Hamburger bun was hard from being what seemed stale. Several people walked in and walked back out as there's wasn't any servers in the dinning area. Unfortunately, we are not a fan. Very disappointed even though it is rated 5 stars and had good reviews. We as in a party of 7 went yesterday evening, Cinco de Mayo. All 7 plates came out cold, not cold as in a refrigerator but like the food had been sitting there for half hour before it was served to us. We told the waitress and she was very nice and tried to make it right but, we didn't want to wait another half hour to receive our food. We understand that it's a new place but, it's no excuse for ALL SEVEN plates to be cold. 2-Fish/chips, 1-Salmon plate, 1-hamburger, 1-Rueben sandwich, 2 half a Philly and lobster bisque. Enjoyed great food during Happy Hour at the newly opened Flowing Tide across from South Point. We ate on the restaurant side and the atmosphere was great--a little quieter than the bar side. The Caulifire was unexpected, in a good way. The Tider tots appetizer was excellent and more than enough to share. The lobster bisque and accompanying BLT was also two thumbs up . The food is very good, been to other FTP and I like the consistency of the menu. The music sometimes can be loud, but it is not unbearable . We have been here at various times of the day and on different days of the week. We have never been disappointed. The skillet breakfast is amazing. Great food. A must try is the Rebel Burrito. A chicken fried steak burrito! My fiance and myself split it and it is amazing.

The food is usually always really good here! I always ask for Saundra as our server. She's very attentive, always super nice, and has great recommendations. Have also had Sheena as our server before and she's also really great! My only complaint would be that sometimes the drinks are made differently depending on who is bartending - wish each bartender would make the drinks the same. read more

Is it a sports bar with a restaurant OR a restaurant with a sports bar? It doesn't seem to matter unless you go during some important sporting event. Then it does get "crazy". Like it should. Otherwise Flowing Tide on Las Vegas Blvd is a trendy comfortable tavern with video poker machines, a great bar, and really good food. I was there with my wife and a friend of hers recently around 3:00 in the afternoon. Did I tell you they're open 24/7. We could have had breakfast! That is a refreshing thought for people that can eat breakfast almost any time. But we had lunch. My wife had penne sunsetta, her friend had tide tacos and I had their apple gorgonzola salad. All well prepared and delicious. I have also been for breakfast and had their hangover skillet... I took half home for the next day. You don't need to have a hangover to enjoy this! Our server was Jessica and she was terrific. In short, the atmosphere is friendly, open, and inviting. The service is great. And the food is worth the trip to Flowing Tide. Stopped by after leaving southpoint thinking it was the old Italian restaurant/bar that was there before and I was pleasantly surprised it was a completely different place. I must say I was impressed by how they remodeled everything, the ambience was so welcoming and the food was out of this world. We've been looking for a fun local spot to hang and eat and this place fits the bill. We hit it off with the bartender, dan, and will be looking forward to coming back often.
