Just had a awesome meal at Flor's Diner. I had a beef taco salad; which, was massive! The shredded beef melts in your mouth and is perfectly seasoned. A lot of the time shredded beef tends to be too salty, but it is delicious here at Flor's. The menudo which is served only on the weekends, but is very flavorful and my father was satisfied with his bowl with all the fixings. My mother had a waffle breakfast with eggs and bacon with coffee. The coffee is really good here; which, she appreciated very much. Awesome little place in Colton that is busy in the morning hours, they close at 3pm everyday. I just wish they were open longer for dinner. read more

I got the Carne asada dinner plate, beans, rice and flour tortillas. The Asada was very good, the rice was very moist. The hot salsa was very good. Update to our first Review of Flors: After a sparkling first opening, our last three visits have been disappointing. Today we were seated, offered coffee, and after drinking it we became invisible! I have never, ever, in my whole life had better chili verde. I am blown away by the quality of the food here. I had the burrito ranchero. My wife had the beef dip, and she enjoyed it nearly as much as I did the burrito. The staff was friendly and quick. The food was absolutely wonderful. I really cannot say enough about how good my burrito tasted. The decor has been upgraded since the last tenant here, and looks very nice. The prices are very reasonable. I cannot wait to come back and try other things from their varied menu. This is another Colton gem that we need to keep here as long as possible. read more

So..the menudo is good...real good. Clean, good flavor ...meat was cut into nice bite size pieces. The service is awsome..I felt like we had 3 waitresses at all times. My wife had the biscuits and gravy..delicious...surprisingly the salsa is a little ..different. not bad just...different..has a ketchupy hint at the end. I've found that some places just have their salsa and I know when I eat there I expect to have that salsa...wouldn't buy it if it was bottled and wouldn't try to duplicate it at home..but while in the restaurant I'll eat it. Ok, so it was our first time here. We walked in and the place was packed! Despite that, were immediately greeted with a friendly hello and seated. The menu is very nice, with plenty of choices. We order up some chips and salsa, and that was a nice start. Mon ordered chili relleno, a cheese enchilada, the plate had beans and rice. I decided on the Mexican skillet which is huevos con chorizo over some potatoes. I didn't need to add any salsa to this cuz it had just enough bite already. This also came with two pancakes . Oh, can't forget the side of bacon . The portions are Big and we couldn't finish it all. We ended up with a small to go box. They serve up a lot of different items/choices. Located on the corner of Valley and Rancho in Colton across from Colton High School is Flor's Diner. Awesome place for breakfast! Food is fresh, service is great, place is clean. The biscuits are so fluffy and tender and the gravy is really good. The menudo was flavorful and the tripe was tender. Good balance of tripe to hominy. My hubby had the steak and eggs which he said they cooked his steak a perfect medium rare and kept our coffee cups filled. They offer a pretty wide variety of items on the menu. The hours are a bit odd for a diner but really great little place. read more

Just wish it stayed open late. 4 p.m. closing is way too early. My husband tried the ham and sausage breakfast burrito and then asked to have it ranchero style which meant chile Verde, sour cream and avocado on top. Delicious! It usually takes a lot to impress him too. I had the chorizo skillet which was simple but tasty. I especially liked their red salsa with it.
