We had the Mother Earth bowl with chicken, Forbidden Rice bowl with steak and Protein + 2 sides bowl with steak, smashed gold potatoes and broccoli. The chicken was a bit dry and bland for the Mother Earth bowl; could've used a bit more sauce or seasoning for the chicken. The Forbidden Rice bowl had good flavor and saucy. Atmosphere, conversation, and reunion were great, but the food didn't seem to blow any of us away... and yes, a bit pricey for what you get (I sound like the Progressive Commercials with Dr. Rick "Fast Casual" at the end when they say "$19.45... Oh I'm just paying for my own salad). I've been to the other locations in the valley & I'm glad that this option is near work. It's a good option for those looking for a healthy option & it replaces another spot that was a few doors down. They say you "want the good stuff, you gotta pay for it" which I agree, but I thought to myself that a "salad n go" salad would have hit the spot way better for 1/3 of what I spent & what I got. This place was packed for lunch hour on a Thursday. However, there were plenty of covered seating outside (if you're able to handle the heat, and I was that day). First time here and completely happy with my experience! My friend and I both ordered the same Steak Rebel Wrap and wow I was really surprised at how flavorful it was! The steak was perfectly cooked and I love the multigrain wrap it came in too! We are part of their "our tribe" loyalty program and have not been able to use the $15 on our account since we got it a few months back. Today we ordered pickup and again they've gone over 10 to 20 minutes past our pickup time (which we had already been given a 30min wait time in the first place). I asked for medium-well steak for myself and my toddler and the steak came looking really raw. It was really tough to chew. I was so happy to find out a Flower Child opened I'm Chandler. Got my usual Mother Earth bowl with steak and it was great. I prefer my dressing on the side. Everything on the menu sounds and looks good. I feel like I would be happy with anything I get on the menu. Good ingredients and good balance of those ingredients in terms of quantity, quality and flavor. The staff is super friendly and accommodating since we had two babies with us. My coworker and I stumbled here for lunch today and found everything well all around. Ample seating both indoors and outside, the interior has a bright and light atmosphere. Varying levels of artistic lanterns hang from the ceiling, a variety of seating options to accommodate any group. Like all the Flower Child's, you walk in, order at the counter and get a number for your food to be delivered. They have a variety of healthy food options from salads, bowls, plate, and wraps. Drink items are limited to green tea, black tea, and lemonade but very yummy!!! I recommend mixing the lemonade and green tea for an Arnold Palmer. They have a water and ice station machine which I really appreciate! I had the Turkey Cobb salad and it was super tasty with just the right amount of dressing!! My coworker had the Caesar with Chicken. I asked the employee on their recommendations upon arriving to the order counter, and she gave us her top picks from each menu category and her personal recommendation. The staff was super nice and friendly! Many staff members came by to check to see if we were good and make sure that our dishes were cleared and out of our way. Their sides are always my favorite! Though the food was a bit more on the salty side for me today, but I will definitely be coming back to this location! Lots of stores around and very central location. Their food is amazing! The freshness. The taste. The texture. The flavors. It has it all. I absolutely loved the gluten free mac & cheese with aged white cheddar, and parmesan. The texture was cooked just past al dente. I like my noodles firm or cooked just right as opposed to being too soft. This was great. The flavor was good too with the cheese not being too overwhelming or overpowering. The red chile glazed sweet potato with bok choy & sesame seed was divine. The sweet potato was soft and the flavor of the glaze was satisfying. Not too sweet. The steak at 14.95 is served medium. The meat was easy to chew and eat with a great soft texture. The flavor was perfect where I could taste the meat without sensing any grill or charcoiled pieces. I didn't find any gristle or non meat pieces like fat on it. Amazing! I love it! At other places usually I find non meat pieces that I have to remove. For the entrees and protein you can pick a protein plus two sides. Otherwise, single sides are $4.95 each. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I hope more open in the valley. read more

I've been looking for a healthy lunch option and finally decided to hit this place up. Granted it was only one visit but I came away unimpressed. The quality of the ingredients seem to be good but the value of everything and the overall enjoyment of the meal just want there. One of the dishes we got, The Turkey Cobb salad, was about 90% lettuce with maybe two pieces of avocado and lacking in the other ingredients. For $15, this salad is a joke. As for the three other dishes, they all had decent flavors (not amazing) but the portion size was small and again not worth the money. Even when you order in person, they just won't call your name because they're too busy chatting. You have to stand there and pay attention because they do not care enough to do their jobs. I stopped here on the way back from work to pick up a salad. What a disappointment. All of the greens were limp, except for the spines of the romaine. The sliced radishes were dry and had curled because they'd been sitting for so long. There were maybe 4 very small pieces of avocado, so small it didn't even register as an ingredient. The tomatoes were really the only thing that had any flavor. Everything else was tasteless and cut into such small pieces that I was wondering if this was a new way to cut costs. The pieces of snap peas were about 1/2"... It starts to feel like an insult to the customer. Even the overall portion was a joke.
