "you make no sense" because I wanted an answer to my question. I titled my head to be able to see her name tag because she really upset me at this point. She got super close to me over the registers desk, poped her chest up and repeatedly asked me to take a picture. It was disgusting and inappropriate behavior and she rolled her eyes multiple times when I asked her to stop doing that. Then when I told her that I will be contacting the corporation, she walked off from her desk and left me without completing my transaction or having someone else help me. I was at her desk from 45 to 50 minutes in total waiting. The situation was more dramatic then this, but this is just a summary of what has happened. I have a serious medical issue that was finally being controlled by doctors, and she flared it back up. She caused me more emotional and physical distress. She is the worst employee to ever deal with, so beware if you go to that location and have someone else help you. read more

Great selection and affordable prices. The store is well laid out and easy to navigate unlike some of the places over at St. College. Every product is labeled with prices, which is a great help. Maybe not the place for a super high end remodel job but should be applicable for 95% of all projects in the area. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location with plenty of parking. read more

Terrible customer service. The workers here move on snail pace. Does it takes 2 person to block an area? The men just leave the customer waiting and waiting to get the products. After 30 minutes of waiting I got tired of waiting, o took my 20 boxes of wood and loaded my own wood into my car. There was a female worker who did help me with the remainder of my wood. I will not be coming back to this location. The Santa Ana location has better service. read more

Absolutely the single worst large retailer I have ever dealt with. So many huge mistakes by them on a hardwood floor order that it is truly mind boggling. Good marketing drew us in from way out of our home area. We special ordered floor and when we arrived with the truck we rented to pick it up it was all wrong. They then told us what we ordered wasn't available for order any longer and that is was some sort of mistake. We got up-sold on other special order flooring but their sample boards hide the truth-that the "wood" part you see is the very thinnest veneer you could possibly have. Wasn't apparent because the sample is set into a recessed frame that prevents you from seeing a cross-section of the product. I have no doubts that this is intentional. Product arrived and we quickly realized we paid high dollar for basically a bunch of cardboard with a thin layer of plywood on one side and even thinner "wood" layer on the other. The most minimal damage from dropping a utensil is enough to break through the veneer. Complete garbage! Now we are seeing that the veneer has begun to split and discolor. Add to that the fact that we ordered stair nosing for our steps with the original order of different type of product and the "experts" in Floor & Decor's wood floor department failed to switch all of that out for nosings to match the replacement product. I went round and round for months with them trying to have them special order a custom match that would be usable with our flooring to no avail. I finally searched around and found a large custom cabinet and wood furniture company with high tech CNC mill that found a matching wood and was able to perfectly create proper nosings (at a big cost in my time and money). So now I wait to see how F&D will respond to my complaint about flawed splitting flooring product that we covered our entire home with. And of course wouldn't you know it....the product is no longer available so if it's just one box of defective product not much we can do. If this problem progresses and more of our floor presents this issue we'll need to replace everything! Can't wait to hear what they tell me after reading my claim. It may be time for a lawyer. I would avoid this company. They don't know what they are doing. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, well I would! First off, I walk up to the counter requesting to purchase tile, the cashier was finishing up with another customer and was instructed by another guy standing there to help us, then he said "I will help you but let me put something in the back and I will help you in five minutes" so we waited and decided to walk after I seen another customer approach requesting the same tile. There was 8 boxes left on one paleand 3 papers full behind when we reached the tile, unfortunately they didn't have anyone certified for operating the fork lift, like HELLO, you have a bunch of people working but no one certified. Then they check in the back only to find it's the same situation. So now we have to come back tomorrow just to pick up the tile after driving 30 minutes with a trailer to get it. Then they said they had 29 pieces of trim, only 4 on the floor which we needed 6. Those pieces were no where to be found, of course. Customer service absolutely sucked and they had no remorse for being short on supplies and help. read more

I was looking into having my floors re-done with vinyl plank flooring. My husband and I were looking to get 3 quotes before making a decision on an installer and a company to purchase the materials from. It was very difficult pinning down someone from floor and decor to come and measure. After a week goes by before receiving a callback to schedule an appointment the guy never shows up. He doesn't answer the phone and is completely MIA. Floor and Decor apologizes and sends us a another guy to measure and he is able to come the very next day. He promises us that we will get the estimate via email by the end of the day but it never comes... We do receive a confusing email from Floor and Decor but some very confusing information as we are still missing all of the measurements and there is a lot of miscommunication between the contracting company and Floor and Decor... Long story short... out of the 3 places (Lowes, Floor and Decor, and Sterling) Floor and Decor was not the best deal and gave us the most uneasy and most disorganized feeling of the 3. They don't have many choices for Vinyl plank flooring and there are much better deals to be found. My advice is to look around- we went with Sterling and were very happy! read more

I was over their picking up some tile that was paid for and swapping tiles cuz tiles were all different size and wrong size and they made it very difficult to fix issue. Came to this store looking for kitchen tile. An associate by the name of Joey approached us and asked if we needed any help. He stayed with us to show us many tiles based off of what we described to him. The variety that they have is amazing and their prices are much less than other places. Unfortunately the tile we picked wasn't in stock so he directed us to the Santa Ana store. We drove down there and what a difference! The Santa Ana store isn't as clean and the customer service stinks. They had the tile but not the time for us. We left and went back to the Fullerton store. Even though we chose a different tile we are extremely happy with our choice. Joey was extremely helpful as well. For everyone that does home improvements you need to go to this store.
