This is a really cool local hang out. Looks like a fun place to enjoy a drink and to catch up on local goings on. We have enjoy lunch here twice and the food and service were both on point. Michelle was our friendly server this visit, and she took great care of us. My wife enjoyed a nice salmon salad, served on chilled Bibb lettuce with a nice balsamic dressing. My ABBB burger was perfectly prepared and sat on a nicely toasted brioche bun. Thick slabs of avocado and health sticks of crisp bacon layered with cheddar cheese...so good! And pickles! Yum! No dessert this time but we did enjoy our Arnold palmers, with refills to boot. Menu items are a bit pricey here, but the entrees are well portioned and the service was great. My hubby and drove up from Ridgeway on a rainy weekday and the town was a little dead but we walked around as we had never been to Telluride. Decided to grab a cocktail and a burger here and it certainly did not disappoint! It was empty at 3 pm that day but customers trickled in closer to 5 which gave us a chance to converse a little with the bartender who was supper congenial and made a great cocktail ! Our server, Kara Lynn was adorable! She reminded ne of one of my own daughters and is mature beyond her years. We chatted with her a bit and had a lot in common. We both got the chills when we were leaving and she asked me my sign and I told her then she asked my birthday and turned out we had the same birthday! Stopped here for lunch with a friend. She ordered a burger and said it was ok. I ordered the Chicken Waldorf Salad and it was terrible. The chicken was dry, stringy, flavorless. It was definitely NOT a Waldorf salad. Shredded apples, walnuts, carrots, and onions on top of an "over dressed" pile of decomposing greens. The shredded chicken was placed around the edges of the plate. Basically an hours old house salad with a bunch of stuff scattered on top instead of incorporated into the dish. Blech! read more

We were told about this gal while in Ouray so of course we needed to try it. She said they had a nice selection of different foods, but that all their food was good. We had a hard time deciding, but after asking our waitress, she said they made amazing hamburgers. She was correct! We never spend $20 for a burger even splitting, but we did. It was well worth it as it was definitely large enough to split. The burger was stacked high, meat cooked medium and very tasty and juicy. The bun was nice and soft. And the panko crusted avocado was something new to us, but man it was perfect on the burger. The cheese was nice and gooey. Loved the nice green leaf lettuce on it. I'd definitely order this again and split it. I was stuffed especially with the nice shoe string fries that came with it which were nicely cooked. Not overdone which makes this type of fry dried out. There were other nice options in case fries aren't your jam. Loved the old style salon for the restaurant. Also outdoor seating under their homemade street seating. Seemed to us the hostesses were in training which was good to see. Our waitress was kind and attentive giving us the time we needed to figure out what we wanted to eat. Loved that she helped us decide. My husband ordered a Kendall Jackson cab and of course it was okay. I unfortunately ordered a cocktail (name forgotten) that had strawberries and it had quite bitter after taste so I chose not to keep it since it was $14. If you're looking for excellent restaurant in an amazing ski town this is your place. The quality of food and the preparation is outstanding by one of the top chefs that had study at Cordon Bleu in Scottsdale az. Roscoe is the main man in the back and he can make anything spectacular for a meal. This is a family run restaurant that has been around for many years and will continue. When you're dining you'll may get a chance to meet most of the family (mom: Flora and dad: Charlie).The intimacy of the restaurant welcomes anybody and location is right off Main Street. If you're looking for a great meal this is your place but not breaking the bank. One simply cannot visit the town of Telluride without eating at the Floradora Saloon. It may not be as old as the mountains that surround it, but the Floradora, a landmark by its own name and favored by the locals, definitely exudes the likeness of an old mining town saloon. With its rich wood walls, beamed ceiling and rustic bar finished off with finely-aged copper coping, one might think the only thing missing is a hitching post out front. Whatever time of the year I find myself here, the Floradora is always friendly, busy and filled with the aroma of western-style goodness. While the lunch menu offers a nice selection of apps, salads and sandwiches, it's what lies "between the buns" that rules! The Floradora has the best darn burgers in town! One of my favorites is the Western Burger with caramelized onions, bacon, cheddar cheese and a yummy prickly pear BBQ sauce (which is so dang good I end up smothering it on everything). My husband and I have been coming to Floradora for years and it's time I left a review. Over the years, the food is always fresh and flavorful. We have tried everything on the menu, literally! If you're hungry enough to start with appetizers, the jalapeño poppers and the Brie with honey are both fabulous! Last evening, we went with two of our favorites: the Diablo Bowl for him and the Salmon and Avocado Salad for me. I'm also a fan of the Atomic Chicken Salad. The desserts at Floradora are homemade by the owner and wonderful! I highly recommend the peach cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream or the vanilla rum cake. You won't go wrong with any of the desserts though, and the pies change depending on what fruits are in season. I can't recall our server's name, but she was excellent and works there on account of the food. Lots of crafty cocktails, wine, and beer on tap if you're inclined. Came here for lunch and cocktails and was blown away. I had the "flatliner" for a drink as well as some grapefruit vodka. Both were delicious. For an appetizer we got the baked Mac and cheese. Honestly the best I ever had. For lunch we had the "the boy" which is a turkey sandwich. Also recommend that. It was so fresh and delicious. Owner should not be running this business, people were walking out as wait for food exceeded 45 mins to an hour, items missing, no one giving updates or asking for drink orders while everyone was waiting patiently. My family and i stopped in for dinner around 5. Our server was nice when she showed up which was very infrequent, but spent most of her time gossiping and joking around with the other staff. Two separate staff members made eye contact with me while i was attempting to get some service and immediately turned away and ignored me while they went back to the conversation. Oh yeah, we had to wait for her to finish eating before we could order. The food is also mediocre at best. I ordered the philly and it just tasted like boiled beef. The rest of the food at the table followed suit. On par with.......i don't know.....maybe a poorly run chili's. Although I've had better food there. Avoid! Great little spot in Telluride. They serve brunch from 10-2:30, which would usually mean breakfast for me, but I had already had a big breakfast that morning. So, based on Yelp reviews, we both had burgers. I had the Lamburger. It had a LOT of goat cheese on it, which I love, but it kind of killed the mint and dig flavors. I ordered it medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. Hubby had the basic burger with bacon, cheddar and caramelized onions, also medium rare. He enjoyed it very much!! We both had sweet potato chips for the side, and weren't very impressed, so I would get fries or edamame next time. Kind of a small local tap selection - that was surprising. I really like this place. Old West bar feeling with great food (and presumably great drinks too). We started with pork belly on heirloom grits with bourbon bacon sauce. Amazing. I had an excellent Monte Cristo sandwich with tomato basil soup. Added a side salad. She had a bacon cheeseburger that had an open flame grilled taste. Quality meat. Don't pass this up! The jalapeño poppers are incredible, genuinely spicy without chemical seasoning. The halibut, prepared properly and served with amazing asparagus, properly cooked. Great food and excellent service! My partner and I were visiting Telluride and looking for vegan/plant based options, and thankfully we stumbled upon this place. They offered several different vegan options such as quinoa burger, squash fries, spaghetti squash (which I highly recommend) to name a few.
