This is a great stop on the way to Key West! I will definitely add it as a 'go-to" on my future trips. Great and laid-back brewery with a fun and colorful outdoor patio and friendly service. This place is Florida key's finest. Super chill vibe, amazing outdoor seating area with live music frequently. Oh - and amazing brews! As a semi-regular (regular when I'm here!) it's great to have such a regular rotation of new brews. And for me, there's always great stouts, browns, and porters. Thank you! That's not it of course, and they have great IPAs and whatnot. And then there's the taco truck that is seriously legit. Amazing. Come here. You will be happy. read more

I go out of my way to visit local breweries wherever and whenever I travel, and I'm certainly happy we stopped at Florida Keys Brewery for some cold brew and a light lunch from Tacos Jalisco! Florida Keys Brewery has a great selection of cold brews, but also some cool seltzers and other drinks available. This made it particularly attractive, since my wife and daughter don't care for beer. The Smelly Butt IPA was my fave and, quite frankly, so much fun to order that I had to keep going back! Combined with some excellent tacos fro Tacos Jalisco, and a friendly atmosphere, this was definitely worth the stop! read more

They ask for a review and they came to the right place because that's what I do. The vibe you get when you pull up is great! Because the place is pink and yellow on the outside. When you walk I they have two large stainless steel tanks. Brewing happens at the old location. Now the service is superb. You order when you arrive. If you want to sample something, they give you a quick sample for no extra cost. I tried the pilsner named after the cat and it was great. I also had the west coast ipa which was good. Wife had the Kolsch which is one of the best that I e tried next to the one at island Hoppin Brewery on Orcas Island in the North Pacific. What is it with island breweries and Kolsch. They have a Mexican food truck outside that looks like it's stationed all the time here. Outside seatery is picnic tables scattered in the backyard. Always sunny here obviously Parking is limited in the front and will require additional parking down the road. Overall great experience and happy we stopped. read more

What a fantastic find in the Keys! This place will put you in a beer-induced island state of mind...from the phenomenal flights, to the incredible staff, to the chillAF ambiance, to the awesome indoor and outdoor space (with live music). They have an amazing beer selection with almost everything on the menu available for the flight! You can do a 5 or 10-taster (they offer a 17-taster, but that needs to be split between at least two people). I went during COVID and they were doing a good job of social distancing, requiring masks at the bar or anytime you left your seating area. They have a great selection of merch and cans to take home. There's also a "brewery cat-in-residency" who is laid back and will even pose with your beers. Whether you are stopping here on your way to Key West, on your way back to the "mainland" or just want to make this place your destination, you are in for a great time! Be prepared to drink like a local and live the island life... read more

Wow what a great find!! We found this place on our first day visiting Islamarado and have been back every day since. We are actually here right now. We are not normally beer drinkers but we both found a couple of beers we really loved. The vibe here is so chill and there's entertainment at night. All the servers are so friendly and they're a taco truck here if you're hungry. We didn't try the truck but from what I see everyone is enjoying their tacos. The coffee brown beer was delicious but my favorite was the Weedline wheat. Give this place a try. read more

This place is adorable! A cute mix of Keys & beer! It is right on the Overseas Highway in Islamorada & painted purple; so we spotted it while driving south & decided to stop & give it a try! It looks like a tiny place; but they have several tables inside, spaced for social distancing of course, and a good sized "Beer Garden" our back with picnic tables, benches, Adirondack chairs etc, all with a tropical & colorful flair. They have cool artwork all around; things made from bottle caps and funny Keys-themed signs. I loved that the tables had a sign that said "CLEAN TABLE," so you knew it was sanitized & you could turn it over to say "DIRTY TABLE" when you left the establishment. Now of course the important thing is the beer! They had over 15 styles; all with cute names. I like wheat beer; so I tried the Weedline Wheat. It was really great! I sometimes don't love craft beers....but I really liked this one! My husband had the Smugglers Cove Oatmeal Stout, and he really liked his choice as well. We just had the 16 oz. size because we had another hour and 1/2 of driving to do. I would love to go and try a flight next time. So many flavors sounded enticing! They also had cute souvenirs; colorful tanks, tees, and hats with fun original artwork. (We might be stopping on the way back home to make a purchase.). That way we could try another beer style too! You could also buy cans to go and growlers for refills. I really liked this place; although I really wished they served food. (Lunch was our original intention..) They did gave a food truck outside; but it wasn't serving on a Friday at noon. Overall this is a really cute place with delicious craft beers in a fun-eclectic setting. Alright, this place has it going on with their decor!! I LOVED all the artwork made out of bottle caps, the vibrant colors, paintings and everything else this small indoor space has going on. And then there is the beer! The place was packed but luckily, when in the keys, everyone is just super chill and friendly! We had a wait a while for service as it was that busy but it was perfectly fine, I walked around taking photos and when two seats opened up, the other patrons were nice enough to automatically offer to just slide down so Ben and I could sit together. They have an awesome "back yard" going on too that we didn't really venture out into to actually sit because it was pretty hot that day but I could imagine spending some time sitting out there relaxing and playing games with friends and enjoying some delicious beers together. read more

We stopped by for a refreshing cold beer, and were not disappointed. The selection of beers is not large, but most of the ones we tried were very good. The space inside is small and the seating is very uncomfortable, but they have a very nice outdoor space with plenty of seating. This is great in good weather, but may be challenging during the hot and rainy season which can last half of the year. All in all it's a nice little place, and the beer is great. read more

Absolutely fantastic beer with fun eclectic names. Great service. $16 flights for 5 tasters. All were delicious! The outdoor seating area is really charming and colorful. They are OK with you staying after they close out on the patio, so we could take our time catching up with old friends. This is also a great place to get T-shirts/souvenirs. Cute little shopping area. They also have cans of beer to-go which was nice to bring some back to the hotel and on adventures the next day. Highly recommend and definitely going back! read more
