They had plenty of seating areas so great for students to study or just a place to catch up with friends. Will be back to try a hot coffee next time.

For example, the chocolate croissant is very flakey with a good amount of chocolate in the interior. It really surprised me! I also found the ham and cheese croissant to be very rich in flavor. My only gripe about either or these items was the heating method. I'm not sure how they are heated up, but they feel as though they used one of those quick heaters to quickly get them ready rather than a good toaster to get the items nice and crisp. As good as they are they were a bit limp due to the heating method. In terms of coffee, it's perfectly adequate. They have special offerings as well as their traditional menu. Although it's a little pricey I will probably keep coming back for the pink vibes and to try more matcha drinks.

If you're counting calories, this probably isn't the place for you. If you're counting smiles, memories, and incredible bites of food, then Fluffy Fluffy deserves every one of these five stars. My family visited on a Saturday, and from the moment we arrived, the experience felt special. The atmosphere was bright, modern, welcoming, and full of energy. Outside, there was plenty of space for families to relax while the kids played, which immediately set the tone for a fun outing. Now let's talk about the food. The soufflé pancakes absolutely live up to the hype. When they arrive at your table, they literally wiggle and jiggle. They're almost too pretty to eat. Almost. The texture is unlike a traditional pancake. They're light, airy, cloud-like, and melt in your mouth. We tried the fruit-topped pancakes loaded with fresh strawberries, blueberries, bananas, whipped cream, and fruit sauce. Every bite was rich without feeling heavy. I can't say enough good things about Fluffy Fluffy Cafe in Davis! This place absolutely lives up to the hype. The other restaurant was already opened and they told us that Little Gem would be opening soon. We ended up having to wait quite awhile as Little Gem opened about 15 minutes late and normally I would probably take a star off for that. however the man was VERY apologetic and we are all human so I was not mad about it. We ordered our waffles on the kiosk and they came out fast. The presentation was so cute! The fruit on top was fresh and tasty. The waffles are pretty unique.... they use a yeast-rising brioche dough and contain Belgium pearl sugars that caramelize. It was good! Very sweet for sure but in a good way. They definitely did not necessarily taste like the waffles I had in Belgium, but that apparently is because I had tried "Brussels" type waffles and these are "Liège" waffles. I learned something new and more importantly I learned that I love both types of waffles! Portions were perfect size for my daughter and I but might be a little small for some. The prices were good though so no worries if you need two! A lot of them came with ice cream on top and I was told by another patron that the ice cream at Little Gems is great but we did not try it when we went as we were going for a late breakfast. It's a bit of a drive from Sacramento due to the traffic because of the construction. It was worth the drive to try something new. I've never had this type of Taiwanese shaved ice before. At least I think it's Taiwanese. It was described as frozen milk shaved like shaved ice. It's very fluffy and not chunky like regularly snow cones you get at fairs and festivals. This shaved ices don't compare. I loved the texture of the shaved ice in our Mango Bingsoo(Regular). The shaved ice was covered with mangos and dressed with sweetened condensed milk. I wish there was a larger portion of the condensed milk to pour on top of the plain ice when you run out of mangos. The proportions mango to shaved ice was pretty spot on, though you could always use another layer or two of mangos. I just can't get enough mangos. Price- This was pretty pricy and I would say it's a special occasion type of place. In addition i Size- The regular was the perfect size to share with a friend. For two of us the large would have been too much. Restrooms- They have one unisex bathroom in back. Thankfully you don't need a code to go in. It was clean and well supplied. Entertainment- They have a bookshelf of games to entertain you and your friends as you enjoy your sweet treat. Parking- There is plenty of parking as they share a private lot with the shopping center. It's nothing like downtown Davis where parking is scarce and there is a time limit. Menu- they have a large menu, mostly of drinks. They have a smaller menu of desserts. They had several flavors of Bingsoo(Regular) including a seasonal peach, mango, and our friends got the one with red beans and rice cakes. I had a taste and it was really good also. Would I go back? Yes, for a special occasion.

This location is the one I prefer meeting up with friends because of the size and ambience. And I especially love Frankie Gamez' mural at this location (so beautiful!). Street parking is all around so it is fairly easy to find parking depending on the time of day. My go to meal here is the longanisa rice bowl with extra jalapeños, but I tried the Peach Phuzz pancakes on my last visit and loved them (especially the coconut whip on top). Granted, no pancake will be as good as the now defunct Harry's (still mourning over that closure but hope he's enjoying his retirement!) But if you're a pancake fan I recommend this one. The 1987 and Vietnamese Hazelnut are delicious, and their tea lattes are good too. For sweet items, I like their mochi muffins, and their ube & pandan cookies. Lots of seating and an ample patio area where you can people watch.

I've seen multiple groups of people having to wait around for a table to clear or there's groups of 4+ but only a table that can seat 2 available. You can order with a staff at the counter or order through the QR code at your table. Here's everything that we tried and what I think of them: Ube Latte 8/10 It was good. When ordering through the QR code, the sweeteness options are extra sweet, half sweet, and less sweet, in that order. I wish they had a percentage option instead. Ube French Toast 8.5/10 Delicious, I think they fry it. Steak & Fried Rice 6.5/10 Rice was room temp/almost cold and the steak was a little too salty for my liking. Steak Longevity Noodles 7/10 Steak had the same taste like the steak and fried rice dish, and was salty. The noodles were cooked perfectly, but the sauce was on the salty end as well. Silk Egg 6.5/10 Interesting dish. Not what we expected. It's a poached egg over what almost tastes like a tzatziki sauce. Comes with a Chinese fried donut to eat it. Side of Fries 10/10 Perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The white sauce (assuming aioli?) we dipped it with was good. It's nice they rotate their menu. I look forward to coming back and trying other items.

All of the gelato flavors looked tempting, and we were encouraged to sample several flavors. They have a variety of pistachio treats as well, like biscotti and Turkish delights. And they even have waffle bowls: both savory and sweet. Warning: this place is popular on weekend evenings, there will likely be a long line!
