My friend came into town and we wanted to get a good bite to eat and catch up so we went to Flowing Tide. We were able to get seated right away even though it was busy and our waitress was very good about checking on us until we were ready to order. It was also Happy Hour which ends at 6 so that was awesome because appetizers are $7 and 50% off drinks. I got the Buffalo chicken salad in a wrap and I said no tomatoes but add avocado and it was delicious. The Buffalo chicken was cooked well. It wasn't too breaded. The lettuce was crisp and tasted fresh. The tortilla texture was great. The fries are so good. Crispy and they give you a lot. My friend got some potstickers and she said they are probably a 7/10 for taste. They give you sauces and she personally didn't like them though. She said the potstickers had good texture and flavor. There was pool available and they had tv screens everywhere with the Golden Knights game on. Everyone was cheering and it was loud but it was fun! We have tried 3 times over the last year to come to this establishment and all 3 times my husband and I were ignored by the servers. They don't even try to help and one waitress even stood right in from of our table talking to folks at another table for 10 minutes. The table next to us on one side was served. When we arrived there was a couple at the table on the other side of us. I don't know how long they were there but they were also ignored. They walked out. After another 15 minutes and trying to get a wait persons attention we also walked out. The place was busy but several wait people seemed to have time to chat with other patrons while ignoring us. The first 2 times we came to this place we had similar results. I don't think we're ugly or or dirty. Just a couple of middle aged folks who wanted some dinner and drinks. read more

Pretty disappointed with this flowing tide. I am a huge flowing tide lover (so much so I had it at my wedding!) but my latest experience at this location was a major bummer. We came in November 2nd in the evening. First off, we were sat at a table right by the door. It was relatively busy so we understood. However, about 15 minutes later a booth opened up. We had not gotten any food or drinks yet, our waitress was pretty busy. There were 4 of us and we were having such a hard time hearing eachother at the table, and it was freezing with the door constantly opening. We asked the man who seemed to be working the front door, not sure what his position is since flowing tide is seat yourself. He was old and I think maybe had glasses. Anyway, we asked if we could please move to the booth and he so rudely said "no there is a wait, and also do you look like a party of 8? Only big parties sit there". A simple "no, we are too busy to move right now" would have sufficed. HOWEVER not 5 minutes later, two NEW girls walked in and were immediately sat at the booth! I couldn't believe it. They came in and said "for two" so i know they weren't waiting. After this, I looked around and realized that NOBODY was waiting. So I'm not sure what was up with that. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which is my favorite dish. I asked for extra coleslaw, it came out with no coleslaw so I had to ask for it on the side. By the time I got the coleslaw, my sandwich was so incredibly soggy. The bread was basically non existent. It was slopping out everywhere and I ended up having to eat it with a fork because it was just too messy. Our waitress was great, although seemed a little overwhelmed. She was able to memorize our entire tables order without writing it down though so that's cool. This won't stop me from going to flowing tide but it does make me reconsider going to this location. read more

Came in yesterday a little after 3 to enjoy happy hour. Definitely a lot less crowded than after 5. We sat ourselves in one of the several booths and were quickly greeted by our server. We got a feeling she was "new", as she didn't answer questions correctly, such as "are the beers on this menu, me pointing to the happy hour menu, have available to which she responded yes and left us to make our choice. When she returned I requested the beer of the month list which she promptly brought back for us. My wife ordered the chicken tacos and I ordered the tide wings. A few minutes later our food and drinks arrived. The beer was nice and cold and the food was cooked perfectly. There was a nice crispy layer of skin on the wings. The meat was juicy. The tide sauce is a great flavor when you don't want the standard "hot" wing flavor, so give it a try! My wife enjoyed her tacos stating that the sauce really goes well on them. We would be giving a five star if it wasn't for the 20+ minute wait for our waitress to bring our check. If it wasn't for another waitress noticing that we were waiting we might still be there (kidding!) Plenty of gaming spots at the bar, pool tables, video games, music and s to enjoy the game on. There is a smoking section right next door. Limit outdoor space, if any at all. The he staff is always friendly, and they do their best to make sure that you would want to come back! read more

We called ahead to ask if we could dine with our adolescent daughter. They said that was totally fine because it was before 9 PM. When we arrived we were seated by the front, which happened to be right in front of a massive speaker (which was blown out by the way). Luckily I had a pair of ear plugs for construction to reduce the decimals and save my hearing. Wish I could say the same for my wife and daughter. Additionally, they kept playing obscene music with several other children at different tables. This was totally cringe. The food was actually pretty good, but the atmosphere was not. When you walk in your ears get blasted from the music that is so loud they can hear it down the street, who needs that??? People are trying to eat and talk to each other, not scream to be heard across the table. The steak for the steak sandwich was so tough a steak knife could barely cut it. The time before it was tough and mostly gristle. Service was beyond slow, we were about to leave when the waitress finally came over! Then it took way too long to get things we asked for that were forgotten. And it was not that busy, there was hardly anyone there! I've heard the same complaints from others, and like them it will be a while before we come back! Shame on the management. read more

Had lunch there with my parents. First off our server, Chloe, was a 10 out of 10. She was genuinely friendly, attentive and an amazing server. Service generally shines at the "Tide", but this morning was a miss... The lady at the door greeted and seated us promptly and was so friendly and outgoing. The other staff were a bit, uh, uncaring maybe? We ordered coffee and we're told "we'll have to make some"... ok, it'll be fresh! Breakfast orders were placed and in a bit the food showed up. Eggs were done perfectly (they forgot one on a plate and it took 10 minutes to get it). Toast was cold. Crispy bacon was ordered and it was as floppy as noodles, lacking flavor. The chicken fried steak was topped with a bacon gravy that was the highlight of the dish. The steak itself was bland and very oily from the deep fryer. Pancakes were good tho! A unique crowd of people to watch while enjoying the sports on all of the TV's. Overall, very 'underwhelming' for a breakfast experience. As we were leaving, the bartender that had spent the last 20 minutes sitting at the table by us visiting with her friends, got up, said "well, I've ignored these people long enough, I guess I better get back to work..." UPDATE: I've been craving Flowing Tide's battered fries so I stopped in today @ 12:45 during prime lunch time. They are are pretty darn busy. A good test...I just asked the waitress for a fast fresh hot out of the fryer side order of fries before even sitting at a table. Melissa was delivering them before I got started on my video game. They were perfectly hot out of the fryer as requested and the arrived very quickly as requested so I'm adding back the star I originally deducted. That was likely an off day. I love this place. ORIGINALLY... I've become pretty addicted to the Fish & Chips at Flowing Tide Pub 7. Read that review for a complete sense of how I feel about their Fish & Chips. (:-) And why I rated that location 5 stars. I wanted to try this location because it's a bit closer to home. I'm a little disappointed today because I'm used to the food coming super hot and crispy right out of the fryer. Today they weren't hot and crispy. I guess that can happen. But it made a huge difference for me. However the waitress was awesome. We shared an order of Fish & Chips and just like FT7, this order arrived already divided into two plates. I just think this is SUCH a nice thing for them to do without even asking. I just mentioned that we are sharing. And our waitress checked several times to make sure we had everything we needed. She was great. Brought my check nice and early too. Thumbs up for service. As far as this location...it's excellent. I was concerned when I saw "smoking allowed" on the signage. But the smoking section is completely separated by walls and doors and windows...no hint of smoke. This is an awesome feature. All are welcome here. And all will be comfortable. I will give this location another try because the food was still good and it's obvious that if we'd received it sooner it would have been a 5 star lunch. Flowing Tide is a great spot to go too when you are wanting something quick and cheap to eat especially during happy hour. Their food is tasty but not anything over the top. I ordered the wicked wings and fries and mozz sticks which always are great! The service is relatively fast no matter how busy they are which they were Saturday night. Their was no wait and we sat down and almost immediately was greeted and placed food orders. It was a Saturday night so they were busy the atmosphere was loud with music playing by request through touch tunes and conversations were rolling. I have conflicting thoughts on this venue. 1-the food has always been good. Kudos to the kitchen staff. 2-both my visits have been vastly different. The first visit was some time ago, I don't recall exactly when. My friends and I sat at the table nearest the smoking room. It was a busy night and that was the first available. I wasn't thrilled with the smell that wafted in each time the employees delivered food or drinks to the smoking room, but I understand where we were seated. This fact doesn't reflect on my positive experience with the first visit. The server we had was great. She was friendly, attentive and interacted with us. We were a party of 4. As stated at the beginning, kudos to the kitchen staff as the food was great. Additionally, the drinks we ordered were great. The second time, the waitress/server, Savannah, was the polar opposite. It was a Sunday evening and things were looking promising when the same party of 4 was seated immediately. We sat at one of the booths. She came over and took our order. She didn't write anything down and took our food and drink order all in one. ( we were hungry and had come here after being scorned at another food establishment so we were ready to order both drinks and food). That was the last time we saw her. Another server brought our alcohol and waters. It was then a good twenty minutes or so later and two different servers brought us our appetizers and food. These 3 servers were more friendly than our original server. After we got our food, it was like we were the forgotten table. No one came and asked if we needed anything else, or how the food was. Some staff came and cleared our plates as we finished. I didn't finish my food as it was filling and delicious, again, the kitchen staff did amazing with the food. One of our party had to go up to the bar to ask someone to bring us the check and a to go box. A 4th server/waitress (not sure what is PC these days?) brought me the box for my food and said our original server would be by momentarily with the check. It was another 10 mins later that Savannah finally came and brought the check. There was no apology or anything for not checking on us...or being attentive. As a patron, it didn't seem like a super busy night. There was never parties waiting by the door and there were open tables. I only saw our original server check on 3 other tables throughout the course of our dining experience. I'm not usually one to complain or be upset with staff because I recognize staff shortages and busy nights. But I was absolutely baffled by this experience and was flustered the rest of the night. I considered calling and asking to speak to the manager but did not. I will go back as I normally have pleasant experiences at all flowing tides. But if Savannah is our server again, I will certainly ask to be re-seated. read more

This place, what a really chill and cool vibe!!! Our visit was really enjoyable, and fun! My wife and I stopped in today for an early dinner. I had the AHI POKE BOWL ($17.99) and a couple of Miller High Life beers. My meal was absolutely FABULOUS!!! The dish was LOADED, and I mean LOADED with awesome tasting fish!! The veggies with it (cucumber) were very fresh too. The scallions, nice and crispy! I could barely finish the dish, there was just so much goodness on the dish!!! The ginger was a nice touch too! I'm not sure what kinda sauce they use for this dish, but please BOTTLE IT and sell it to your customers!!! My wife ordered a cup of clam chowder. It tasted soooo good! The bacon in it made for a unique taste, just so enjoyable. Not out of a can goodness, for sure! She also ordered the happy hour appetizer of Chicken Strips and fries. Since it was happy hour, her meal was like $7.00. How cool! The beers were also reduced because of the happy hour. They were like $2.35 or so. The waitress was very nice. She "kept us on her radar", checking with us as needed. It's really nice to feel like your business is appreciated, which I like. I don't usually leave reviews. Normally the Tide here is a 4-5 star experience but not tonight. I've been coming to this tide for about 4 years now with my coworkers, fairly consistently. Never before has there been an automatic gratuity. This wouldn't have been a problem if it had been expressed to us when we were seated as most places do. The server (Angela) did not once come to refill the party's waters or sodas. We sat there unattended to until we flagged her down to get the bill. One of the people in my party ordered the spaghetti with no mushrooms. It arrived cold, they reheated it, and it came back... with mushrooms. I normally have 3+ drinks when we come here but since she left us sitting for so long I only had 2. Angela your automatic tip would have been bigger had you actually checked on your table. read more

This is as much of a thank you to an incredibly kind waitress as it is a rave review. On approaching the restaurant my grandfather took a spill and fell in the parking lot. I, being 7 months pregnant and a half a foot shorter than him was unable to get him back onto his feet. I ran inside to ask if I could borrow a bar stool to help me get the leverage that I needed to be able to hoist him up. A super kind waitress overheard me asking and offered to come out to help me. I didn't catch your name but your an absolute angel and I could not begin to explain how appreciative I am. We ended up having a steak sandwich and the largest bowl of chili that I have ever seen.
