Since I knew I would be waiting, I politely asked if I could use the restroom. I was told no. I initially assumed there had been a misunderstanding, so I explained that I wasn't a random passerby looking for a public restroom. I was there to pick up an active DoorDash order and would be waiting while they finished preparing it. Unlike employees who have a workplace with designated break areas and restroom access, delivery drivers spend their entire workday on the road. We don't have a home base to return to between orders. Because of that, we often rely on the basic courtesy of restaurants and businesses we partner with while conducting pickups and deliveries. Most businesses understand this and treat drivers respectfully. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. What happened next was what bothered me most. Rather than simply explaining their policy and treating me with basic courtesy, the employees largely stopped engaging with me altogether. They avoided eye contact, ignored my attempts to communicate, and acted as though I wasn't standing there. It was an incredibly dehumanizing experience. After waiting several more minutes, I said, "I could have been done by now." The only response I received was, "It's not for the public." I again explained that I was there for an active pickup and was waiting on an order that still wasn't ready. Once again, I was met with silence. To be clear, I completely understand that businesses located on busy commercial streets cannot allow every random person who walks in off the street to use their restroom. That's not what this situation was. I was there performing a service directly connected to their business. DoorDash drivers are part of the fulfillment process that allows restaurants to participate in DoorDash, reach additional customers, and generate revenue from delivery orders. I wasn't asking for special treatment--just the basic courtesy of using the restroom while waiting on an order that they were still preparing. What makes this even more frustrating is that if the order had been ready when I arrived, I would have already been gone. The only reason I was standing there waiting was because of the restaurant's delay. At that point, I decided to unassign myself from the order, even though it was a high-paying delivery. If a business is unwilling to show basic respect to the drivers helping deliver its orders, then it can find someone else to complete those deliveries. I will also be reporting this experience to DoorDash so they are aware of how drivers are being treated at this location. To fellow Dashers: I strongly encourage you to decline orders from this establishment and spend your time supporting businesses that treat delivery drivers with professionalism and basic human dignity. To potential customers: please consider whether this is the kind of business you want to support. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, including the people helping get your food to your door.

They specialize in the cuisine of the Minas Gerais region of Brazil. The menu seems to be small (four entrees when I visited), and the choices rotate. I assume that's to keep these family style meals fresh. When I visited the focus was on meat and rice dishes. They come in medium or large collapsible boxes. I ordered the Arroz Carreteiro, which was a stew flavored rice with beef, pork sausage and bacon. The rice was savory, and had good texture, flavor and color. There was a generous amount of meat, and the flavors were punctuated by fresh herbs and acidic, slightly spicy red pimento peppers. They a have a machine that fresh squeezes orange juice. The juice was terrific. I also ordered passionfruit mousse, which was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and helpful. Box Mineiro has a number of tables and counter seating for dine in. Nothing fancy, but the branding is fun. The cool boxes they serve the entrees in, make the entrees very transportable as well. Box Mineiro is worth checking out for sure. 4.25 Stars

There are over 350 franchised stores in the U.S. Their process is, picking the most quality tea leaves, brewing it at the correct temperature, and steeping it for the right amount of time. The tea leaves are from Taiwan and it's brewed every 3 hours; the boba is cooked every 2 hours. The strawberry lemonade and orange green tea are made from freshly squeezed juices. On this visit at the WeHa location, I was walking by and had to pop in. I ordered the small milk tea with grass jelly and normal sweetness. I loved everything about the drink. They had so many flavors to choose from, I was having analysis paralysis. There were signs to download the Kung Fu Tea app for discounts. There were plenty of seating and the place looked clean. The customer service was good. I look forward to going back to try out their other menu items.

I usually opt between some sort of Matcha or green tea of sorts, but I absolutely love their Boba and nata jelly.
