I purchased flooring and was told that the T molds were not in stock and would take a month for delivery. I was fine with that and went ahead with the order. Once the contractor told me how many T molds, I needed, I returned to the store. When the manager was ringing it up, she mentioned that I was being charged $20 freight charge for the T molds. Most companies on Amazon include free shipping. Not only do I have to wait one month for these moldings, but I have to pay the freight charge. I should have been advised of this initially when I was purchasing this product (Hydroshield). read more

This is the second time I've waited at the checkout line for over 20 minutes with only 2 registers open! These cashires need to pick up the pace, I mean come on! How hard is it to move people through a register line where most items don't even have to be bagged?! I love their selection, but the checkout line is horrible, not to mention the manager is just standing there not calling for backup cashires. Came to this store looking for kitchen tile. An associate by the name of Joey approached us and asked if we needed any help. He stayed with us to show us many tiles based off of what we described to him. The variety that they have is amazing and their prices are much less than other places. Unfortunately the tile we picked wasn't in stock so he directed us to the Santa Ana store. We drove down there and what a difference! The Santa Ana store isn't as clean and the customer service stinks. They had the tile but not the time for us. We left and went back to the Fullerton store. Even though we chose a different tile we are extremely happy with our choice. Joey was extremely helpful as well. For everyone that does home improvements you need to go to this store. After roaming the store for an hour just getting more and more confused here comes Manny swooping in and helping us make a choice and doing the math instantly in his brain knowing how many boxes we needed. So happy we came to this floor & decor instead of the one close to home! My father wanted to make sure I left the review and give the biggest of thank yous to Maria!!! My dad went in with every intention of finding the cheapest and best deals for our soon to be remodeled bathroom... but for the first time in who knows how long Maria got him to just buy without looking at the price tag! We got the best quality while still staying in the budget, but from the moment we walked into the store to the moment we walked out she stayed patient with us! The selection was so big and slightly overwhelming that I feel like without Maria my dad would've been stressed and doubting himself. My husband and I went shopping for tile. We had someone from the Norco store call and placed in hold 38 boxes of tile. When we got there, we were immediately greeted and help. Incredibly rude lady. This place really needs to work on their customer service. I asked a question to an employee; she simply ignored me. I had to ask her whether she was ignoring me on purpose. She still wouldn't answer. I'm never returning to this store again. If the managers don't get their act together and train their employees right, this store will inevitably close down. read more

I love floor and Decor. Customer Service is awesome! We just recently became home owner's and a lot of questions regarding different floors. The staff were always so kind to answer and advice me on what to buy. Jacob was very detailed and helpful when we were making our first purchase. He went a around and showed us what exactly we needed. He was very patient. Samantha at check out was also very kind and always had a smile on her face. After purchasing materials and floor, Cassey in the warehouse, helped load the tile and made sure I was okay with them loading a pallet into my truck. He made sure the weight was okay for my truck. It is with pleasure that I wholeheartedly endorse the Floor & Decor Fullerton store and would like to recognize its great staff. I am in the middle of a major remodeling and have been shopping around. The customer service and support at the previously visited stores was disappointing. Fortunately, I just stopped by the Floor & Decor Fullerton store, and the kind of attention I received from Sara, Vanessa and the department manager Jim was very refreshing. In just a few hours I was able to select all the material, and spend approximately $7000 plus, a process which typically would have taken days. In particular I would like to whole heartedly recognize Sara, whose talent, passion to help her customers and work ethic is unparalleled. She spent hours with us, even after the store was closed and had same energy throughout. Her dedication, genuine desire to understand her customers' needs and provide appropriate solutions, and her maturity is exemplary. I would also like to express my gratitude to Jim, the department manager who expeditiously resolved all issues we came across, and made the entire process very easy and flexible. Even though he was quite busy, he took time to ensure we had all of our questions answered to satisfaction, truly demonstrating the pride he takes in making his customers very happy. The shopping experience was great! Customer service was awesome. They even allowed us to stay until a couple of minutes after they closed... fast forward to returning the leftover tile... I got to the store at 6:05pm to return 8 pieces of tile ($1.98) and a couple of accent strips ($12.98 each). I park and notice an employee is bringing carts is so I kindly tell him I'll take one off his hands so I can loads the tiles and return them. He informed me they closed at 6, however he asked an employee via his radio if I could still come in and return the tiles, a males voice comes over the radio in a sarcastic voice "Robert, were closed!" Its disappointing that they'll allow customers to stay late to spend their money, however they won't allow me to come in a couple of minutes after closing to return items for the money I spent there... It was my first time and last time going there. I bought some marble tiles from them. One box of the tiles were different color and I took them back for exchange jut to get a different box. They called the manager and she wouldn't exchange because it was on special when I bought them. Even though they agreed to break down the load into pallets that would comfortably haul in a stock pick-up truck, apparently they are unable/unwilling. The customer service here is on point. From the second I walked in, I was being offered help and everyone seemed genuine. This guy Jacob was really cool he was all over the place trying to find stuff I was looking for, answered every question and/or found the answer to my questions. He really helped out. And the guy doesn't even earn commission! But the only problem I had which was a big problem was the cashier Tausha. She rung me up for the wrong product. I purchased a large quantity of tile as well so to ring me up incorrectly was pretty disappointing. I had to drive back to Fullerton from riverside, where I live, to fix this problem because the manager wouldn't allow a transaction over the phone. I wasted time and gas to correct this. So, customer service was excellent on the floor! But just make sure your paying for the right product. Don't rush out of there, take your time to thoroughly go over the purchase with the cashier or you just might have to go through what I had gone through. read more

A friend suggested I check out this place for our bathroom remodel and I was pleasantly surprised! Very clean, organized, wide aisles, well lit with a big selection of items. When I go to Home Depot or Lowes I feel like everything is crammed into 2 aisles. We've bought tile before on state college but this will be the new place to go. You can buy and return samples and you can return or exchange products - not like the other tile place that is popular but has a no return no exchange policy. Thx F & D! read more

I was looking for tile for my bathroom remodel and i cannot rave enough about the excellent customer service. That was what REALLY a stood out to me. I was asked many times by various workers whether I needed help with anything. I asked last minute for and designer consultation and Wendy, the designer, was more than happy to assist me. She was very patient and very helpful. Unfortunately, I didn't find tile that worked for my remodel, but will definitely come back for any future projects.
