Came in on a Friday with a reservation to sit at the bar. Unique concept where you can see into the kitchen from the bar! Drinks were good and food was fab! Recommend the buratta to start!!

First time back to Flour Shop in a while and it was good! The place certainly stays busy but food comes out quick and servers were all very nice. We ordered 3 pasta entrees and had some mixed reviews. The lemon ravioli was good if marketed as a standard ravioli, no real lemon taste to it. Baked rigatoni is always popular and the Balanzoni was new for us. Always loved that it is an open air kitchen so you can see the food there being prepared.

My husband took me to Flour Shop in Charlotte for my 33rd birthday, and as a big Italian food lover, I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate. This spot had been on my list for a while, and I'm so glad we finally made it happen, it absolutely lived up to the hype. We were warmly welcomed and seated quickly, and our server, Emily, was fantastic from start to finish. She brought us water right away and gave us thoughtful recommendations, taking time to walk us through the different pasta options on the menu. You could tell she really knew the food. We brought a favorite bottle of wine from home (they do charge a $25 corkage fee) and started our meal with the Little Gem Caesar salad. It came with croutons, shaved Parmesan and was light, crisp, and perfectly dressed. We also ordered the bread service, featuring their house focaccia and fresh cultured butter. A simple thing done so well. For our mains, we split two pastas: the squid ink linguine with shrimp and the orecchiette with sausage. Both were phenomenal. The pasta was clearly house-made and incredibly fresh. The shrimp in the linguine was tender and flavorful, and the orecchiette had just the right balance of richness from the sausage and brightness from the sauce. It was hard to pick a favorite as every bite felt special. We were so full after dinner that we had to skip dessert, but I've already got my eye on the bread pudding and tiramisu for our next visit. Flour Shop is a must-visit for any pasta or wine lover in Charlotte. It's warm, welcoming, and full of comfort. The thoughtful service and dishes that taste like they were made by someone who truly cares. The perfect spot for a birthday, date night, or just a much-needed night out. I left feeling full, happy, and completely celebrated.

You'll enjoy your meal, but you can easily find several other places in CLT to enjoy the same dishes at a lower cost. It's a neutral interior space with floor to ceiling windows on 2 walls, containing much needed sun shades. The service was great, no complaints there. It's in a walkable area of Park Rd shopping center with plentiful parking which is a plus. It's overall a good experience but none of the food items stood out as exceptional, when I'm paying exceptional prices, especially $8 for bread bites that combined are maybe 1.5 slices of bread.

The menu was limited but the food was great. We had people in our party with food allergies and other dietary restrictions and they worked around us. Our colleague who is vegan had to opt out of going to dinner with us as she did not find anything she would have been able to eat. Otherwise we had a very nice time.

Food is delicious, lots of flavors but awfully slow service. We had a reservation but got sat 35 minutes later. Then once we got sat, the serving staff was slow to take orders but also for the food and drinks to be delivered. Definitely recommend trying for the food and atmosphere is nice, just need to focus on improving service.

The decor in the restaurant is so cute! Love the vibe. Very bright and sunny! We were seated at the time of our reservation. Staff was kind and helpful with any questions! All of the food came out STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL, as seen below. Shockingly, the pasta was by far our least favorite component of the evening. The pasta had a strong bite to it, so much so that it makes me think the pasta were store bought and not homemade like expected. It was definitely undercooked and came out closer to warm temp than bubbling hot. The flavor was good but it only came with 3 small meatballs which was a bit disappointing (especially splitting the meal). HOWEVER the Cesar was PHENOMENAL and I will be back on the regular to get it to go, along with the horseradish potatoes. I'm droooooling just thinking about it. For me, the bread service was meh, but I'm not much of a bread person. Everyone else I was with was obsessed with it, but for me, just bread with butter that made me want some flaky salt. Overall, I'd definitely go back, but I'd get a different pasta, or more likely, one of their entrees since their sides are soo good.

Delicious homemade pasta...with incredible sauces, cheese, meats for an all around great meal. It is a bit pricy......The grilled shrimp pistachio pesto dish was $28, and tiny. The burrata is $16. This is not somewhere I'd go all the time. The menu also changes every few months, so don't go by the online menu because it might be different once you get there (which makes it hard to menu plan in advance) The heaviness upset my stomach as well, so beware if you have trigger foods or allergies. Service was great!! That must be said. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the kitchen cook and prepare everything. Cool vibe overall.

Another Italian/pasta restaurant in Charlotte. Being in park road shopping center, parking is easy. Servers are friendly. Great for casual hangouts. Burrata with pesto was the most impressive one. We were offered extra bread including brioche. Squid ink with shrimp was great as well. Lamb ravioli, as dish off the menu, was okay - flavorful but portion was moderate. As for dessert, we were recommended the bourbon brown sugar ice cream. I preferred the vanilla ice cream more but my friend loved the bourbon one.

Birthday dinner here was FANTASTIC! The burrata was amazing and so was their focaccia bread. The dish that won me over - spinach & potato gnocchi, just WOW!!!! I'll be back for that alone, so good. Everything is made in house, with a wonderful open kitchen and cute dining area. This is a great date night spot for sure. My 4 stars instead of 5 stars on Yelp was due to the annoying somewhat large party that was sat behind us with kids, not necessarily the restaurant's fault but I would have loved to have been seated on the other quieter side of the restaurant. I honestly didn't even want to stay for dessert at that point and was ready to leave. So I guess my only recommendation would be for seating to be considered a little more by the hosts up front (some folks are just wanting to spend a nice evening dinner out without the sound of chaos in the background).

Our server, Austin, was awesome! He gave plenty of recommendations and made sure we were taken care of! We all ordered the endless summer margarita which had watermelon but also we asked for muddled jalapeños to get added which were sooo yummy that we had three each haha! Also, the Mexican candy shots were delish!! We opted to just split a bunch of appetizers over ordering entrees and they were all fabulous! We had the slicer charcuterie board which consisted of the chef's cheese and meat selections, roasted asparagus, and toasted bread and everything on the board was delish! We also really like the spicy tuna crispy rice and the bbq pork belly nachos. My favorite were the pretzel bites with beer cheese. The cheese came out with a warmer under it so that it stayed nice and melty for us! Lastly, we shared the monkey bread dessert which we were pleasantly surprised had some spiced apples in there as well which paired nicely with the vanilla ice cream on the side :) Overall, we had a great time and look forward to coming back soon!

The first time was in November 2025 and 2nd time March 2026 where the bartenders were professional, welcoming, knowledgeable, and made some of the best Bloody Marys we've had in Charlotte. The food was excellent, and we left both times excited to come back. Unfortunately, this Sunday's visit (around 2 p.m.) felt like a different restaurant. It was much busier, and service was noticeably lacking. We waited quite a while just to be acknowledged, our drinks weren't nearly the quality they had been before, and the Bloody Mary tasted like it came straight from a mix instead of being handcrafted like our previous visits. The food was also disappointing. It was much saltier than we remembered, and we never received the Caesar salad with steak we ordered. To the staff's credit, it wasn't on our bill, so we didn't mention it. Overall, no one was rude, but the attention to detail, professionalism, and overall experience that earned our previous five-star reviews just wasn't there this time. We're hoping this was simply an off day because we genuinely loved this place and would like to see it return to the high standard that made us regular customers.

The food is over the moon delicious with plenty of options and reasonable serving sizes. Even with the slightly high price point, it is well worth every penny. And they take allergies SO seriously! Literally went through a bunch of ingredients to find what would and wouldn't be dairy-allergy safe. Atmosphere is fun but cozy, too. 100% recommend! In-depth: Postino has quickly become one of my favorite places in the CLT area after my 10/10 experience here. To start, the food. My word, it's amazing! Everything my friend and I tried was delicious. The bruschetta is 100% worth trying (the spinach artichoke one is my favorite), and the west coaster panini + romaine salad was tasty at every bite. Their wine is also good quality, with a decent-sized portion poured. Allergy safety is a major thing for them, too. Our server (Lee = the best waitress!) and her manager looked through their bread and ingredients for about 30 minutes to confirm what was and wasn't dairy safe (I asked how dairy allergies are handled for when I bring my husband next time). They also had quite a few gluten-free options, too. The manager explained that she wants people to be able to just come in and relax for a few hours without worrying if they'll get sick, which I truly, truly appreciate. Lee shared a similar sentiment, which was amazing. Now price... Yes, it is a *bit* pricey, but it is well worth it. Nothing felt lacking as far as flavor goes, and the allergy safety is a huge thing. This is one of the few places I felt my sandwich and salad were worth every penny, even if it was $17. Also, their rewards program is great. I got a free bruschetta board, and they offer several other perks. Make sure to sign up before or while dining there to get some good deals! In addition to their sincere care for allergy safety, the service is fantastic all around. They do group service, meaning you'll have several servers, and they encourage you to grab anyone if you have questions. This takes the pressure off of waiting for one server to walk by and really helped me relax. And the atmosphere? I could stay there all day! It's a really fun vibe, but the lighting and seating are very cozy. Overall, I've already recommended this place to 5+ people and will be returning soon

The staff was amazing and I was astounded by their dedication to their craft. The best part was the food. We started with the chefs board which had an array of cheeses and spreads. The most memorable was the whipped feta. OMG. The Ambiance was the only thing I feel could use some tuning as there's not enough sound deadening to make the music out? We also wanted to celebrate with a strawberry mojito. First, our waiter told us they were out of the non-alcoholic version, so we said we'd just get the alcoholic one instead. He came back again and apologized, saying he had misspoken--they don't offer strawberry mojitos at all, either non-alcoholic or alcoholic. He first suggested a cranberry spritzer, then recommended a lemon drop and a strawberry chipotle mojito. Unfortunately, both drinks were disappointing. The lemon drop was bland, and the strawberry chipotle mojito barely tasted like it had any alcohol and was also lacking flavor. We were told the upstairs comedy club had recently been renovated. While it looked updated, I was surprised by how small the stage was. The seating also felt cramped, with four people expected to share a very small table. Compared to other comedy clubs we've visited in Charlotte, the layout just didn't feel well thought out. The highlight of the night was getting to see Flame Monroe, but overall the venue itself didn't leave a lasting impression. If you're curious, it's worth visiting once to experience it for yourself, but it's probably not a place we'll return to.
