From the consultation phase, I could tell Nestor was able to both listen to my needs and make useful suggestions -- helping to trust in his experience and ability to understand what I'm trying to accomplish in the renovation. Nestor reassured me that his team will take care of my needs and my belongings during the project and that the key thing is I'm happy in the end. He accompanied me during the material purchasing phases and ensured I got discounted pricing. We did encounter some challenges along the way, and the team was able to pivot in order to address those and get back on track. They were able to work while I was out of town and provided some updates to keep me looped in. In the end, we were able to complete the project that aligned with our design rendering. One recommendation I have is the working team can save time by doing a bit more quality checks such as on wall painting. I found them very easy to work with. They don't nickel-and-dime you on small changes like other contractors, and they allow you to purchase fixtures and other finish items directly--far easier than having to buy everything through the GC. Almost everyone on the project were A2z employees rather than subcontractors and I found them to have a strong sense of craftsmanship.
