A quick 5 stars for Gib's RV…read more While staying at the Oceanside RV park, I thought I had a problem with my slide out & called them in hopes a technician could respond. However, the Gib's employee talked me through the steps over the phone & corrected my problem without sending anyone out & best of all, it was FREE.

As an update to a previous review which I posted about Gib's RV in Coos Bay I'll offer the…read morefollowing: in September I took our fifth wheel trailer in for a soft spot in the floor by the door. After a week I finally got an estimate for repair. They quoted about $10,000 to repair. ($800+ in parts and the rest in labor) because it was "a big job". I thought that was ridiculous since they didn't take anything apart to be able to make a reasonable judgement. I decided that it wasn't worth it, so I decided to try to fix it myself as I have the tools and am bit of a handyman. I cut the vinyl floor and lifted it to reveal that the chipboard had rotted due to water. What amazed me was that it was only about 2' in and less than 3' wide. I pulled up what I could and found that under that was rigid styrofoam that looked fine. Now all that I need to do is cut out the rest of the rotten wood, buy a piece of marine ply wood, set it in place, re-lay the vinyl and the threshold and it'll be better than new. Total cost will be the price of the plywood and a piece of rigid styrofoam to replace what I cut out to see what was underneath. No where near the $10,000 that I was quoted. I would NEVER recommend these shysters.

She answered our questions and if she didn't know the answer she got one for us! She is very likable and a great asset to this company. The whole experience at RV outlet was great! These are honest, hard working people who truly want to make you happy with your purchase. They are not pushy or cutthroat like so many other places. I highly recommend if you are looking for a motor home/travel trailer, this is the place to go!

Had water running through our coach under both living room slide and bedroom slide while we were traveling 3 1/2 months after we purchased it. Left several messages with Joe to have someone call me and tell me what we can do about it as we were out of state and would be for 3 months. No one called me back. Brand new trailer with water leaking every time it rained. Joe told me the Owner Dennis would call, Jack the GSM or Paul the Service person and no one called me. Called 3 consecutive days in a row and not a returned call. Found out recently that there had been stress crack repairs done to the RV a year before we purchased. The Fifth wheel has one problem after the other and of course the expensive extended warranty is not paying off. Lots of other choices to purchase an RV from. I would not recommend this Dealer at all.

Said somebody had broken into their lot and stole my battery. They replaced that but they acted like they didn't know why my paint was all torn up on the rear cap. Turns out it was from the people who stole it, slinging gravel in a flatbed. Made them pay for it Ridiculous that an RV would have 44 defects in it brand new. Even more ridiculous that these idiots would keep it a year trying to figure it out. I'm not talking to anything major or structural.. When I pick the unit up, they had a fat bill attached to it. What's that about? It's under warranty. Incompetent rip off artists Stay away Edit: in response to the "business owners" comments. Yes sir, are covering your rear, as I could not forget such a circumstance. If you're at 2400 W. 7th Ave., in Eugene, that's you. I don't care if you have records of a break in or not, your insurance paid for it. Before I pick up my unit, I had to call out the big guns of your dealership to administrate the mess and pare down the stupid bill to something more reasonable for the few items Warranty didn't cover. One guy got fired over it. Another one of the GS family members who served as an advocate to sort out the BS got demoted afterward (well that's what he told me ) because his decisions were viewed as losing money. You may not work on Keystone anymore, but you sure the hell did then. You guys even called and tried to get me to accept cheap interstate batteries after my two expensive Centennial 6 V golf cart batteries were stolen. Snakes. Paint repair and fiberglass repair on my rear cap work was done by the business adjacent (practically inside the fence) to your back parking lot . Oh, it was you alright. I would keep quiet if I were you because anything you say further is simply a lie of convenience and CYA. What responsibility or credibility is built upon. Something woefully lacking in the RV Repair business.
