I tried this place on Friday morning, at 10AM. It was packed. Not bad for a week day, usually you get this type of crowd, only on Sunday mornings, after church! So, they must be something right, to have that many people eating! Service was a little slow, because of so many people, that bombarded the place. They got cut off guard, and were understaffed, in the waiter's/waitresses dept. but, managed to pull it off, until they got reinforcements! The food is out of this world! I had a Ortega chili & mushroom omelette, with country fries, and pancake's! I must say the country fries, were the best, I have ever eaten! Bar none! I have never seen a food place in Colton, so consistently busy, and I have been raised there, since September 1952. I, in the last 7 years, live very close to the Colton/San Bernardino city limits boundary. This place has only been open one month, and three days! They're breaking all records! The food is GREAT! They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner! It is a "family" operation, and they do things.......quite well. I see, there is one, or two not so good reviews......these people who write, usually go into a place, looking for problems, anyway! So, what can you expect, from them? They're hard to please, no matter how hard you try! They'll complain, or bitch about something! So, pay them, no heed! We had decided to try this restaurant after reading about it on a FB page. The waiter greeted us almost immediately and we sat down with the impressive menus. We just decided on "regular" breakfasts, my husband and I both got egg and sausage breakfasts...he chose toast and I got biscuits and gravy. My granddaughter opted for a chocolate chip pancake and sausage. First of all, let me say that this place is immaculately clean. Even the windowsills are wiped clean. No dead flies, no unknown fuzzy stuff lying around. So after checking out their several page menu, I asked if I could only have 2 eggs instead of 3...no problem....we asked if the pancake could be a smaller portion since it was for our 4 year old granddaughter...no problem. Coffee was served immediately and refills were offered quite often. The food was served very quickly and everything seemed so fresh. The eggs were cooked perfectly to order and the sausage have a good flavor and a great 'snap' to them. I have to tell you, this is the FIRST restaurant in California that has served a really good biscuits and gravy ever....the biscuits are par for the course but holy mackerel, the gravy is really good! Little chunks of sausage grace it...it's really good and I was surprised. I've ordered that item in almost every other restaurant in the Southland and none of them measure up to this gravy! All my four year old granddaughter would say between bites is "Delicious!" and "My milk is so good and cold!" As we left, we said, "This is my favorite place to eat, Gramma!" Anyway...we felt the prices were fair, the service was outstanding, and we will definitely be going back to try some other meals there soon. Love this place for its great breakfast menu and very friendly staff. We go once a week for breakfast. Very family friendly with lots of big booths for everyone. They serve menudo on Saturdays and Sundays. You can have a large bowl or bring your own pot and take some home. The staff have worked there for years and they are very kind and attentive. read more

Our service was great and food presentation was nice but the food itself was average, at best. Our asada fries came out with our meals and the asada was bland and rubbery. The pastrami & cheese omelette had plenty of cheese, but the eggs & meat were overcooked, brown and dry. I could barely taste the few tiny bits of pastrami in the omelette. The chili size had just enough chili to cover the burger patty, and again was not very flavorful. Lunch date w my Hubby at Flor's today!! First time we stopped was for dinner - we both work hard and sometimes too tired to make dinner - unfortunately they don't have dinner hours. But needless to say, we decided to try them out for lunch and so glad we did!!! Not only was the food great - He had enchiladas and I had the chicken club w onion rings - sooo good!!! We drove 1.5 hours to come and eat breakfast here and support our friends new business . It's our first time and I was very impressed. It's conveniently located right off the 10 Freeway, fully remodeled and well furnished restaurant. Staff was very polite and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable and the food... oh my. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs with a side of biscuits and gravy. Really big home style portions big enough to where two people can eat off of one plate. We keep coming back for two reasons. 1. The food is good. And 2. We like to support our local small businesses. However, every time I order to-go, there always seems to be an issue. I understand that they're busy so I won't even complain about how many times you have to call in order to get through to place your order. When you do get through, the customer service is pretty bad and it's worse when you come and pick up your food. They don't even acknowledge the fact that you're standing there, waiting to be asked if you've been helped. They don't even acknowledge you enough to say they'll be with you in a moment. But the biggest issue of all is calling your order ahead of time, arriving and being told that it's going to be an additional 15-20 minutes because they forgot to make your order. They don't apologize or try to justify the situation. But that's no surprise considering their customer service sucks enough to where they don't even acknowledge you standing there. This is the last time I come here. There's places that are just as good, if not better, and treat you better. These ladies in the front really don't care about you. Totally unexpected & delicious! We were looking for something not only open on Easter, but not a packed madhouse. The first 3 Yelp results were beyond crowded, so we decided to drive to Flor's & cross our fingers. It's in a small strip mall, but don't be discouraged by it's humble outside. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted & seated. The waitress took our drink order & within seconds brought over 2 steaming hot cups of coffee. The menu was saturated in breakfast options! We ordered the Eggs Benedict & the Chicken Fried Steak with eggs & biscuits and gravy. The food arrived quickly & was hot! The Benedict was delicious! The Canadian bacon was literally 1/2"- 3/4" thick. Super tender! The chicken fried steak was crispy, but not greasy. Gravy was awesome! Couldn't have asked for a better breakfast or better service!
